Description of Work: Juan came here to work on downed tree limbs--just general yard clean up. |But when they got here we had just had a big delivery of dog Agility Obstacles. Juan and his helper went right to word unpacking them and putting them together and helped us set up where the Obstacles should go. They then took the wood used for packing apart and stacked it neatly so it would not get rained on. *10* for these guys. It would have taken forever if we would have done it on our own.

Description of Work: Juan came to look at the job I needed and apparently, it wasn't big enough to warrant his time. He told my husband he would call me with some ideas for plants for my flower beds and for making my mulch beds around my trees. I called him a couple of weeks after because i hadn't heard anything and left a message. I have not heard from him since, and found someone else to do the work.

 + 1 moreJuan and his crew arrived about 9:00 a.m. with triple palm tree and some small plants Juan thought would work nicely. I didn't really like the suggested plants as well as I thought I would like bougainvilla plants so Juan said, "no problem, we will get you the bougainvilla". His crew raked decorative rock back, but landscape cloth back, removed the infected trees and planted the new palms. Juan said he would be back tomorrow with Bougainvilla plants. I thought they would leave the rock raked back and landscape cloth exposed until after they completed planting the next day. Not the way Juan does things apparently. God love them when I went out the new palm trees looked like they had been there for years and the rock was in place with no evidence of all the digging and work having been done that day. It looked really great. Next morning, 9:00 a.m., Juan and crew back at work, raking the rock back. We had talked about 3 new plants being included in the price but Juan thought six small would be better than 3 large because of the amount of space involved. I agreed and was delighted with the plants and how wonderful they looked after the bed was finished. Again, they left the area looking pristeen and like it had been that way for years. They freshened the other planter areas around the house with more decorative rock to cover some spare looking spots. Honestly, hiring Juan and his crew has been the best thing we have done for our yard in 13 years of living here. Our yard looked o.k. when we moved in but now it looks great, thanks to Juan. ALSO, big point in Juan's favor. I o.k.'d more plants and at the time, thought "wonder what this is going to cost". Juan stuck with the agreed upon price of $500. Sure wish we had hired Juan years ago.
Description of Work: Removed a couple of large white fly infected palm trees. Base of palms covered in decorative rock chips. Raked rock chips back and planted a triple fox tail palm plus 5 small plants.

 + 0 moreHe arrived right away when we called. After planting the flowers and setting the bushes he came back to check his work and to make sure everything was blooming as it should. He always shows up when he says he is going to, he does great work for a reasonable price and he is knowledgeable in his field. He also has made some great recommendations for our garden.
