The blower motor unit was under warranty, but the labor was over $600, which took only 20 minutes to replace once he had the part. I will never use them again, I have a very hard time justifying the little amount of time for the cost, and it is only guaranteed for a year!

I have a policy with them. They come out twice a year. It's supposed to have already been checked and I told them they can't come out because I'm trying to move two houses into one house. I have so much stuff in the garage, there's no way they can get up on the second floor to check it. They come out right before it gets hot and right before it gets cold. I pay them $200 one time then they come out. They check it, clean the filter, they clean it and all that stuff. They do a very good job. My sister had them before me and she lived here 20 years before she died. Then she left the house to me and I've lived here five years.

I received a call from a Telemarketer from One Hour Air Conditioning, she said we haven't been to your place in a while. We want you back. We are offering a $49.00 special to service your air conditioner. The Technician arrived promptly today. He identified some issues which I appreciate. I asked him to clean the coil because he had not done so. He said, it was not of any benefit at all. He said he would spray it all I want, but it was a waste of time because the coil should be replaced. It is working now, but probably this summer, when it gets hotter, it won't keep up. He later advised that he couldn't wash the outdoor AC unit because he only had 50 feet of hose. I provided him with 50' of hose. It reached fine, and he did not have to add his hose to it. He grudgingly washed it while I watched. When finished, he said he was going to his truck to do the bill. I walked to his truck and stood outside the door of his van where he remained with the window up for 5 minutes. He never rolled down the window. I went back in the house. I handed him the check for the $49.00. He said it was $59.00. He called the office but wouldn't let me speak to the girl. I asked for the phone, he pointed at my phone and kept saying. 239, instructing me to dial. I asked why I couldn't use his phone. He said, I'm not going to discuss that with you. I called the office, they told me that they don't offer a 49.00 special. I had spoken to the service manager prior to the appointment. He acknowledged that he appreciated being told what the telemarketers were offering. He never told me they had offered a rate they won't honor. He did tell me that the warranty they told me I was getting did not exist. Elvis left by telling me he didn't like my attitude. He said, "you just don't like to hear what I'm telling you". He is right. I don't like being told that cleaning the coil is a waste of time. I don't like hearing that he is not equipped to clean the outdoor unit. I don't like being told that the price I was quoted will not be honored. I don't like a service provider coming in my house and displaying attitude. I guess the bottom line is, "You Get What You Pay For". Go with a quality provider rather than a discount service.

I got a call from Jeff on Wednesday 1-13-16 at 1:00 PM and he left a voicemail and I called him right back and he's explaining how he has a appointment at 4:30PM in Naples and can't be at my house at 5:00 PM very understandable. He said all the sales guys went home and they have a skeleton crew. I don't need all those details, then he's telling me 5:00PM is an after hour appointment, well then don't offer me a 5:00PM appointment. Then he's like what do you need I said I am looking to get an estimate to replace my whole AC system, so he asked what do I currently have like he was going to give a price on the phone, I told him I don't want a price on the phone I want a person to come to my house and go though everything and show me different options. I rescheduled through him and was not happy at this point. So I called the office on 1-15-16 asking to cancel my appointment for now as I would like to speak to a manger on how he was to me and going to give me a price over the phone. I got told the manager was busy but will give me a call, needless to say today is 1-25-16 and I still have not received a call back. Not the type of service I would expect from a company. If this is how they are to potential customers imagine how they are if you were a customer.

It was great. I'm impressed with them. Three years ago, that's the first we've heard of them. They were recommended to me. We had the air conditioner replaced immediately. They came in and gave us a good quote and gave us a good service. They installed it that day. Since then, I've been on contract with them for the twice a year service. I've been impressed with the men that they have sent out. It's a good experience. I called them when I needed them and they were out very quickly.

Everything was done perfect. It was good. They were very professional. They were very neat, courteous. They explained what they were doing.

I have a contract with them and they come out three times a year at no charge. They came out to check on the air conditioning free of charge even thought it was an extra call. They are very reasonable and dependable.

I am an out of town landlord and my tenant called about a foul odor coming from the air conditioning. I called Wiegold to investigate. They came the next day and removed a dead animal and called to tell me it had done a lot of damage to the ductwork and must have bit an electrical wire that killed it. I was told extensive damage had been done and it would cost around $4,500 to fix it but for just $1,000 more they could replace the entire airconditioner (a package unit) that was only 4 years old. That did not make any sense as the until was working fine. I said thanks but I'd have to consider my options. My option was to call Florida Cool for a second opinion. They responded immediately and checked everything out. They found the smell was already dissapaiting and there was some minor duct work damage they could fix and santize the system for about $280. The unit was fine. The lesson we learned is to never ever call Wiegold again and Florida Cool has earned our business. As an out of town home owner we might have trusted Wiegold and we would have been robbed.

