Truly Nolen Pest & Termite Control of Naples, Florida

I have been thrilled with their personnel and job performance.

I've been using Truly Nolan for years. Whenever I have an ant problem, which occasionally happens, I call and someone is at my home right away.

We have had an annual contract with Truly Nolan for the past 7 years. They are always responsive. We have the same tech for each quarterly service. Very polite and responsive.

They came and found the problem. This is when we bought the house and we were re-doing it. We found something, we didn't know what it was. We called them and we showed them what the problem was. They knew exactly what it was and what caused it. We had big headed ants. I left them for a while and tried a couple of different companies but I went back to them because I think the way they use their chemicals is probably safe. I walk around with them when they spray and so, I know what they do and what they don't do. They don't spray things where you are going to touch them or the kids are going to crawl through.

Had a pretty decent relationship with the sales guy and the first person who did the pest services. They sent out another person several months ago for pest control and he is very condescending in conversations. Here's how I would rate the Pest Control Ants - B. They would be responsive and come out and service the ghost ant issues, but I would find them in other areas after the service was done. Roaches - D. They would place traps, sticky pads, but basically punted and said there's nothing they can do other than have the house completely sealed or the roaches will get in. They came out to service the roaches one time and it got much worse the week after. Lawn Care The technician guy is really a great guy. I don't know why, but the front strip in front of my house by the sidewalk and the back yard didn't really ever get better than what it was over a year ago. Professionalism/Customer service: I'd say they are overall very responsive from the sales guy to the techcnician, but I didn't see the results enough to warrant keeping the service. I had an issue with the condescending talk from the newer pest control guy as well and the biggie was that I cancelled the service yesterday, and today I woke up to a "W**" text from my sales guy. I sure would have been fired if I sent one of my customers a "W**" message in any capacity. So I don't know "W**" is up with that, but Truly Nolan needs to invest in some customer service/communication training.

Service started strong. I felt the initial treatments were thorough. Follow ups not so much. I terminated the lawn and ornamental treatment about six months into the program opting for a company that specializes in outdoor lawn care. I seemed to have trouble getting interior quarterly treatments scheduled. I feel like since I prepaid the contract they weren't interested in providing the service I paid for. I called on two off schedule occasions to report insect activity. The first I reported ant activity at several locations in the house. Rep came in and I showed him the dead insects. I left him to treat the house. I don't know if he did or not. I thought he was going to his truck to get supplies only to find out he left. On another occasion I called to report finding three dead c*** roaches at three locations inside the house. I was told if they're dead it's working and if I see any living clock roaches I should call back. I recently got online to look at my Truly Nolan account and saw I was being billed $105 for an interior treatment but there was nobody in the home the day the treatment was reportedly performed. I emailed them to question the service charge and received an email response that they were "investigating". I heard nothing in a week so I followed up with a second email. It's been three weeks now and still no response. In retrospect I would NOT sign an annual contract.

Wonderful service, and effective. They were the second ones we used, after the first just couldn't seem to rid our home of any visitors. The other service would only give you 30 days for a free follow-up treatment, and somehow it was always after that period that the pests made themselves known again. We signed a contract with Nolen and have been remarkably free of intruders ever since. They are very responsive to any issues we have and are normally back at the house immediately. It took awhile to happen, but the other service had well over a year and didn't get it done. Nolen did it in just a couple of months. Would highly recommend.

I purchased a plan and paid them for the year. They had a lot of good reviews in the area and they do a lot of business in the area. The previous owner was using them also. Their pricing was probably the most competitive. The young lady who came and did the first application told me she would put in for a two week follow up, but they never called me.

