Technician appeared to be new at this type of work, though did what they were hired to do. I'm STILL waiting on them to come back to me if anything is wrong with the compressor. They were to check with Rheem and get back to me. Nothing as of yet.

They were available the next day when I called, which was great! The person who showed up was nice and polite. But then things didn't go as expected. He inspected my hot water heater and told me that i would have to replace the main control valve and that he was all done. I asked about the complete inspection and he obliged, but didn't perform all the tasks listed. He said that it was written up as just a water heater inspection (so i don't blame him personally for that). I asked how much to replace the part and was quoted $570 and pitched on some type of membership deal to reduce the price of such repairs. I said I would have to think about it, because it seemed awfully expensive. I found the part online for about $200, so my fears were confirmed. I contacted my propane company and got a recommendation for another service and called them. They gave me a price of $200 for the part, $65 trip charge, and $20/15 minutes and they expected it to take less than an hour to switch out. (Estimated total of $305-325) -- I asked them to proceed. When they arrived, they looked at the water heater, heard the story of the flood, inspected the water heater and informed me that replacing that part would not fix the problem because the tank was submerged and was not going to work again. I am very upset because i feel that the company that I paid to come and give me honest feedback about the state of my plumbing did a poor and incomplete job and prices that were not reasonable. The second company had reasonable pricing, but is telling me that i have to replace the tank (reviewed by on site-personnel and photographically from others at the shop). On one end or both, i am being used and abused. Who do i trust? At this point, I'll have to trust the second opinion and can't wait another week to get a third.

The problem was taken care of and the service person checked everything out. My only complaint was that I had to wait for several days for a service call. I would use them again, but only if they were able to respond more promptly.

Recently, I posted a negative review about R.J. Kielty Plumbing, Heating and Cooling. If what I wrote scared anyone away from considering R.J. Kielty a reliable and competent company that you can depend on for your plumbing needs, I would ask that you please reconsider. My sole complaint was that after more than 3 weeks, they had never contacted me about performing the services I purchased. However, after gathering more information, I must admit that the failure to communicate was mine. It is only right that I apologize to R.J. Kielty, and to anyone who was misled by my reviews. Yesterday, R.J. Kielty completed my plumbing inspection. The technician, Dave, could not have been more courteous, thorough, and informative. He spent more than two hours completing the list of services I purchased, as well as giving special attention to my personal list of plumbing issues. He disconnected pipes, checked pressures, looked for leakages, took pictures for later reference, he answered my questions, made suggestions, informed and advised me. In short, he was the consummate professional. I sincerely regret my earlier reviews, because I could not have been more pleased with the services I received. Yes, I highly recommend R.J. Kielty Plumbing, Heating and Cooling!

Great and quick service. Original issue was toilet not flushing. They fix within 20 minutes. Hired second time for kitchen faucet sensor not working. They got this working with a bypass.

I think they should send more than one person out to do a job.

TECHNICIAN WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL AND COURTEOUS, HE EXPLAINED WHAT HAD GONE WRONG WITH OTHER WATER SOFTENER AND INSTALLED THE PROPER SYSTEM FOR OUR HOUSE SIZE. THEN, HE SHOWED AND EXPLAINED HOW THE SYSTEM WORKS.

Kielty's technician (James) was great. Prompt, professional, and efficient. We would use them again.

I had a technician, Jim Decosta, arrive to determine what problem I had. He said I needed to replace my outside hose faucet. He did the work right away. He was fantastic. Very professional, knowledgeable and courteous. He completed the work swiftly and it worked perfect! If everyone at RJ Kielty is as good as Jim, I will be dealing with them for many years to come!!!

Very well. The technician was fantastic and professional.

1. My husband's handicapped toilet tank poured water onto the floor when flushed. I stopped into the office at 4:30 PM and they had Mr. Kowalski Hall at the house first thing the next morning with a new handicapped toilet if a replacement was needed. Mr. Hall is personable and told us a new toilet was not necessary it was a simple repair. He even brainstormed with my husband about ways to make it easier for him to rise up from the toilet. We were so impressed we decided to do a project we had been thinking about- installing a backwater valve on the sewer line in the event of a storm/flood to prevent the sewer from backing up into the house. 2. Mr Hall came and installed the valve (in the rain) and made sure we viewed the valve and understood how it works. The price was just as he had estimated. I feel more secure for hurricane season!

They did an beautiful job. I'm so glad I have them as my plumber.

We were very happy with the first time we used Kielty and the second. They have been professional and competent, and we will use them again.

Jon came and gave us an estimate and a time when the job can be done. We opted for a hybrid water heater and so far are very happy. He showed up on the scheduled date and did the job well. He worked clean and was very professional. I would use them again for plumbing.

Plumber was very prompt, did a thorough check to be certain of the problem, fixed the problem, and double-checked to be sure the problem was solved. Price seemed a bit high, though.

Way to expensive! $264.93with $15 coupon. Outrageous !

Was a bit more difficult than expected but the job was done successfully.

The service guy responded to my issue at around 2/2:30 to see what type of water heater we had. I text him the details & he was checking his truck to see what he had. After a bit of time, I text back to see their eta & I was told that they guy had a flat that he was trying to get fixed. After waiting quite some time... I would have thought that they would have sent another repairman but they did not. At 8:30, I finally reached out to The Pampering Plumber & they guy was at my house repairing our water heater at 9:15. I understand people encounter issues but the company should have sent another repairman to fix this issue. I wasted 7 1/2 hours of my time with this. :-(

Very happy with the work completed. I have used RJ Kielty for years and have never had an issue. I trust them completely.

This is the second time I've used them.

They did the work correctly, but they ended up not fixing the issue. There were further adjustments that I just had to do myself. We needed a new valve on the thing, but the issue wasn?t really resolved, so I had to figure out how to adjust it myself. I am glad I have a new valve, but I had to step in and do some of the settings myself. My interactions with them was okay. It?s a big company. It looks fine, they did the job. They could have instructed us a little bit on how to use what they put in, that would have been helpful. They could have better involvement with the client on what they have done and how it works. They didn?t really do that. I would price them with others rather than just use them.

Phil Santoro came to our house, He was timely, pleasant, and efficient. He completed everything we wanted done in much less time than we thought it would require. We will ask for Phil again. Very good experience!

The man was very nice. Everything turned out fine. They didn't try to sell me things I did not need. He said my water heater did not need replacement. He was good and honest. I'm very happy with him. There was no problem, I'm very happy with it, I'm very happy with the gentlemen. It took about 30 minutes for the work to be completed.

The plumber that came out, I have had several different experiences with him. He was helpful and responsive. He actually did the free back flow certification for me because I have had so many problems with their office staff, scheduling and stuff done with the builder. The plumber was good but the office staff was unhelpful and misplaced paperwork and didn't return calls.
