 + 0 moreThe tile removal went ok, but the wood installation was a nightmare. The wood, once installed, did not adhere to the sub floor. It took months to get the company to address the problem. The company insisted it was not at fault and that it was a problem with the glue used. The company finally did do the installation over again but it still was not satisfactory.
Description of Work: removsl of existing tile and installation of engineered hardwood.

Description of Work: I normally don't comment on peoples work etc...but I feel I must let potential customers know about Ray Barrows Flooring.I specifically chose him and joined Angies list to get someone to finish my hardwood floor in my billiard's room in Naples.Ray was sending out a estimator(Eric) who never showed up and after several calls by us Ray apologized and went to our house and gave us an estimate.We asked him about a product Waterlox that seals the floors and he said he would have to get it from Atlanta and this was on 30th.We were told he would start late Tuesday the 5th of July or Wednesday morning the 6th.We called on the 6th several times and our superintendent on the job said he was holding up cleaning the house to close.We tried on Thursday the 7th and left several messages with no calls back or showing up to the job.My wife said on that night if you don't return our call we will find someone else.We now have someone else to do the job and Waterlox can be purchased in Ft.Myers and Cape Coral at flooring stores.Would stay away from this guy.

 + -1 moreI had some hurricane windows installed, and they moved a desk in the process and it broke portions of my hard wood floor. They did it for about a quarter of the price of the other company I looked at. They did a really great job fixing it.
Description of Work: Ray Barrows came out and replaced some broken hardwood floorboards.
