Ed Staib Quality Painting

They arrived promptly. Prepared the working area. Clean, neat & efficient. Professional. Worked through the day and were done very timely. All of the holes were filled/ patched where necessarly. We have textured plaster walls and they are well covered and the painting looks fabulous. A great job!

We contacted the company and they came out within a day to provide us with the estimate. Once we agreed, we signed the contract and provided a small downpayment to get on their schedule. We had some work to do to prep for the paint job. They came out within a month and started the job. Unfortunately, they ran into a heavy rain situation and could not work for 3 days. However, they came out on a Sunday and worked ALL day to complete the job. At all times, Ed and Amy were professional and extremely neat. They cleaned up each night and there was not a drop of paint anywhere it shouldn't have been. We will definitely use them again when we are ready to paint the interior of our home. Excellent workers and the house looks beautiful.

The estimate was done promptly. The work was scheduled, they came, they did the work neatly and orderly and as planned. Nice family. Ed noticed that we had holes in our soffits where rats were getting in. Ed has a background in pest control so he gave us advice about what to do about the rats and gave us an estimate for repairing the soffits. Everything was taken care of as scheduled and quickly and effectively. The price for the painting we thought was low compared to other estimates so at first we wondered if we should use this company, but we decided to go ahead. We are glad we did. On the other hand, we thought the price for the soffits was a little high but together the total cost was more than fair. We liked their work and they were very neat and orderly every day.

It was great! Ed was able to work around our crazy schedules and then we had delays due to other work be done and he accommodated as well. The doors look great! They sanded, primed and painted the doors from white to black. They were spotless with their clean up and we would recommend them!

While I did not use Ed Staib Quality Painting. I did have a great experience with them. I called for a quote and they were out the next day and on time. Ed & Amy were very professional and I felt very confident in their expertise, competency and reliability. I decided to go with another company as their quote and the other companies was close to the same. I felt great about both companies and felt pricing was honest and fair. I simply decided to go with the other company as my girlfriend had used them before and I had seen the quality of their work. Had that not been the case I very likely would have chosenEd Staib Quality Painting.

They did a great job, very professional and thorough! The bathroom & hallway look completely transformed. It took 2 days (double wallpaper to remove) and they were on time and left the place clean. I would definitly reccomend them . We are using them again next week for our master bathroom!

We received a last minute quote from Ed. We had a somewhat unreasonable timeline. I would have rather used Ed's but my wife decided her and a friend could paint the 3500 sq ft house in 3 days. We saved some money and they got it done but what a pain.

They were just great. They were attentive and meticulous. There were issues with some of the painting, with one of their employees and they were shocked when they saw the mistakes. With Ed and Amy, they worked to resolve that situation and are lovely people. I would definitely call them again if I needed something else to be painted. They are personable and responsive.

Ed came to my house for an estimate and in a few days I had a quote. We set a start date. His employees were there on time. Ed, his wife and another employee finished the job to our satisfaction.

The work was difficult and demanding because the walls had old wall paper that first had to be removed. The wallpaper was of a thick fiber, multi-layered, and glued to the wall with heavy permanent glue. Other painters who looked at the job turned it down because of the skill and time required to remove the wallpaper. Then the walls had to be prepared for painting by plastering the rough surface to make it smooth. Having a job over a 50 year period and moving between states every two years and having employed many painters over the years, I can without a doubt state that Ed and Amy of Ed Staub Quality Painting are THE BEST IN THE TRADE! Their attention to detail and performing quality work, on time, at a fair price, with a positive can-do attitude was superb. I have never experienced such high quality results before. My standards are very high and as head of Quality Control of one of the nations guality leaders, I give Ed and Any the best grades in all categories used to judge quality work and results. Although not in the contract, they came back after all my furniture was moved in and retouched areas affected by the furniture movers.

I just feel lucky I stumbled upon them. If you need a painter, I HIGHLY recommend them!!

Ed was very professional from the time of the estimate to completion of the job. I thought that his estimate was fair. He did a good job of both cleaning and preparing the surfaces and applying the paint. He was dependable and neat and finished the job in the time he estimated. He was good to work with and did what he said that he was going to do. Overall, it was a good experience and I would use him again.

