Tripp was very prompt in returning my call and showing up timely for his initial visit and consultation. He is a very friendly gentlemen and was very professional in all the things he repaired. I actually look forward to seeing him again!

I chose this individual based on the good reviews on this page. My experience was disappointing. He seemed friendly on the phone, but then did not return phone calls or set up a rescheduling as promised when could not show up on the agreed upon date. I find it disheartening when a business person doesn't follow through and professional courtesy would dictate that if you can't do a job for any reason, simply be honest and tell the person the reason - you're too busy, you're sick, you have a family emergency, but don't just say - I'll call or be by tomorrow - and then never call or show up. Thank you. Update as of March 2015: I just saw that the provider responded to me back in August and I appreciate his acknowledgement and apology. I would have to assume my experience was an anomaly based on the vast majority of approvals from other individuals. Regardless, the fact that he did respond in a professional and polite manner to my review is appreciated.

Trip was very responsive to my initial contact. He was friendly and easy to work with. He expressed that he had no problem helping us with our bathroom renovation, where we would be doing some of the work ourselves, but needed him to do some. We also have a contractor friend who ended up helping us too at the last minute. Initially, Trip was going to install a custom shower (including shower pan, Durarock only, prepping to tile) and replace missing drywall in the rest of the bathroom and mud/sand. Because of our other friend's help, he ended up just doing the drywall. He did an okay job, but we were not completely satisfied with the quality and would not trust him to do a major project with no oversight. On the plus side, he noticed that we were missing a crucial piece of our plumbing, and spent time driving around town to find the part. However, he overlooked a few things that we think are important. My husband managed to catch him before he put drywall on the exterior wall without putting insulation up first. After Trip finished the whole job, my husband had to go back and re-mud an area around the window, as it was not smooth at all. Trip also forgot to spray the popcorn texture on a piece of ceiling, as we had discussed, so we had to do that before painting. Overall, he is a nice guy and was flexible to work with. If it's basic handyman work you need, he'd probably do a good job. But in the future, we will call someone with more experience if we need major projects like drywall or bathroom work.

Everything was great! He showed up on time, he did the job in the advertised time - it was not an easy job, replacing a ceiling fan on a 20 ft ceiling, working above his head most of the time. The fan works great. I thought his price was more than reasonable for the degree of difficulty. He cleaned up the mess when he was done. I got the added benefit of talking baseball a little bit with him while he worked. He was friendly, polite, professional, and knew what he was doing. I would hire him again without hesitation, and I intend to recommend him to the folks I work with.

He did a great job, but had trouble getting a window due to its unusual size but found a suitable replacement.

Trip returned my call for service very quickly. We set an appointment for him to come and evaluate what needed to be done. Trip showed up on time and was very professional. We scheduled a day for the repairs to be completed and he was available the following week. Trip arrived on time the day of the repairs, was very proficient, expedient and provided quality service. The light fixture he repaired, we were actually expecting to be replaced as we thought it was un-repairable, but he fixed it and saved us a few hundred dollars. He was professional, did a quality job and very reasonable for pricing. I anticipate calling Trip for future work and have recommended him to my friends and family. His work for me included electrical, carpentry and finishing work...all done perfectly.

We recently had our kitchen totally remodeled, new cabinets, countertops, and appliances. I found Trip's company "I Can Do That" listed under Handymen, had extremely good reviews. I needed someone to reconnect everything on the "wet" side of the kitchen, i.e. new faucet, re-install dishwasher & disposal. I contacted Trip, we agreed on a price & date. He showed up about an hour later than expected due to his daughter missing the bus & he had to take her to school, but he did have the courtesy to call and explain, a rare occurrence these days! ( I assured him that was perfectly fine). Upon arrival he got right to work, getting everything done that I had requested in short order. I asked Trip if he could also install the new overhead light also, which of course, he did. I was very pleased with Trip's work & would absolutely recommend him to anyone needing work done. I believe he could handle pretty much anything, and I definitely plan to use his services again in the future. Give him a call, you will NOT regret it!

It did not go well. They didn't know what they were doing. Half the time they wouldn't show up when they were supposed to be there. It was only supposed to take 8 days to do the job and they took 2 months to do it. They were supposed to be giving me the receipts but they didn't give me those. Half the things that they were using were old. It was a mess. I just happened to go over there and I was watching what they were doing and they were just not doing it right, they have to go over 8 times to get it right. It was a nightmare. I tried to get a hold of them and when I did, they were always giving me excuse why he wasn't there. They broke things and they were supposed to fix it but they didn't. I ended up having to fix them myself. They didn't finish the job.

They're the guys I ended up going with to do majority of my project. So far, I would rate them very well. The quality of the work is good. His pricing has been phenomenal. He did a really good job installing the doors. Right now, he's busy on my master bathroom working in stages.

They are phenomenal. He is a lifesaver. He knows what he is doing. I call him for anything. His price is $40 an hour. he is here on time, honest and a nice man. I have been home alone with him and felt safe. I would recommend him to anyone.

