I use Gulfcoast Networking for several services. I have an annual contract for support, they host my website, I have anti-virus support through them, and I have a backup service through them. I get both onsite and remote support. Their prices are reasonable, services are thorough and efficient. I have used them for a few years and will continue to use and recommend them.

I brought both the lap top and new printer into their shop on Wednesday, late in the morning, February 4, 2015. It needed multiple issues to be addressed and corrected, as well, as installed. I discussed my computer issues and new printer with the complicated instructions. Rob Marlowe and his wife couldn't have been more courteous and pleasant, considering they were talking to a dummy when it comes to computers and printers. Rob called me about four hours later to say the job was complete. As this was my first time with them, and I found them through Angie's List, they gave me a 10% discount. They are located in downtown New Port Richey just east of Main Street on Grand Blvd. They do have free (no meters) parking right on the street and right in front of their business. Frankly, I prefer to work with someone that I can see in person as opposed to so many computer repair listings that are on Angie's List and based in Texas or Arizona. Rob Marlowe was exactly what I was looking for.

The customer service you will receive from this company is second to none. Rob did what he said he would plus more. Due to my eye doctor appointment running over, I had to delay the appointment. He was very understanding and said to call when I got home. He then came and spent time making sure everything was working properly. He went the extra mile and checked, checked and rechecked to make sure everything was as it should be and more. He answered all my questions patiently and did a lot of extra's. Thank you Rob for the excellent customer service.

Our firm, The PH Advisory Group ( www.ph-sales.com) moved from California to Florida in late 2013. At the time of the move we were remotely using our IT Group located in CA. It became clear that we needed a local group to assist us. We checked Angie's List where we found Gulfcoast Networking. Rob and Tim are mature professionals; they are responsive and are extremely knowledgeable in their respective craft. No guessing, experimenting or delegating to an inexperienced tech who just graduated from trade school - they are hands on. They are more than fair with their fees and recommend them highly.

When I arrived at the shop Rob immediately looked at the laptop to determine the problem. I had incorrectly communicated the problem to Rob but when he determined what was actually wrong he told me it would take a few hours work. "A few hours", what a pleasant sounding term. Prior work with other computer shops took over a week (including shipping to an outside shop). Rob was true to his word. I did a few errands and a few hours later the laptop was fixed. Rob applied the Angie's List - First Time Customer discount to my bill. The normal charge was $75.00 but with the 15% discount and taxes (good old taxes) the total was $68.21. I am very pleased with Gulfcoast Networking, Inc. and would highly recommend them. I will definately use them when I have any future computer problems.

icturesicI needed my picture files and document files from my old computer. My backups were useless with the new computer operating system. Basically , I had lost all my important files when my computer crashed. I removed the old hard drive nad took it to Gulfcoast networking. The data was retrieved in several hours saving my history in pictures and all my old documents. Luckily, my drive was not damaged, so it was a relatively easy chore.

Brought computer into shop to see if it would be possible to repair as I was getting only blank screen. Computer did attempt to boot in safe mode but never completely. I, foolishly had not made backups of my files. Rob checked it out was able to download backup files but computer hard was dying. Fortunately he had a compatible hard drive and installed it. I now have a perfectly operating computer. About a week later I thought I had again a problem in my document files and called Rob, he really made me feel good when he not only fixed it over the phone, but also reassured me it was not something I had caused. Only a problem with an automatic update ad he charged no fee for this. I am extremely pleased with the service, speed and support. He explained it as he was doing it and as I was watching. And he did it in a clear and concise manner,I even recommended him to my daughter and he took care of her problem also. I would give him a double A if I could I was very pleaseD with Rob Marlowe. He goes by 15 min increments and he charges 75 dollars an hour and I was on there with him for a half an hour. He tries to stay within a time frame so that your not charged for the next increment.

I brought my Dell XPS 9100 computer into the shop that morning. Gulfcoast Networking called me back that day at noon to inform me that the heat sink assembly was broken. The part was ordered and the computer was ready in one week. It was a holiday weekend. Great service would highly recommend.

I called GulfCoast Networking and they told me to bring the monitor right over and they would check it out while I waited. They found that a simple adjustment to the monitor fixed the problem. They spent about a half hour on the problem, fixed it and didn't charge me anything. I am amazed at how great the experience was dealing with these people. You can't go wrong hiring them to do your computer work.

