DJL SURVEYING

Hired and paid 750.00 for survey needed tie in and elevation certificate done they are closed, abruptly shut doors. Money gone screwed by the bible thumpers Angie's list needs to remove these folks.

The surveyors showed up on time and completed the work as requested. However before they left they presented a preprinted invoice for $200 more than what they had quoted me on the phone. I had reviewed the price with them over the phone twice and they verbally broke out the amounts by item (Elev Cert, Boundary Survey, Drawings with house included) and then when they completed the survey they wanted payment for a different amount. I called several times before I finally spoke to Don and he said he would look into it and get back with me. He never called back and I had to call them back 10 days later only to be told that since I didn't get it in writing from them that the price was the higher amount. The only breakout on the invoice showed the elevation cert which they listed as $50 less than what they quoted... yet the bill was $200 more. The point here is that they do not honor their pricing quotes and they don't see where that is a problem. I recommend that if you need a surveying company in the Pasco county area that you stay away from DJL because of their business practices and lack of response to customers issues.
