We purchased a new truck and arrived home to find that it wouldn't fit in the garage due to it's size. I found A Plus Overhead Garage Doors and called. The same day we had an adjustment made to our door and the truck fits like a charm. Wow, what a relief. We were so pleased to have such wonderful service and the same day to boot. I will keep A Plus Garage Doors in my phone for any further work. We couldn't be happier.

Discovered our garage door wouldn't open on a weekend morning. Called the number for the original installer (from many years ago) and found that A Plus had taken over his business. He called right back and said he'd be right here. The main spring on our heavy, hurricane-proof door had broken. He fixed it, checked out the opener and door, didn't try to sell us anything else, was courteous and friendly, and finished within an hour of our call. His charge was reasonable and we highly recommend him.

It went great. 2:30PM Monday I called A Plus Overhead, spoke to Brian, who had Jim call me, who showed up at my garage door Monday evening by 5:30PM, who then commenced to reviving the garage door with the required maintenance, which did not require new parts. Prompt, professional, pleasant with a reasonable price. Thanks, Jim!

Early on Thursday, January 14th was a very chilly morning. I had opened the garage door with no issue & dragged down my trash can to the curb. I went back in the garage, and pressed the button to close the door. When the door started to close, it abruptly stopped, went back up, and the indoor light blinked. All symptoms of something too close to the garage door opening, but there was NOTHING in the way. I called the 24 hour line, and spoke to a nice gal to describe the issue. She advised that a technician would call me shortly. Within 5 minutes, Jim T. called me back. As I described the symptoms, he asked me to press and hold the garage door opener button until the door closed completely. It closed!! (thank goodnes, did I mention it was cold!) Jim advised that the "electronic eye" sounded like the culprit, and that he'd be out later in the afternoon to check it out. He was right - I had allowed something to hit one of the sensors, and although the offending item had been moved, it had caused the issue. I was a little embarrassed have having caused my own problem, but Jim was very kind about re-aligning the sensors, and the garage door has worked like a charm ever since. Oh, by the way, Jim REFUSED payment for the service call. He totally understood the situation, and it only took him a few moments to identify and fix the problem. We will definitely use A Plus Overhead Garage Doors and Openers Inc. again in the future!

Steve came out promptly after I made a call for my garage door to be repaired. He was friendly, professional and made suggestions to extend the life of my garage door.

We had an emergancy. Our double door would not open, We had a broken spring. The motor on the double door burned out. After talking with my husband we decided to replace both openers, and wheels. Now we won't have to worry as much when the summer storms come. They were prompt, a family owned business, Truthful, and efficient.

The technician arrived promptly at the agreed upon appointment time and professionally performed the requested work. He also without having to be asked completed a comprehensive preventative maintenance inspection of the entire garage door opener mechanism and lubricating all parts as required; at no additional cost. Great experience overall!

Overall, I would give them higher than an A, if I could. His work was exemplary. His manners with customers were excellent. If anyone ever needed any type of garage door or garage door opener work, I would HIGHLY recommend him. I use Angie's List to find vendors like them.

They are very reliable and come right out, I've used them in the past. They are very fast, will come quickly and are very responsive.

Their technician came out and immediately identified the problem and fixed it right away. They were professional and I m very satisfied with their service.

Jim did a great job. Only complaint ran about an hour and a half late and had to call him to find out where he was, and if he was coming, but still a very good job at a fair price.

A week or so ago I called and left a message, with my phone number, that I am interested in an estimate on garage door replacement. I did not receive a call back. Also, I went to the address listed for them, 9438 US 19 in Port Richey, only to discover a "mailboxes" business at that address.

He did a great job for a reasonable fee.

Jim was called on Saturday and he provided an estimate. He said that he would be at our home after making another stop. He was at house within the hour. Jim was very professional and charged us exactly what he quoted to us on the phone. In addition, with the electrical switch Jim had told me that it wasn't working. He showed me exactly what was wrong with the switch. Jim told me I could pick one at any home improvement store. He told me he could but he would have to charge me 20 dollars for the switch. I asked him to change it for me. There was no pressure and I would highly recommend A plus to do work. In the future if I have any problems with my garage door I will be calling A Plus.

This was a great experience. They were professional, on time, and stayed in line with their estimate.

Arrived within 4 hours of initial call (originally quoted a response time of two hours but then called again reporting that they would be delayed), quickly determined the problem once they arrived, advised us that we did not need any new equipment, just a cleaning and adjustment. Charged for a service call ($60), very professional and honest.

They didn't return my first call, but responded to my second call. They arrived a little late for both the estimate and the actual work. They were polite, neat, courteous, friendly and accommodating to our needs and questions. They did a professional job with a quality product. We are very satisfied with this firm and will surely call them again should the need arise. Also, we inquired as to whether we needed an entire new garage door and were told we didn't. A less scupulous person could have taken advantage of us for sure.

The worker was late but was very polite and clean. Mess was picked up, and the job was thorough.

I WAS THRILLED THAT THEY REPAIRED MY DOOR IN LESS THAN 12 HRS AFTER MY INITIAL CALL. Springs on garage door broke and I was unable to open it and could not get my car out. Company that installed it did not return my call. I tried A-Plus and they promised they would repair it that day. He already had a busy workload but came at 7 pm that night and repaired it quickly and pleasantly. I will certainly call this company if I need further assistance."
