H & H Kitchens and More

It did not go well. Initial deposit was paid in June 2018. contract called for work to be completed in July 2018. Work was not started until August 2018 and there were delays along the way. The work was finished in September and we paid H&H Kitchens in full. Two months later the subcontractor for the granite countertops notified us that H&H Kitchens had not paid them and the granite subcontractor was placing a lien against our property. We were forced to pay $2078 on top of the entire contracted price which had been paid in full in early September 2018. Do not contract with this company. They will take your money and then not pay their subcontractors.

It went terribly. We paid half of the contractually agreed sum of over $10,000 in June. Thereafter, no service was rendered until August. We were then told that the original granite we selected hadn't been paid for, which was curious to us, since we had prepaid sufficient fund for that purpose. That required us spending another full day in for granite which was finally acquired from A&S Granite of Valrico, FL. When the job was begun, progress was slow. Not only was the job mediocre, but Todd Heller and his company H&H Kitchens took our money and failed to pay the granite subcontractor. This led to a lien placed against our house requiring us to pay the amount that we previously paid to H&H Kitchens and More to purchase the granite countertops. The following is an excerpt of a letter sent to me by Chris Ares, owner of A & S Granite, Inc. explaining the illegal and deceitful practices of H & H. "We (A&S Granite) were contracted by H & H Kitchens to install granite countertops at your house for the contracted price of $2428. This job was completed and we have not received full payment from H & H Kitchens after numerous attempts to collect the balance for the project. You, (Richard Walker, Carol Weideman) paid your balance to H & H Kitchens which as a result should then have submitted final and full payment to A & S Granite and Marble, Inc. However from their social media accounts and from what they have told the homeowner is that they are currently working on two projects at this time. This contradicts their stories about insufficient funds to pay us for installing granite countertops in your home. Instead, it appears that they are also taking funds from new customers and still not paying their obligations from previous jobs. In a nutshell, they have been dishonest and deceitful in their practices. At that point the homeowner, you, will handle the responsibility of civil action against H & H Kitchen and/or collecting payments from them. I can no longer hold this obligation as I must file the lien or collect final payment." Todd Heller is essentially a thief since he took my money and continues to take money from new homeowners, but failed to pay his debt to A&S. By doing so he put my home in jeopardy and also required me to pay for the second time, the cost of the granite. This action is tantamount to theft of over $2400 for which I intend to file a police report, as well as reports to the Better Business Bureau, and to initiate legal action against him. THIS IS A WARNING TO AVOID DEALING WITH H&H KITECHENS AND MORE (THE MORE BEING HASSLE WHICH NO ONE WANTS TO EXPERIENCE) Please also note that Todd Heller also uses the name William T Heller and Warren Heller. Does he use several names to avoid being associated with prior unsavory acts?

Outstanding. H&H created a kitchen design that was much nicer and at a lower cost than the other three companies I contacted. We made changes along the way that we're accommodated at low cost and no drama. Workmanship was the best. Fit and finish is perfect everywhere. Even hidden structure was fitted together carefully. We next hired them to remodel our guest bath and laundry room. They came back afterwards to handle a minor issue with out delay or service charge.

Todd was excellent, work was done in a timely manner and cleaned up daily. He beat competitors by quite a bit. We saved enough money to have him start our kitchen as well. My first Great experience with a contractor in Florida.
