wish to recommend Donnie Owens Tree Service of New Smyrna Beach. I called requesting a free estimate. He responded within an hour. A dead queen palm was to be removed. The challenge was accessibility as it was located near the front of the house and walkway with pavers. Donnie returned with equipment and completed the job by early afternoon. He designed a method of removal that protected the pavers and lawn. Landing of tree was on target. was thrilled with the result. The area was cleared, cleaned and debris hauled away. He arrived to estimate the job and actually took the time to listen to our concerns and questions and fully explained all options and talked me through the process from start to finish. This guy and his family team were amazing, respectful, accommodating. The work was started immediately and finished within two days. We had tons of trees to be trimmed, removed and carried away. Excellent service, immediate response.

You could not hope for a better group of people. He and his crew were very focused and hard working. Donnie did a great job; his experience with his trade was obvious, as was his leadership in keeping his crew doing all the right things, at all the right times. They did two days worth of work in one and made it look easy at the same time. They cleaned up everything as best they could as they worked and doubled back to made sure everything was as clean as they could get it. If you want your tree service to have pretty vinyl wrapped trucks and nice shiny tools then, by all means, go that route and pay for that. If you want a hard working, dirty, sweaty, tree service, so you don't have to or can't do, then you should call these guys.

Donnie and his crew showed up when he said he would. I told him what I needed. and quoted a price. all the wnnork was done to my satisfaction. He removed 9 trees, a lot of scrub plants. He ground the stumps to below yard depth. Cleaned up the yard. I was extremely impressed with his professionalism. I will surely use Donnies

He came in the morning to see what I needed and said he would be back that day. He did and to watch he and his employees work was amazing. They were extremely professional, efficient and one of the best I've dealt with lately. They even made sure all cleanup was done, and asked for my hose because some dirt got on my fence. What a pleasure the experience was.

I contacted Donnie to get an estimate for this very difficult tree removal. This tree was over 30 feet high. The trunk was within 3 feet of my screen enclosure, and the top of the tree was overhanging it. Donnie was out for the estimate within an hour of contacting him. I knew immediately that this guy knows the tree removal business. Very knowledgeable. The difficulty with this tree removal was it could not be reached by any big equipment as it was in the backyard. Donnie stated he could get it down, and would do the work that very afternoon! He and his crew arrived an hour later, and Donnie climbed that tree, and they removed it without a problem. Ropes and chainsaws is what they used. Not a bit of trouble with the screen enclosure being right under the tree! Amazing!! They hauled the limbs and trunk out to the truck, and nothing left behind! After that removal, my husband decided to have another tree removed in the yard that was equivalent to the same height as the first. We are extremely pleased with the services provided. Would definitely hire them again and again.

Excellent. Donny responded immediately to my call, gave a prompt and reasonable estimate given what had to be done and did the job well and thoroughly. There was a lot of branches and material to chop and grind and Donny and his crew left the property clean, raked and tidy...you would not have known how much was taken from the property based on how neat they left the property. I would also say that I used another company right after we closed on the property that did not deliver the same service level that Donny did.

Took down two large oak trees and removed wood etc from property

Donnie happened to be working across the street from my home. He stopped by half way through and offered to trim a tree that was hanging over my garage. The tree has been an nuisance since I moved in, I had been planning on trimming the tree within the next few months so the timing was perfect. I watched Donnie work across the street and he handled some extremely large trees in dangerous positions with precision. The bucket truck that he uses is larger than the trucks our utility company uses, its a high tech truck, you definitely have a professional tree trimmer with top notch equipment if you call Donnie to handle your tree trimming. i would recommend him to anyone, in fact, I already have.

We have used Donnie on 2 separate projects and been extremely satisfied with his work. He had done some tree trimming work for us at our previous home and went above and beyond, concerned about the safety of our kids, he did extra work to make sure that there weren't branches that could fall down and injure anyone. Today we had 3 trees that needed to be cut down for our pool we are getting ready to put in that we hired him to do. He recommended that while he was here with his equipment, we cut down the other 2 trees as it would be much less expensive than if he had to come back and do it manually once the pool was in. He goes above and beyond what you hire him to do, makes excellent recommendations and his prices are the best I've been quoted.
