PEN AIR CONDITIONING INC

Three months ago I called Pinero was charged $250 for them to clean out my lines. Air conditioning ran great for about three months and then started blowing hot air again doing the same thing that it was doing before, they sent out the same man to fix the air conditioning the son of the owner. He went outside and came back holding a part and said this is the part that needs to be replaced I said great is it still under warranty because the air conditioner was just put in a few years ago. He said yes it was is under warranty but I have this one on my truck and it’s only $115 , so it’s not under warranty and I have to pay $115 yes plus my service fee, but I could go and get the one that is under warranty and then you’re going to pay more in labor and also for shipping and handling on that part and a restocking fee . I was totally shocked nothing that I was told when I put in the air conditioning what’s going on now he I’m looking at paying three or $400 for warranty part and most of that would just be for labor for him to drive around Naples and then probably put in the part that was in his truck to begin with . I finally gave up and said just go replace the part. As he was on the side of the building my grandson was walking home from school and heard him talking very poorly about me and my grandson walked in and says oh I see you’re making somebody very unhappy today grandma . OK now I’m mad now you’re charging me $115 for a warranty part plus you’re talking poorly about me on the side of the building for garden everyone to hear my neighbors and whoever. I went out and confronted the young man who seem to be very disc concerned about any of this was more concerned about me being upset about paying for a part that that should’ve been under warranty. I walked back in the house as he was still talking I was in no mood to listen to anymore of his nonsense. A few moments later he came in with a bill for $250 , 115 us were the part another 135 for labor he arrived here at 4:10 and left around 440 that seems like a lot of money for less than an hour to put in a part. No I know I’m not sure if the part is even going to be under warranty from the manufacture since he did it so underhanded. In my book I would be very wary of ever using Pinaire they’re great about getting your air conditioning and up and running but when it comes for service calls and things like that not so great. I am very unhappy I would not ever even one time consider passing their name on to any other person especially a single woman . I feel like I was price gouged in charge for something that I was not supposed to be charge for that is under warranty !!!! Just for the reason we all have to do our homework don’t trust everybody’s word because it doesn’t go as far as we would like shop around and get a price unfortunately I’ve been living withOut for almost a week now.
