22 months ago we purchased a Garage door Opener from Lowes and paid them to have it installed, since the one we had purchased from Sears 20+ years ago stopped working. The company that installed it was called and quot; Open Sayz Meand quot; I gave them a very good rating and thought they had done a great job. This is for a rental house that we have and take very good care of. Well 22 months later the renter called to say that the garage door opener had fallen out of the ceiling. I immediately called Lowes and they gave me the phone # of and quot;Open Sayz Meand quot;, when I called them said they would charge me but could not come out for 5 days! Again I called Lowes and was told that one of their managers would come out to look at the garage door opener, they NEVER came out! I finally called DGD Garage door company and they came out immediately to reinstall the garage door opener. The tech showed the renter that the initial installation of angle iron and NOT been attached to any studs, they had just stuck it into the drywall! After 22 months of the garage door opening and closing the vibrations had loosed the screws and the unit had fallen. I ask that the tech write on the invoice WHY the opener fell and he did. We sent the bill of $131.00 from DGD Garage Door to Lowes manager, and while they said that they did not owe us anything they agreed to pay $65.00 of the bill. VERY rude company that takes NO responsibility for what their installation company does- what if this had fallen on the car or hit a person!!!!! Am done with Lowes! When the garage door was installed by and quot;Open Sayz Meand quot; the installer gave me a business card and told me that if I wanted anything else installed not to pay Lowes- just call him. Glad That never happened!!!!

Loew's sent an estimator to measure the wall for cabinets. The designer worked with us to select the cabinets and plan the installation. The cabinets arrived right on time in 3 weeks. The installer arrived 2 days later to install the cabinets. All stages of the process worked flawlessly and was done in a very professional manner. Excellent workmanship and design.

I liked the staff very well. They did a good job. The price wasn't bad.

My experience was excellent in all regards. From the beginning to the end, everything was streamlined and went smoothly.

I go to Lowe's as a back up if something is not available at another competitor store. The workers treat you pretty good once you find someone. It's really hard to find help to answer questions or for assistance to get something heavy off a shelf.

They were very neat. Showed up when they were supposed to and were very tidy. The price was attractive also. I bought their best carpet. The installation for the whole place was only $200.

The subcontractors who actually did the installation work did a fine job. The cabinets were generally of high quality but four of the oak wood cabinet doors had nicks or were the wrong design. They had to be replaced. Parts of the order (rolling insert drawers and glides) were missing. It took several months to get things fixed. The quartz silestone countertops were beautiful and installed well, except that the installer put some small nicks in the wall that we had to fix. Overall the product turned out well, but if you want to work with Lowe's you need plenty of patience.

Lowe's sent a company that does not carry them. Since the men were here I looked at their 1.5" slats and decided that they would be better after all. The company was wonderful and did exactly what they said they would. Lowe's was difficult to contact as you had to go through the front desk and often waited a long time and then were told the person you needed wasn't in. I would hire the contractor again but will never special order through Lowe's again. My rating have to do with Lowe's sales and customer support.

They have tremendous patience with on-going customers who ask the same questions over and over. They are always willing to graciously accept returns.

I found this store to be the best of any Lowe's store I could find. They have people who will talk to you, help with advice, pricing, and installation, and they do it right.
