Rock Solid put in two granite counter tops in my lanai and we are very happy with the counter tops and Rock Solid! Hugo was excellent in communicating with me, and in Southwest Florida, that is rare! He answered every text and call, worked to make our project affordable and the follow up to confirm dates and how the project finished up was excellent. HIGHLY recommend calling Rock Solid and getting estimates from them for counter top solutions.

70 square feet of Quartz counter tops ! Everything from templates to install went fabulous!All the people involved were punctual,skilled and professional ! Cleanup was excellent! Salesmen came early, before the appointment, stuck the business card in the door and left. No knock on the door and no phone call. He must have assumed that someone will wait ALL DAY! Unprofessional and disrespectful of clients' time.

I will never use them again. I'm getting ready to fill out a complaint with a company with them for two reasons. They advertise that you get the sink, and garbage disposal and your tile splash back free. Okay, when I asked for the garbage disposal, he said well, I can't give you all of them free, just one, you just get one. That's not what the ad said. The other thing was, he didn't know it but I had paid a company to do a template of my counter. So, I knew exactly how many inches I had. I told him, it's been 56 inches it's been measured, that's all I said. So, after they came out, he calls me and well it's 60 inches, no backsplash between 56 included a back splash, so that's another 300 bucks. By then you're already committed because when you signed for them to come out if you say no if you change your mind you lose your deposit and everything. Then, they made me pre pay everything. So, I was locked in then. 56 inches I knew there was no doubt in my mind. So, because he gave me a so-called discount at $150 because I was paying in cash. I didn't get the garbage disposal. They just took off my whole border, and everything was just scraped off. I said well, what about the backsplash? What does the thing look like? He said it's just a yellow paper; he wouldn't even show me.

Excellent....selected granite and within a week they were out to make measurements. Few days later the installation was done, everything fit perfectly. Much to my surprise the large odd shaped main kitchen counter was fabricated with no seams. Workmanship far exceeded my expectations.

I picked out my stone and something different was installed. They claimed that what I picked was installed. After much arguing with (rep) Nelson, I spoke to the owner. He assured me that the stone that I picked out was indeed installed in my home. The owner also tried to imply that I wasn't his customer, because he was paid by my contractor. So this wasn't his issue. When I asked him to tell me that I wasn't his customer and by making some points about process and procedure controls that are not in place to protect customers from changes, he relented and said that my contractor changed my stone order. So basically they , Nelson and the Owner, were protecting the contractor by trying to convince me that they installed what I picked out. And there were other changes as well, such as the wrong edging. All these changes were to help the contractor reduce costs on a fixed price project. The owner said I had to fix it through the contractor, who immediately called the owner a liar and called (rep) Nelson and not the owner. Nelson did not know he was on speaker phone and called me and my girlfriend whiney-******* and that is when I spoke a few choice salty comments and my contractor walked off the job. Rock Solid never followed up with me and I decided to live with the results.

The service provided was efficient and great. We purchased quartz counter tops for our remodeled kitchen. The ordering, template and installation was done in a time period of about 4 weeks or so. I would recommend.

Customer service was excellent, installers were professional and did a good job.

I'm thinking OK this will take 5 minutes, 45 minutes later I am told by the salesmen he is finished and can complete my order. Then I am told to complete the paperwork and he will be right back. At my surprise he is gone again and leaves me there yet again to go and wait on another customer and is gone again! This company advertises prices on the radio that do not exist, tactics to get you in. They are understaffed with salespeople for the huge volume they sell and extremely unprofessional to expect a customer to wait 45 minutes because a impatient customer walks through the door expecting the world to stop and pay immediate attention to them. I would never buy one thing there, I will drive to Ft. Myers where prices are less expensive and customers have value.

Rock solid recently installed my granite counter tops and from start to finish it was an enjoyable experience! The staff was extremely helpful and professional and inventory they have was simply amazing. I will recommend to all my family and friends to use Rock Solid and next month I plane to use them again for both of my bathrooms and laundry room!

