Description of Work: Please see my report on General Remodel. It is very detailed. Please do not hire Waara Contracting. He would drop out of contact, the longest was one month. He did not return phone calls, He overcharged by thousands of dollars then wanted more $. I hired an attorney fianlly. My attorney had another contractor go over paperwok and checks. It was determined that I had been grossly overcharged and work was ok, but still not up to par. There are things in my home that are still not complete. He would come, do one thing and have an "emergency" leave and drop out of sight.

Description of Work: Waara was hired to remodel my entire house. Things went fine for awhile then people were questioning the amount of money he was charging me since they knew I had no experience in this. This is the first time I ever had hired a contrac tor looking back made some poor decisions. He was personable and I believed what he said however things drug on for 3 years. I would phone him and receive no response and he would drop out of sight. The longest was 1 month. He continually came up with excuses why he did not call me back. When I attempted to finish the little things in the home he would come and complete 1 thing, then say he had emergency and I would not see him again. He had completed extra work in the house, but I really felt I was being charged to much so I retained an attorney. He had another contractor come to the house and review paperwork and work that was completed and estimated that I had been way overcharged.
