Michael did very good work. He explained the issues and how his treatment would work. He also taught us about our travertine tile and how large pits could be refilled and overall polished. He was on time and did the work efficiently

Some of the tile floors were 'color' sealed a more expensive process while others (darker grouted areas) were simply cleaned and sealed. We also had 3 large areas of marble counters/tub surround in bathrooms polished and refinished with sealer. The previous owner had totally used horrid, high acid products for 13 yrs. There was absolutely no shine left, no real protective finish left on what was once beautiful Creama Marfa and Emperador Dark marble! Now they are just gorgeous! Definitely protected from further damage these countertops will look beautiful for a long time. Micheal from Sons of Italy and Jay, his co-worker, applied their magic and these areas have been transformed! Our tile floors look like we had new tile laid as well. Needless to say, we are very happy and highly recommend this company. They were careful of our property as they moved through our house from place to place with their equipment and chemicals. Covered the floors when they did the countertops. (They would have done the countertops first, but it was an afterthought! Who knew they could reverse the damage of 13 years? One of my better 'after thoughts.) They worked from 9 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. with no lunch break.

This business was the second one that I called for an estimate to have chips in a granite countertop repaired. The first contractor gave me a price for a very complete repair. The Sons of Italy representative only offered to patch the chips for a price that was just slightly below the first contractor. When I explained what the first contractor had offered (I had already told him that his would be the second estimate) this company's representative suddenly got an attitude, told me that I probably wouldn't be happy with his repair anyway, and stormed out of my home without thanking me for calling him or even wishing me a good day. He also made a nasty comment about the fact that I lived in a community that was much nicer than his and that I could probably afford a more expensive repair. After this experience, I would not call this business for anything and could not recommend them to anyone, due to their total lack of professionalism.
