These people are only interested in selling you a new generator even when you don't need a new one. Further, their office manager Km could not be more rude or arrogant. Avoid these people like the plague!

West Coast Generators takes pride in their reputation & work. This is why we are the longest running & most sought after generator company in all of SWFL. That being said, we always try our hardest to repair & help our communities generators. The plenum issue in Mr. [Member Name Removed],s unit is ONLY reparable with a specific tool that Generac gave out to specific dealers, we were not one of them. There is a dealer in town who did do the training (by invite only) but refuses to help customers & keeps sending them to us. We explained this to Mr. [Member Name Removed], but he was still upset. We wish there was more we could do. He should call Generac regarding his Plenum issue.

Came to the house to inspect the generator. Took the carburetor with him to repair. After several weeks he came back on a moment's notice and reinstalled the rebuilt carburetor. The generator is working fine. While at the house the second time, he stated he was a licensed electrician. I asked him and he confirmed that he could install a timer in a 4-way switch circuit. The timer worked for about a month and then stopped working. I called the office several times over a 3 month period and e-mailed him. I only was able to contact Ashley, his assistant, who said he would call back. He never did. I have had the timer removed so I cold at least use the lights.
Description of Work: Repaired a 6000 watt portable generator. Also installed a timer for outdoor lights.