A professional, headache free experience from beginning to end. The salesman was a pleasure to deal with. He was helpful with a number of suggestions and actually listened to some things I had to say, unlike the diva at a competitor's store up the road, whose "my way or the highway" approach to customer relations drove me out the door. Every date was adhered to at Rock Solid. I was asked to come in before the slab was cut to help place the templates, which was very helpful. The guys who did the installation were probably the most efficient crew of workmen I've ever had in to do a job at my home before. They were prompt, cleaned constantly as they went along, and the foreman was helpful with advice on care of the granite and several other things. The foreman also removed without an issue the broken garbage disposal a plumber had disconnected at one end the day before, but was too lazy to take away. The job, for a 50 sq. ft. kitchen, which included the sink installation, took around 2 1/2 hours. Aside from the hole for the faucet, nothing had to be recut or adjusted on site. The measurements were done perfectly, and there's not a visible seam anywhere on the counter. And one big surprise was the sink. It is not the thin, tinny and cheap feeling sink I thought I'd be getting. This is one that has some density to it, so when you rap it with your hand you hear a thud, not a tinny, ping type noise. The kitchen was left spotless. The B mark I left on the price only reflects the square footage which was added after the template was prepared. I know that due to angles and layout, some extra footage has to be ordered. I still can't conceive though that my condo kitchen needed 51 square feet of granite, which brought the price from 2,400 to 2,800, but nonetheless the price was decent, especially compared to a couple of other quotes I got from competitors on J&C Blvd. This price did not include a backsplash installation, which I'm leaving until a later time. But based upon my experience with this company, I will undoubtedly have Rock Solid do the backsplash when I'm ready. I recommend this place highly.

Went well until installer decided to call boss to tell him that other trades working in conjunction with them were holding them up. When boss called me to and quot;chew me outand quot; they had already finished. We are talking about 5 to 10 minutes here. I called boss to talk to him again about another problem and he didn't return my phone call.

We selected a piece of quartz for a two sink bathroom vanity at Rock Solid and gave $581.25 (50%) down on 10/23/13. We contracted with a bathroom remodeler on 11/10/13. I immediately called Rock Solid and told them the bathroom vanity would be installed 12/6, and they could put me on the schedule for a template then. We needed to be completed by Christmas due to 5 guests coming to stay for a week. I also cancelled the back plash since we decided to order glass tile instead. Evidently and quot;Brandonand quot; forgot to put us on the schedule, because when I called Rock Solid early the week of Dec. 2,to verify that they were coming, we were not on the schedule, and Brandon was and quot;out sickand quot;. After several non-returned phoned calls, I somehow ended up talking to HUGO, the owner. I explained the situation and he said they were very busy due to Christmas coming and everybody wanted their work done. I reiterated that they had our $581.25 since 10/23, and Brandon forgot to put us on the template list. He promised to squeeze us in for the next week. The next week we received several unintelligible calls from Janet, who, after translation, said that they would schedule us for a template in January. I really lost it and told her that HUGO promised me THIS WEEK. Somehow, somebody showed up and did a template. But unfortunately, when they guys cut out the sink holes, they broke the quartz!!!! However, they could glue it back together!!!!!! I said, and quot;Indeed NOT!and quot; So they told us to come back and pick out another piece. (Rock Solid is 12 miles each way to our house.) The next day I had outpatient surgery with anesthesia, took a nap, and my husband drove me to Rock Solid to choose another piece to keep this project moving. Nelson met us inside and took us outside in the hot sun to choose another piece. Another customer started talking to him about sealing her counter top, and he left me standing outside in the hot sun while he took her inside to discuss her non-pressing question!!!!!! After almost fainting, we chose another piece.... which after more phone calls, they came to install it... IT DIDN'T FIT THE VANITY TOP!!! Not by a long shot!!!! By now I was ready to..... never mind! And they gouged up the walls on both sides of the vanity and the door frame!!! The installer made another template on the spot.... and we went back AGAIN to chose another piece. HUGO took us out back to place both templates on the second piece of quartz to prove that I was wrong... that TWO templates couldn't be wrong!! Ha! The two templates were correct, but the cutter cut the sink wrong!!!! I was NOT the one who was wrong.!!! This was torture. We gutted an remodeled an entire house up north and didn't have nearly this much trouble with a vendor!!!!! FINALLY, Dec. 23, two months after we started this torture, they installed the THIRD vanity top.. having again to adjust the inside of the Pottery Barn vanity by sawing even more off than the did the first time. When the job was FINALLY finished, the guy gave me the bill, which magically did NOT have the back splashes listed as the original invoice did... but the price did not reflect it. We were still charged the same price!!! And the invoice magically had the same invoice number and and quot;10/13and quot; on it, but not a price change! So I called HUGO again!!!! After ALL we went through, do you think this guy would take off the back splashes which I cancelled on 11/10??? I had to argue with him that after ALL we went through purchasing a simple vanity top that he had BETTER take off the $120 cost of the back splashes which I I They re-typed the invoice for the original amount of $1162.50!!!!! What scoundrels!!!!! I subtracted the $120 and wrote my final check for the remainder. All of the different workers were here were aghast at this lack of screw-ups and customer service. So we definitely DO NOT recommend ROCK SOLID!!!!! There are too many other reputable counter top stores from which to choose!!!! Signed, Dr. Z.