Came out & gave us a written estimate and arrived on time. Once we dediced on Ed & Amy, they gave us a date they would be here to pressure wash and fill in all cracks, tape etc. Very professional, showed up on time to begin painting. Beautiful job, very professional. Would recommend him to my best friend. Very satisfied. He said it his policy to return anytime within two years to do touchup.

I contacted Ed on 3/9/11 to see about getting a quote for a painting job. I explained that I had just had the kitchen/dinning area remodled and wanted to have the painting done a.s.a.p. Three adults staying basically in one room for 4 weeks gets real old... anyway, Ed agreed to meet me at 8:00 the next morning. He emailed me the quote of $425.00 plus materials of around $155.00 that very same day. I contacted Ed and said I wanted the job done. He came back that evening so that I could pick out the color paint and paint types I wanted. Knowing that I really wanted it done as soon as possible, Ed and his wife Amy agreeded to do the job on Sunday! The work was all done in one day...holes fixed, primered, walls, ceiling, trim and doors all painted! The rooms look great! No heavy paint smell and I never know a neat painter before. I plan on using Ed and Amy in a couple of weeks for another room. And this time I will give him a little more notice.

It went perfectly. Called to get an estimate from Ed, he came the next day and walked around the house with me. He video taped portions of the house so he had an idea of what was needed when he wrote out my estimate. He came back with the estimate two days later. His price was fair to both of us, so we signed the contract to get it painted. He and Amy (his wife) started pressure washing and scraping a few days later. What a job, turned out my Dad was the only one who had painted it in the last 30 years so there was only two coats of paint on the house and it was pealing off without any problems. Ed pressure washed and much of the paint just fell to the ground. They spent at least one whole day fixing any crack issues, scraping, patching and generally making the house sound for painting. It took approximately two days to get the whole place painted and it turned out amazing. The color is a green gray that sometimes looks green, sometimes gray, and sometimes blue depending on the light. Ed even painted the chimney to match - wow! Amy was amazing, she was up and down on the ladder all day getting all the cut in work and it looks it - she was a perfectionist and it showed. Finished up a couple of days again, right on schedule and came in at the price agreed upon. I will definitely have them back to do some inside painting next time. Their name and card went in my list of favorite contractors and people to call. Thank you Ed and Amy - we love the house.

We were quite satisfied with him. He and his wife worked together. Both of them were very pleasant, and the work they did was very nice. We were very pleased with them.

Ed returned my initial call immediately and arranged a time to come look at the room. He and his wife Amy, a team, looked at the room at the appointed time and provided me with a quote and we settled on a date for the job. They were very punctual. They extremely thorough with the prep work; removing the stubborn wall paper, filling all the nail holes, repairing the walls where necessary. They came with the right tools and used the right primer. I indicated that strong smells may cause my son headaches and they suggest the right low odor/low VOC paint and primers and even vented the room through the window with a fan they brought while they worked. The paint job is very even, there were no drips and the cut in was extremely neat (not easy on textured walls). I couldn't have been more pleased!

Ed and Amy painted the exterior of our house. . They painted everything and with extreme care. Nothing was too hard or insignificant to them. They didn't try to influence our choices and were very positive. Very enjoyable to have around. It looks gorgeous. They went above and beyond what we had expected in several particulars.

Ed and Amy did a great job painting the decorative wrought iron and attaching it to the outside of the house. They took great care and it looks really nice, Where the piece attached to the house, they touched up the house paint, too. I would recommend Ed and Amy for any paint job - large or small.

Ed Staib's painting crew scheduled quickly, arrived right on time, and completed an entire room in one day, as promised. The room included two different wall colors (2 coats each), all trim, doors, and closet. They did everything - moving the furniture, even cleaning some wall mold that was behind some furniture. They provided all paint - making it easy for us!

They are terrific. They are neat and tidy. I have used them few times. They are reasonable and will work hard to get the project done. They are excellent.