I called for estimate and the gentleman came out right away and gave estimate. He came on day that we agreed upon. He fixed all that was asked of him. The wall where he put new drywall came out very nice. He put primer on it and you cannot tell where he replaced it.

I am currently purchasing a foreclosure and am new to the area. So I decided that Angie's list would provide me with the best possible referrals. I believe that I made a great decision by becoming a member. The home inspection on the foreclosure revealed some dry rot on the chimney and garage door frame. I reviewed and called two handymen on Angie's list. Trip called me back two days later. We met at the house he gave me an estimate and repaired the damage the following day. I asked him to do several other projects in the house but he declined and gave me a good referral for the major work. I appreciated his honesty and his recommendations. Once I close, I plan to call him back to the home and have him work on a few more projects.

Superb worker. I had numerous odd jobs which took Trip about 3 days to complete. I originally was only going to use him for a few jobs, but he was so good that I was able to have him do a few extras. Trip worked at a nice pace, he charges $40 per hour, throughout the day. His flat rate instead of a per job rate makes his work very affordable. Excellent handyman contact.

He didn't get discouraged when the bolts were frozen on the kitchen sink fixture and the toilet needed special washers.... he jumped into his truck and went and got the parts he needed. Very happy with his work

.I last used them 2 or 3 weeks ago. He put in a stove, cut the cabinets so it would fit and cleaned up. He was very good. He also did all the wiring. I would recommend him to my friends. It went very well. He was a very hard worker. He was friendly and it looks great.

I left him a voice mail on a Sunday. He called back on Monday morning and came to assess the job the same day. he measured for the doors. He picked the doors up when they were ready and in stalled them as agreed..

Needed some quick repairs performed on my home. Very responsive and great price! Highly recommend.

Trip showed up on time and did a wonderful job. He was able to tell me what to get so I could purchase the materials. He put in goregous subway tile all around my kitchen backsplash. He also moved an electrical outlet that was in the way. The backsplash is fantastic and Trip was professional and very competent. I will call him again.

He managed to match the repairs in the acoustic ceiling perfectly to the existing ceiling. He is very, very honest.

"Trip", the owner, is a really cool guy. I was a bit disappointed in how long it took for the estimating process to complete and the project to get started. It took about two and a half weeks from when I called him to when he started. This isn't horrible, though, he had other responsibilities, but I was in an extreme rush and made that clear from the first conversation. I was prepared to do it myself and the whole process felt overly casual considering the urgency I was dealing with. He also worked about six hours per day, and I only managed to get the project completed in time because me and the wife finished the trim and paint over night and before the deadline the next day. A few times, also, I had to call him when he'd miss one of the callbacks we agreed upon. My wife was giving me strife about it. When we first talked he was going to have someone help him, but apparently that fell through. To be fair though, Trip was the first to respond out of the three contractors I called, and he did make an honest effort to beat my deadline. I think if I did not have such a tight deadline, which is not his fault, then I would see this differently. In all, his responses were not immediate, but they were reasonable, and I am probably being unfair to criticize him on these points.. but I felt I should write it anyway, just in case you're in a tight spot. In terms of quality, he get's an A+. Trip is meticulous in his work, which brings the costs up, but the results are worth it. He cut zero corners and genuinely tried to implement the best solution to each problem. When he finished everything was exactly as it should be, not one thing for me to critique really. But, you pay for that meticulousness, everything takes considerably longer, and Trip charges a professional's rate, not the $10-20/hour I'm used to paying for labor. But, its totally worth it, he has every tool and spends the time he should be spending on each part. Trip has a real command of his craft, and his skill set is very broad. "We can do that" is pretty accurate and I'd feel comfortable giving any job to him. But, he did not paint and he did not do trim. I really don't think we even discussed those things, I just assumed he would be doing it. Most handy men are the same way, though, they don't trim or paint, but I was disappointed to be doing trim at 4am trying to get it finished. One SUPER good thing about Trip is that he cleaned, constantly, and thoroughly. He didn't leave so much as a spec of debris in my house. He swept, mopped, scrubbed, and his work area was spotless. That's a huge deal to me. Bottom line, hire Trip if you have plenty of time for the project. I don't think anyone will do a better job. If you're in a tight spot, consider alternatives, but he's still a reasonable choice. Thanks, Luke

He was very nice and professional - he completed the work timely; cleaned up after the job and took a check as payment. After he reviewed his receipt for expenses (one day later); he realized he over charged me and brought by cash for the difference. Very nice and I would use his services again.

he arrived as scheduled. I stood by and observed to learn how to fix the gates next time and he was very helpful in showing/teaching me what to do.

I called Trip after getting his name from Angie's list. He answered my call and came out the next morning and gave me an estimate for the jobs I needed done. He also gave me information on the materials I would need to purchase, which was very helpful. He returned in two days and started the job. He worked four hours the first day to complete the tub surround and facets. He returned the second day and completed the removal of the counter top and basin. Installed new ones, and did some extra jobs for us. Trip was punctual and was very professional. He did an excellent job. I felt the price was fair for the amount of work he did. I highly recommend him.
