Please do not be fooled by his professionalism!!!!!!!!!!!!! He obviously knows how to talk the talk!!!!!!!!!!! I should have read the post somebody else posted on Angie’s List before calling Sean Cole Inc. (Tim Martin). I regret so much calling him to come over to my house. Tim Martin came over to my house April 20th to offer me a free estimate, (after re-scheduling a couple of times) I should have known something was up!!!!!!. The job to be performed was to paint 1 room 13x13 (Baby Nursery), 2 of the walls were going to be a solid color and the other 2 walls were supposed to be stripes from the floor to the ceiling. Also, he was supposed to sand and paint the front door plus install a window film. Tim Martin told me everything was going to be done in 2 days. Since he doesn’t work on the weekends, I had to ask my neighbor to let him in the house and stay with him since I couldn’t take a day off. He was supposed to be in my house at 8:30am so I could go over the design and the colors. 8:45am came by and he was nowhere to be found so I gave him a call, which he didn’t pick up his cell phone. He called me 10 min. later stating that he needed to take his “daughter” someplace, but since I was waiting for him he was going to come to the house right away….. He showed up at the house around 9:00am, went over the design and colors and left after 5 min. He didn’t come back to the house until 11:30am….. which by the way he didn’t come back with the paint. At 12:30pm he was tired and told my neighbor that he needed to clear his head and grab some lunch after putting tape ONLY in 1 wall!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He came back from lunch at 2:00pm, went upstairs to continue working. Somebody call him on his cell phone and stayed in his car for 30 min and finally left the house at 3:30pm. Tim Martin didn’t even complete to put the tape in whole wall. On top of everything, I called him many times throughout the day just to make sure we were still on schedule, and he never denied that he was running behind. Later that night I made the decision that I didn’t want him to continue working on my babies’ room, since obviously the project was going to take more than 2 days, plus after reading the other post about him, I was going to be left with a crappy job that I was going to have to complete. If you want somebody reliable, PLEASE do not call Sean Cole inc. (Tim Martin)

Sean Cole Inc's owner Tim Martin quoted the job to paint kitchen, living room, bedroom and bathroom for $1100. Walls and trim were in good shape, just needed basic prep and nail holes filled. Started job on a Thurs and estimated it would take 2-3 days. After day 1, I noticed he was not prepping the walls, only painting over holes and dings which looked very bad and I asked him about this in which he replied he would fix before the 2nd coat. Evem after 2nd coat, holes and multiple bad spots still visible so I posted stickey notes all over house where touch ups were needed, approx. 50 spots. Day 4 and still working to finish bedroom which was the hardest room. He finally started hitting the touch up spots but the trim was now marked up with new paint and I brought this to his attention in which he said the trim wasnt part of his original quote - but it was FINE before his sloppy work messed it up. Day 5 and he was finally "done", but many spots still let that were scuffed, dinged, not covered, etc. Not to mention the many spots of paint on carpet, trim, tile, counters, etc. The bathroom actually needed an extra coat of paint due to the terrible coverage provided by the first coat. He said he would return the next wk to touch up, but requested final pmt now. I trusted him and paid thinking he would honor his word. NOT SMART of me. He never touched up even after repeated requests by phone, some of which he said he would call me back to schedule but never did. I finally gave up and touched up the spots myself, recoated the bathroom, scraped paint off tile and counters, fixed trim - but I am still left with green paint on my bedroom carpet. Moral of story - good price but terrible work quality and responsiveness. If you are ok with finishing the job yourself, then go right ahead...

GARY RETURNED CALLS PROMPTLY. WAS ON TIME FOR ESTIMATE AND ON DAYS PERFORMED WORK. REASONABLY PRICED COMPARED TO ANOTHER QUOTE. HE INSTALLED VINYL LANAI CEILING OVER PLASTERED CEILING. THEY WERE NEAT AND DID AN EXCELLENT JOB.