The salesman was good. The measurers were good and showed up on time. The installers were to come 10/2, but I got a call from the owner that afternoon indicating they were still completing a job and would come the next morning. They didn't show on the 3rd. After repeated calls to the owner and salesman, they said they had me confused with another order and would come on the 4th. I'm a bit skeptical, since they had called me on the 2nd. The counters were installed on the 4th. They fit perfectly. The installers did an ok job, but the previous surface, especially the backsplashes, had really been glued on, so now I must hire someone to spackle, caulk and paint.

The bottom line is I did finally get a quality product at a fair price. However, this was an extremely exhausting experience. Customer Service is not exactly one of Rock Solid's strong points. Countless phone calls not returned and appointments cancelled or rescheduled, at the last minute. I work, so this caused more havoc than I expected with a counter top replacement. Finally, I had to ask a friend's husband to speak, on my behalf, in order to get anything accomplished. He also renegotiated my price, due to all the mistakes and mishandlings. I was told the install would take one day - it took FIVE! (small, uncomplicated kitchen.) Mostly, I was frustrated the entire time dealing with this company. What should have, could have, been an enjoyable experience, was filled with set backs, irritation, disrespect and disappointment. Bottom line - BBB has them rated F - should have looked that up before I gave them my deposit.

We remodeled our pool bath and went to Rock Solid to look through their granite bone yard. We found a great piece and ordered it. Two days later Rock Solid sent a worker to our house to make a template. Five days later the new top was installed. This was not a normal vanity top as it had an elongated piece off the back of the granite that extended across the room and over the commode. Everything when perfectly. There were no issues or problems. Totally professional in every respect.

the installers did a nice job but the office did not.My phone calls to check time of arrival was not returned and when I did get a hold of them the date was not the date the salesman gave me but a week later

We are very impressed with their services. Hugo is the owner, and he spent a TON of time with us. We discussed our budget and he pointed us in the right direction for something my wife fell in love with. Great, great people to work with. They were VERY busy and were still able to afford us their maximum attention. Don't waste your time, like I did. I talked to every granite shop on Jand C, and Hugo's prices and service had everyone beat. We are very satisfied, and were impressed that Hugo was able to go above and beyond for us.

The installers cracked the countertop upon installation. It took us a month and provided photo's in order to get the countertop replaced but they did replace it. Make sure if you have a granite counter installed that you check every inch of it before you pay the balance. If I had paid closer attention I would have seen the cracks and more than likely it wouldn't have taken a month to replace it because I would not have paid the balance. Ultimately we are very happy with our counter top, but it was not without a certain degree of difficulty.
