BE WARNED! of Amy's Community Florist MINIATURE DEAD FLOWERS for Our Anniversary I ordered 2 separate floral arrangements for my wife for our anniversary through 2 separate wire services. One Beautiful Arrangement from FTD for $88.79 One Beautiful Arrangement from TeleFlora for $73.97 Total Spent $162.76 One small dollar store type vase of poor supermarket "SPECIAL" clearance style wilted flowers was delivered to our home with no flower food (FloraLife, Crysal) to try & revive them. Shortly thereafter I received two Delivery Confirmation Notifications One from FTD at 4:06pm One fron TeleFlora at 4:07pm ONE MINUTE APART Initially, I had no idea who delivered the one order we did receive. The driver was a polite gentleman in an unmarked car. I called both FTD & TeleFlora and NEITHER would tell me the Flower Shop that received my purchase orders. Both services have difficult to communicate with Customer Service Representatives. I was placed on hold and both services told me they spoke with the "Designer" at the Flower Shop who promised they sent "The BEST THEY HAD" and both deliveries were said to have been delivered IN PERSON. After much frustration, placed on holds, call backs and finally notifying both FTD & TeleFlora I would be placing a STOP PAYMENT on my credit card BOTH wire services agreed to a full refund. I must say FTD was much more professional and sent me a full refund confirmation email though it has not yet processed to my bank. TeleFlora however initially offered me 20% DISCOUNT on my next purchase (like that's ever going to happen), when I refused they offered a 30% PARTIAL REFUND. As soon as I let them know I was going to begin recording the call and would need them to restate reasons for denying a FULL REFUND and my next call would be the stop payment, then they processed a full refund which hit my account immediately. So being fairly satisfied with the wire services making it right even though it took some effort and my wife ended up with something that looks to belong in a 5 gallon bucket & sold on the side of the road in the hot sun it was time to find out who this "florist" is who ruined my day. I wasn't aware that Flowers Shops could use two services much less that there could be a possibility of the same shop receiving BOTH of my orders. So I hate to post a negative review but if it saves another person from getting RIPPED OFF I certainly will. Here's the worst part that I REALLY found to be UNBELIEVABLE after seeing my negative review on another site, Amy B. (Business Manager) posted a reply: "I am so sorry you are unhappy with your flowers. Please call the shop as soon as possible so we can rectify the problem." Here's a tip: If you're in business & place VALUE on Your Customers, and YOU MESSED UP, made a mistake or simply got CAUGHT, Make the effort to make it right. A phone call & apology go a LONG WAY. I decided I was going to spend the same amount of time that it takes me to EARN $162.76 making Amy's Community Florist of New Port Richey, Florida as FAMOUS as I possibly could.
