Description of Work: Royal Palm painted the exterior of our house and lanai. Mike gave us a bid, and they were painting the next week. They power washed our house including the roof prior to starting. They even painted our gutters that now blends nicely with the exterior paint colors. Mike was able to help with the color selection as well. The crew was courteous and cleaned up each day. They did such a good job on the exterior, that we had them paint the inside of our garage. I would definitely use them for my next painting project.

They had a whole crew here and they were like a well oiled machine with each man doing a specific job. They were courteous, and did an excellent job. They were also exceptionally clean. And they worked around my schedule. I am very pleased.

 + 0 morePower washing was performed on 2/20, reapirs and painting started on 2/23/15 due to cold temperatures and finished all work on 2/24/15. All work done professionally and we are totally satisfied with job.
Description of Work: Power washed exterior of house, made necessary repairs, caulked all cracks and joints including windows, primed entire house applied 2 coats of paint on entire house including lanai ceiling, gutters doors etc.

 + 0 moreI had a hard time negotiating this paint job. Mike did not want to honor his Angie's List advertised "deal". I had to stick to my guns about the price and the caliber of paint to be used. He was not happy; complaining to my husband that he only made a $100 for the job. My husband told him that I expected to get the price and service that was advertised. Once the crew arrived, they worked really well. There were a few areas that had to be redone after they left, but overall they did a good job. The crew was extremely polite. Mike refused to give me an estimate to paint the remaining interior.

 + 0 moreThey refused to honor the terms of the "Big Deal" This is a classic "bait and switch" in my opinion. First they tried to say my house was 41sf over the amount allowed by the voucher so it would be an additional $700 (for 41sf). I told them I told them $700 was not acceptable for 41sf. Then they said they couldn't do it for that price. They said there was a typo in the ad, and it was supposed to say 2000sf, but they have a different ad for 1800sf and $500 less. So I think that's a bunch of malarkey. Basically I think they put this ad out there hoping to get business and jack the price up. Shady shady company in my opinion. It also looks like from reading other reviews that one customer did get this deal. One reviewer specifically says he got his service for $2500 when everyone else was charging around $3300... which is about what they tried to charge me. I PAID for a deal. It was paid for and agreed upon and they tried a bait and switch.

 + 0 moreCalled 3 or 4 companies for estimates on exterior painting. I found Royal Palm to be the most responsive, professional and fairly priced. I don't have much to compare to since this is the 1st time having my house painted, but I will say they have set the bar pretty high for future projects. Very good communication by Mike and Shelley on all of my questions. Carlos and his crew did an amazing job and were very professional through out the job. I had several neighbors comment on what a great job these guys were doing. We wanted a red door but had a hard time choosing a shade of red, Shelley suggested a beautiful red that really makes everything pop. We are so happy with the way things turned out! I highly recommend this company!

Other companies had people answering the phone in an unprofessional manner, and one company that I asked for a quote never bothered to get it to me. So Royal Palm got the job simply by virtue of answering the phone professionally and getting me a quote. The quote was provided within a few hours. The work was high quality and was done on time. I didn't get to compare their price to anyone else's price, but it seemed fair.

They painted walls and woodwork in two bedrooms, family room, two baths, and garage walls, ceiling, and floor in three days. The crew worked steadily and efficiently. We had to change the schedule in the middle of the job because of problems caused by another construction company, and Royal Palm could not have been more accommodating. Highly recommend them, and I will use them again. Thanks much to Shelly, Mike, Fernando, and the crew for an outstanding job!

 + 1 moreOn Thursday the 27th, by the time I came home from work my house had transformed into a new and beautiful rich looking home. Neighbor's were driving by and stopping to talk with the painting crew and myself. Everyone was commenting on the color's and how professionally the project was coming along and so quickly. I had requested that a few things be removed from the house, old hose bibs and an old satalite dish. The crew went to work and removed them, they also went above and beyond and painted my new stacks up on the roof. By Friday the 28th at 2:00 pm just 21/2 days my job was completed! The walk through with Mike to be sure that everything to my satisfaction was completed went smoothly. Mike and the crew were not satisfied with the front doors, showed me where they felt needed more work and will come out next week to complete it to their high standards. All in all, the whole team from Mike the President, to his lovely girlfriend, Shelley whom I have not had the pleasure to meet yet and the painting crew went above and beyond my expectations. I would give this company on a scale from 1 to 10 an 11 for their professionalism, caring and respect of their workmanship. Kudo's to you all! I will highly recommend this Company.
Description of Work: I called the Company for an estimate and the very next day Mike came out and we walked the property, discussed my ideas and what I envisioned. The very same day that evening, his partner/ secretary,,Shelley provided me an estimate. I mentioned I was an Angie's List member and he gave me my 10% discount. From the moment we shook hands I knew I was going to be in good hands. His Company has painted many houses, including both our clubhouses within our community. Mike provided a color scheme booklet for me to choose my colors, which was a difficult task for me. I knew what I wanted but finding the perfect color scheme to match with my new roof was daunting. Shelley took it upon herself to contact a professional designer that they work with and called me to notify me if I needed her services she would be readily available to me for a consultation. I had found my colors by then on my own. Royal Palm painting provided all they insurance certificates to me to present to my board for color approval on Friday. The following Tuesday they pressure washed the exterior and the crew started painting on Wednesday the 26th. I wanted a contrasting bold front door. Mike helped me choose the right color of deep red to contrast with the body & trim colors I had chosen.

Took about a week. 1st day entire house was pressure washed, including the roof. 2nd day they caulked around windows and doors, then covered them with plastic. 3rd day primer was applied 4th and 5th days two coats of paint were applied. We used a satin finish acrylic paint on the house and trim and oil based semigloss on the doors. All paints an material were included, the guys on the job were very professional. Prices have gone up considerably since I had this done. A neighbor recently had a similar house painted at $3300

 + 1 moreThe owner, who came out to do the bid for us, was very prompt and professional. All of the workers who came to the job site were well mannered, neat, and knowledgeable. The work was fantastic and they finished the whole job in about a week. I would recommend this company to everyone. We had a great experience with Royal Palm and will definitely be using them in the future!

 + -1 moreWork was done while we were away. The walls in the bedroom were to have been painted beige as was part of the ceiling. The rest of the ceiling was to be blue. When we returned we found the walls blue and a mix up of colors on the ceiling. Clean up was less than satisfacatory. The provider insisted that the colors were as we requested then offered to redo the job free of charge with us buying the paint. We ageed but in the end decided that the blue walls were actually okay and decided to leave the work as it was.

 + -1 moreWe have heard how bad contractors are in Naples. What a great and pleasant suprise. They showed up on time to review and quote the job. Convinced us to expand the work slighly---they were right---was not a money maker for them. Wife and I were disagreeing a little over the colors. Royal Palm had a decorator come over and help us select the colors. Even convinced us to "go out on a limb" with an accent wall. We were not sure---she said it is just paint--it could be redone. We love it---makes our place. The painters were on time, clean, quick and professional. First thing they did was introduce themselves and review the job. They moved and returned everthing---furniture, plants pictures, etc.. When they were almost done they asked us to check each room to see if anything needed to be touched-up. Liked them so much gave them each (2 painters) a gift cerificate for lunch. When they completed they cleaned up everything. The owner of Palm Painting and Deco came over to review the work before the painters left and had them redo a couple of spots(things I did not see). I am going to have them return and do all the trim after I have the carpet replaced(next year). Both my wife and I we very happy. Great job Royal Palm