They were hired by my home inspection company and my home inspection company arranged for at time that the both of them would be out there. Truly Nolen forgot about the appointment and didn't show up. When I asked my home inspection company about this just before they left they called Truly Nolen and asked when they would arrive. They didn't know but would send someone as soon as possible. My home inspection company left and I sat waiting for Truly Nolen. Because I didn't hire them directly, I didn't have a contact number or anything. I just had to wait! They arrived about 30 minutes after my home inspector had left. The Truly Nolen gentleman wasn't apologetic or friendly. He gave off the strong impression that he was annoyed by the fact that he had to be there. What really made me upset was half way through the inspection he asked when the home inspectors would arrive because he wanted to go over a few things with them. I told him that he missed the original appointment and that the home inspectors had already left. I feel like that I didn't get the full benefit of the inspection because they weren't there together. Neither my home inspection company or Truly Nolen ever apologized for the inconvenience or less then stellar performance. I'm sure it's a bigger company and with many employees. I would caution using them and consider another company first.

The service persons were nice, however when they arrived we told them we wanted a 1 time treatment since I was unemployed. They called the office and then confirmed the price and a 1 time treatment. We then get an invoice showing we owed them for 2 months at $36.00 each since we did not take the maintenance. Basically they were charging us for 2 treatments that we would never received. The sales person on the phone was rude and finally removed the charges and said we would part ways and hung up. Go with the little guys, they care more about keeping their customers than large commercial companies.

It has worked out very well. The technician they have takes the time to identify the problem and do the best to solve it.

The initial service performed was good. I used Truly because I didn't have to do the whole "tent" thing. My problem is the service followup before the year end contract ended. The new person who now does my area, no call no show to the appt. I called him and he was home and forgot. When he did come out it was nearly dark and he did not look under the crawlspace for the underground termites (which I forget now what they are called). I called the supervisor at this service and told him he could not even see because he came out and it was nearly dark and want another service call. This time I removed the bricks, in case the reason he did not look before was he could have been lazy to remove the bricks to look under the crawlspace, so I did this job for him. I did not renew the contract. I felt I did not get the service that I paid for that was in the contract price. My big reason to go with Truly again, is because you don't have to do the tent thing like most all companies want to do with the dry wood termite, and the termites did go away after the spray. However, when another swarm came in fall of 2013, they did come back in the home, which is what prompted the phone call. There were no droppings (evidence) of swarm again, I felt to remedy that situation is to ensure windows and doors are shut and keep the a/c on. It seemed to work.

The technician arrived on time, was professional, and answered any questions we had.

They come quarterly and whenever I have a bug issue. The person who services our home (Wilfrid) is extremely courteous and thorough.

I called the number to obtain additional information. The representative, Jolene wanted my contact information right away. When I asked her for additional information on the services and pricing structure. She indicated "we do not give pricing over the phone." Well AL or not, if I cannot get some sort of disclosure on a range of pricing (I recognize pricing depends on issues) I am not interested in an organization that needs to "get in the door" to provide basic information. No Truly Nolen for me.

I don' t always see them to come inside but if I call they come the next day.

He is the service person that has serviced us for the last two years has been very professional and helpful in answering questions.

I cannot comment on the price at all but they are very responsive when we need to call them out and do their best to please all of the owners.

. We have been very happy with their service and whenever we call the office our needs are met the same day or the next day. Our routeman, George, is awesome and is extremely helpful if we encounter a problem.

I have a yearly contract with them so they come out 3 times a year and whenever I call with a problem. The technician is very knowledgeable, punctual, and courteous.

Our regular service person goes above and beyond to give us feedback and keep us informed about his service.

Environmentally sensitive treatment of inside and outside our home keeps us bug free and our pet safe. Years ago, living on the East Coast, we were covered by another company for subterranean termites but found Dry Wall termites, recommendation was to tent our 6,500 sq ft home and inject very toxic chemicals & no guarantee. We called Truly Nolen: treatment non toxic, children and pets (and us) safe to remain in home, annual contract guarantee. I contacted them when we moved to Naples. I have a card with my Truly Nolen provider's phone number. Environmentally safe treatment outside monthly, inside annually, and termite contract that covers ALL types of termites. TRULY NOLEN -Truly the BEST.

They treated for ants. We have no more ants. We have used Truly Nolan for years. The same person comes every time and does a wonderful job. We are always well informed about arrival times.

.If I ever need an in between treatment (which has been rare) they always take care of me. I appreciate the guarantee they have on the termite treatment which gives you additional piece of mind. I have both pest and termite protection. I would use no one else!
