Silva and Silva Cleaning

The women were so friendly and went right to work. I felt completely comfortable with them in my home. They dug in and I mean dug in there was 10 years of dust and build up in showers, faucets all the shelving. They worked around the items I had been unable to put away after finding the disaster. When they told me the price I was in shock not because of how high it was but because of how reasonable it was. This is almost a secret I want to keep to myself, but if you are looking for a house cleaner I highly recommend the ladies from Silva and Silva as well as Silva and Silva....

We were just purchasing an existing home and wanted the interior thoroughly cleaned before we moved in. The Silva's where prompt at returning our call to schedule service and very accommodating and friendly. On the day of the closing, the ladies showed up at the appointed time and wasted no time getting to work. The house looked and smelled great in just a couple of hours. We'll definitely use Silva and Silva again.

Mara called me within the first day of my inquiry on Angie's List. I was looking for someone to clean my mother's apartment. She was professional and pleasant on the phone, explained what she would do for the first clean as well as for the continued scheduled cleanings. I was happy that she texts so I could send her all my mom's info that way. Mara called to confirm the day before and showed up on time. Mara called me later to let me know how it went and showed such compassion for my mom (85 years old) who actually fell down while Mara was at the apartment. My mom usually has her housekeeper clean her room and bath, then goes back to bed. I was somewhat surprised that she did this on Mara's first visit though, showing trust right away. My mom, who can be very difficult, was very happy with her. We've asked her to come back twice a month.

They came to do an initial cleaning of our house. First, Mara came to the house to see what needed to be done. They are kind and professional and scheduled the cleaning so not to interfere with my one-year-old twins' nap. They can clean anything! Clean the cupboards, inside the refrigerator, etc. The day they cleaned, they moved out the washer and dryer and cleaned behind them. They moved out the refrigerator and cleaned behind it. They were so thorough and also helped me organize my clutter. This is an amazing cleaning service. We used a franchise maid service in the past and paid too much for too little. Silva & Silva do an amazing job and the price is right! They take great pride in their work and clean a house like it's their own. I intend to use Silva & Silva every other week and highly recommend them to anyone looking to have a clean house you are proud to show off.

Ms. Silva's cleaning service is reliable, trustworthy and efficient. What stuck out to me is the effort made by Ms.Silva or members of her staff to give a timely response when scheduling a service time. As our needs for house keeping are sporadic, we do not have a permanently scheduled weekly or monthly service. Ms. Silva and her staff have been very accommodating and flexible to our needs, and have always provided a solid service. The pricing is fair, and remains constant. The only adjustments made to price are for extra services requested outside of our normal cleaning needs, such as laundry. The price adjustment for these extra services is always the same, and their are never and surprises when it comes what to expect in terms of cost. I am very pleased to have found them, and would say that their customer service is highly desirable- something that is very important when it comes to trusting someone in your home.

I got three names from Angie's List of house cleaning companies. I am on the road a lot so it was hard for me to meet up with the companies so they could come out and give me an estimate. One company could only come out on Thursdays, another one just couldn't find time for several weeks but Mara of Silva and Silva came out Saturday morning because it worked for me. She was very nice but more important her company has been in business for many years (forgot how many but I was impressed). Rosie and Stella come out to clean every other week and they do a fantastic job! The survey had me put date of service so I put the last day they were out but we started using Silva and Silva last month. Rosie and Stella are the nicest ladies and they really know what they are doing. They are organized and thorough and I couldn't be happier.

The only comment I can make is that they are a little slow.

They did a great job. Communicated clearly the cost for our home and what would be included. Very friendly and polite.

We have rebooked for a return visit and will recommend to our friends and neighbors

The owner is very professional and likable. She was responsive to my request for a quote and was punctual and thorough at my house. We agreed upon a price for an initial 3-hour cleaning with 2 cleaners and then bi-weekly cleaning. On a Friday, 2 women cleaned my house in under 2 hours, instead of 3. Many areas I specffically requested and expect cleaned on a regular basis were either missed entirely or only partially cleaned. The owner apologized and had 2 women (unknown if the same women) return the following Monday. My husband and I were out of town for the weekend so the house was in the same manner as it was left by the cleaners. Many of the areas were addressed, but not with the quality I expected. The kitchen counters, after 2 cleanings, still had dried food on the surface, felt by a simple swipe of the hand. I had high expectations based on the comments in Angie's List and after meeting the owner. I was very disappointed with the service and would not recommend this company.

Extremely satisfied with very thorough cleaning.

They are excellent. They do a through job of cleaning and are very dependable. I don't think they have ever not come when they were suppose to. They also are very trustworthy. However, they increased their prices last summer. I have several friends that use them too and was surprised by the difference in the prices they charge. That is the only problem I have. I think $60.00 an hour (for two people) is a little steep. I would not normally pay that amount, but since they do a good job and I trust them, I pay that amt. If they raise it again, I probably won't.

They arrived promptly and had called the day before to remind me of the appointment. They were cheerful, smiling, and professional. They knew exactly what to do and went to work immediately. They cleaned my house quickly quietly and efficiently. I was very pleased with the results.

I was extremely pleased with Silva and Silva Housecleaning. I see that some of the other comments had a concern about contacting someone to schedule the cleaning. I had no problem at all. They were able to schedule a deep home cleaning the same week I called. Two very nice, well mannered ladies showed up on time and worked very hard for 3 hrs. I have had other services were the cleaners talked a lot with each other or they were on the phone a lot...these ladies worked constantly. They sang softly as they worked, it was very pleasant. They did a fantastic job. As a matter of fact, before they left I arranged with Celia for ongoing cleaning. I would not hesitate to recommend this team.

Carmen and Marilyn were great. The home is sparkling clean and we've set up a regular bi-weekly appointment with Silva and Silva.

ave.It took a couple of weeks to get our weekly cleaning on a regular schedule . Usually two people show up and clean our unit within two hours. They meet or exceed our expectations. The one week they showed up late, we were called to let us know. The are very professional and the condo is spotless when they leave.

When I read that someone else had trouble scheduling service I ignored it. Well not only did that happen to me but Silva reached a new low by scheduling an appointment then cancelling at 9:40pm at night the night before by text message. The reason was that my house was too far even though it is within her service area which she had agreed to previously. This puts me in a huge bind because we are setting up for an open house. Now I have to scramble. Someone that treats their clients like this does not deserve business.

Celia arrived on time with 2 other women and did a great job cleaning our empty new home from head to toe. I was very specific about what I wanted done when I scheduled the service and we agreed on a price over the phone. I asked her to do some additional things when she arrived and she was very fair in her price increase for the extras. She and her crew were very pleasant and I would highly recommend them.

The cleaning staff was spot on time, very professional and worked very efficiently. The house had been left filthy by tenants and I had a limited period of time to get it cleaned up...this company accommodated my request on short notice and the staff did an EXCELLENT job. I would recommend this firm again in an instant.

Within the week of calling this company, we had set up for them to deep clean my house. They are extremely thorough and quick, as well as pleasant! There wasn't an inch they didn't touch - under furniture, behind appliances, even my shoes in my closet! I have two large dogs that shed heavily and slobber. I couldn't find a spot or hair anywhere. The house didn't smell like dog either when they were done. Honestly, the best company I have ever had clean my house.

The two ladies showed up at the agreed upon time. The owner was one of the cleaning personnel which is always a plus. The were extremely professional and without a doubt exceeded my expectations. They did a deep clean and cleaned the entire house down to the base boards. The house has not looked so clean when the left. I was extremely impressed. We agreed to have them return every 2 weeks. The cost will be less than this initial purchased.