I called Rob to set up an appointment. He returned my call and we set it for a Sunday when I could be home to allow him access to my computer through a long distance connection since his company is in New Port Richey and I live in St. Petersburg. He called me on that Sunday and gave me exact instructions of what to do to allow him access. I watched in fascination as the cursor seemed to move all on its own. When Rob was finished, he instructed me to do a few things to make sure I had access to the problems I needed for work. Everything went great and I would definitely use him again.

Overall, my experience was excellent. I now have a new computer service company.

Rob ordered a new computer that is wonderful. I have purchased several computers over the years, and this was by far the best experience I have had...he loaded the software that I already owned, and made sure all files were transfered from the old computer to the new.

I was very pleased with them! They are very trustworthy. I was a customer of their for 5 years before I moved out of state. It was a reasonable price for an excellent product.

I had inadvertently moved a couple of key documents, when I moved pictures to an external hard drive. I called this morning in a panic and was told to bring my laptop in. I can not explain exactly what was done, but Rob was able to resolve the problem while I waited. Gulfcoast Networking has been the network administrator for the email and internet where I work. They have always been professional and extremely patient while I call and explain whatever problem I might be experiencing. I am so grateful that they were open today and able to solve my computer issues this morning. I could not be more pleased with my many experiences with them. Their rates are reasonable. They are courteous and friendly, I am acknowledged and greeted warmly when I enter the store. The shop is clean and bright. I would recommend them highly.

It has been and still is an A++ relationship, having just had email contact with Mr. Marlowe during the first few days of April 2012, in regards to a problem recently experienced with our year old computer. From the start, 1990, to now, Mr. Marlowe, his staff/shop have helped solve glitches in our computer's system. While still living in FL, one incident comes to mind: A virus infected email was opened and our computer went balistic. Telephone help did not get our computer back on tract, so Mr. Marlowe, suggested, while on his way to an appointment, stopping by and looking at it. He did stop at the appointed time and put the computer through its paces but told us after twenty minutes or so that he wasn't sure it could be repaired as it did not even recognize itself. However, he did have one more trick up his sleeve and our computer responded and from that day forward, it worked perfectly. Mr. Marlowe went out of his way and it was greatly appreciated. Even though we are miles apart, we have always maintained a subscription to his NEWSLETTER, which has always been informative, full of good ideas and sites to check out. Now, we have subscribed to his GEEK NOTE, also interesting/informative. And, Mr. Marlowe's most recent endeavor: THE NEW PORT RICHEY PATCH keeps us up-to-date with the events/happenings in the New Port Richey area. It is our opinion/suggestion that if internet service is needed, see Gulfcoast Networking, if computer repair is on the horizon, contact Gulfcoast Networking. And, when we need a new computer, we are definitely going to have Gulfcoast Networking build it. NO DOUBT ABOUT IT!

They were great. I have nothing bad to say about them. They were efficient and honest. They were terrific. I didn’t really have the backup, but they were able to get the stuff off my hard drive onto a new hard drive and that way I didn’t lose everything I thought I had lost. They were able to do that for me. I would use them again in the future.

I hired a local company to remotely uninstall Norton and MacAfee and install a new F-Secure internet security for the company. I have been having issues with the security that they installed on my pc. The computer crashed a second time. I requested the disk for the anti virus program, and the box I was told that there was nothing for me to pick up because it was downloaded remotely. I revived a strongly worded letter saying that I was welcome to pick up the items that I had paid for, that I was threatening him, and that I clearly did not understand what is going on. I called him on the phone today to go over the letter I received, he was not willing to work with me or deal with me. In the letter he states that “I have never had issues with my computer” when I had been calling regularly before it crashed the second time. He because irate and unprofessional on the phone with me and hung up. At this time I chose to share my experience with others.

THIS COMPANY HAS BEEN MY INTERNET SERVICE PROVIDER FOR 6 YEARS WITHOUT ANY INTERRUPTION OF SERVICE. THEY HAVE BEEN QUICK AND RESPONDED TO MY NEEDS, AND THEIR REPAIR WORK HAS BEEN VERY TIMELY.
