Description of Work: I would normally not comment due to a negative experience I had with a tile setting co. that was referred by Angie's List, but because of the excellent job that Suncoast Custom Pools did I am giving this response. From start to finish the job went extremely well. The construction manager (Josh) was great. He always made himself available to answer any questions and finished the job within the timeline he estimated. I did not find this co. through Angie's List. It was through word of mouth.

Description of Work: 10 days later and no one returned our msg, seems to be a trend with them. We wanted to get a quote on getting a pool and cage constructed as we're ready for our new pool. So I can't judge them by their work..., but no response = no service. Take heed.

Description of Work: Service was not performed. We wanted a quote for a new swimming pool and office receptionist said that Josh would call to arrange a convenient time. No call!

Description of Work: Because we were putting a new pool into an existing lanai area, we knew this would potentially be more complicated than installing an inground pool on an open piece of land. Here, the original pool cage had to be removed/replaced, the entire decking (pavers) had to be removed, and the large inground spa, also removed. Also, several large trees, plantings, etc. would be affected. When we started the bidding process, we spoke with 3 different pool contractors. One arrived one hour late for the appointment (no courtesy phone call to let us know that he would be delayed), one arrived punctually but presented a rather disagreeable attitude (not seeming to be very interested in the job), and also quoted us a price we felt was too high. He also told us that the entire project could take as long as 3 months. (This was not going to be a large pool, by any standards.) The third meeting was with Josh McKenna with Suncoast Pools. Here, the experience was entirely different. First, the bid was far less than the previous. Second, we were told that the entire project could take 5 weeks, although Josh suggested that it could take less time (it did!). Once we committed to use Suncoast, Josh "held our hand" the entire time, helping us with the design/scale/materials/approvals, etc. etc. If we ever had any questions regarding the job, his response was immediate, either by phone or by email. Never was there a delay regarding scheduling of different contractors; if the "pool cage guys" were scheduled to show up at a certain time, they were on time. Everyone was very professional and accommodating. And because this was our first experience having a pool, whenever we felt unsure about what was taking place in our backyard, the men working on the project would explain the process, or Josh would quickly respond with a phone call. I have absolutely no complaints and know that I would recommend Suncoast to anyone who is considering either putting in a new pool or upgrading an existing pool.

Description of Work: We met with Josh Mc and he said you will swim in 30 days..... Listen up, we were swimming in 16 days....His timing, organizing, and emailed schedules were RIGHT ON........... The crews were very professional, worked hard and were on time... When Josh said this will happen today or that will be in 2 days, it was gospel..... He would stop by every 2 or 3 days to check up with the progress and offer words of wisdom and we could relax with all of the work and noise being done. His paver people and tile people were top notch.... Then big John takes over with his service crews, who are knowledgable and friendly.... A job well done !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Description of Work: The guy that came out to give us an estimate, started talking bad about other companies, that's no the way to do business, I gave the job to another company, they are doing the job as the promised, no hidden fees like this company has, IF I WERE YOU, I STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY, BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE, and I have heard from other people that they have had some problems with this company before.