I called because like all of us we hear their jingle on the radio. They were advertising a specail A/C cleaning for like 49 dollars. This is a tactic that almost all A/C companies will use to get into your home to tell you how bad your system is and how you will save if you upgrade your old system. Lets be honest how much money do you think the company actually makes on a 49 dollar cleaning. They have to pay their tech for two hours at least 30-40 dollars, not to mention gas and chemicals. On to the sales pitch. The salesman was polite and professional but you could quickly see the transition between technician to salesman. He quoted me $9,983.00 for a 3 ton rheem for my 1500 square foot home. You can purchase this unit for $2,000 online which includes delivery. So am I understanding installation and permitting is 7,983? I called another contractor he laughed so hard and actually took a picture with his phone of the quote to send to his boss. Ironically I got five other quotes and each pretty much had the same response. The other companies even quoted me with the same exact model and insurance roughly between 4600-5800 dollars. Guess what $4700 later it was installed by a company with much higher reviews on Angies List. Best advise is get say four or five quotes so you can have a good basline to go by. It was a $5,283 difference in price.

Called Wiegold One Hour Air for a spring tune up. Technician (Rudy) came out and quickly started telling me everything that was wrong with the unit and that is was so dirty and rusted that it could not be cleaned properly. Rudy told me that the coil were completely rusted and unserviceable and could not be repaired. He also stated that the entire unit was covered in mold (hot button word). I asked about installing a uv light in order to resolve the mold issue, but was told the entire system needed to be replaced. The next day they sales department called to schedule a quote. The sales rep (Jeff Grant) came out and without even looking at the unit suggested a $8700 replacement. In full disclosure, the unit was not originally installed properly and was not grounded and did not have a drip pan. I asked about having the system repaired and brought up to code and was told that they would never do a repair of this type as it could cost $500 and then break 6 months down the road and they would be liable for the repairs. This is a ridiculous comment as A/C units are repaired all the time and customer cannot hold the repair company liable for repairing a 8 year old system that eventually fails. At minimum when I ask about repairs I should have been given this choice and told that they could not guarantee the life of the system if they simply repaired the code issues. Instead they insisted the unit needed to be replaced as soon as possible and that repairs were not possible, they also stressed that the mold could be causing health issue (another scare tactic) I called another company (Bigley’s Air Conditioning) who came out and told me the unit was is fair condition and that the code issue were a simple repair, less than $200. I was also informed that the mold seen was very common in any air handler that is exposed to the heat and humidity and they health concerns should not be used as a scare tactic. Theses repairs to not have a warranty and I can easily understand that a couple hundred dollar repair is not the same as a new system. It was also noted that Weigold did not perform a complete cleaning and they his standard cleaning included the cleaning of the drum fan and wiring harness. I called Wielgold back and spoke to a service manager and explained all the above and requested he come out and look at this system that was said to need immediate replacement. The service manager insisted his service tech knew what he was talking about and that he did not need to come out. He also stated that they do not repair older systems as they are not willing to stand behind the repairs (as silly as this sounds, this is essentially what he said). I continued to try and get the service manager to come and look at the systems as I wanted an explanation as to why the only option I was given was a complete replacement (other than dishonesty), once again he refused my request. Finally, I called the sales rep and express my frustrations. His comment to me was "that he knew some companies are dishonest, but that service was not his department". He did insist that Rudy was honest and even implied that since Rudy is a former marine his honesty is above reproach. I am the first to support the men and women of our armed services, my father served 25+ years. This however is not a guarantee of honesty and reputable company should be willing to stand by a recommendation and at least be willing to come out and verify a recommendation of one of their employees. In summary stay away from Wiegold One Hour Air, they are a very dishonest and appear to be in the business of replacing a/c and not servicing or repairing. Rip off artist in the truest since. If you are looking for a honest company call Bigley’s Air Conditioning and ask for Dana.

Always happy with their service. They are prompt and efficient and have never tried to talk us into doing unneeded work, like other air conditioning companies are known for. Technicians have always been very knowledgeable and courteous.

They do a satisfactory job. However, they are always trying to upsell you to services that you don't really need. For example, their tech back around their March visit told me that my air conditioning unit probably wouldn't last through the summer unless I had some service performed, I forget what it was, but it wasn't cheap. Of course, my air conditioner is running fine. It is that kind of upselling that makes me not recommend them. I intend to try Conditioned Air next time since I have received some positive recommendations about them.

I've used Wiegold for approximately 17 years because they do the work perfectly every time. Just purchased a different home, and Wiegold will do any and all work needed.

I pay in advance for three service visits, they are supposed to call when my next service visit is due, however since my last service visit they have been calling me every week to try to schedule the next visit when it is not due until June. I have become annoyed with the constant calls and tired of telling the caller each time they call. About a dozen times they have said they would fix it in their computer, I still get another call the next week. After my last pre-paid service in June I will switch to another service company.

My AC was not cooling properly. I had a service contract and expected them to check for leaks and then help fix the problem. They added freon (or whatever) and charged a HUGE amount for it plus a extra service charge in addition to my yearly service charge. I decided to get a new AC unit because I figured the inside coils had a slow leak. (This was the second time I had a problem). I didn't even get a quote from them because I was so irritated by their charges. I have since found out that they are a subsidiary of a LARGE corporation although they advertise as if they were locally owned. I think their charges are excessive and will never use them again. I purchased a new AC unit from a locally owned vendor.

It went smoothly; they arrived on time and finished in about 15 mins. They didn't try to sell us anything we didn't need and everything worked correctly.

They service has been fine. I like that they are prompt and thorough. They employees are all very nice. They are extremely professional. I have been very satisfied with their services.

I have been using their services for about four years. I have been more than satisfied. They always do exactly what they say they will do. They are friendly, courteous and show up on time. They do their job and do it completely as promised. They are very professional.
