They completely rebuilt the entertainment center. Replaced old door and drawer fronts, repainted and matched perfectly. Rick and Steve were very nice to work with.

A SUPERIOR RENOVATION EXPERIENCE. Rick and Steve had to perform a miracle on our 2 bathroom, 2 bedroom condo in Naples that was in original condition from 1969.The remodel was extensive and included tearing down walls and raising the lanai floor. We added new tile, electrical, plumbing, drywall etc.. Our kitchen and bathrooms are now a dream come true. All this was accomplished long distance and every detail was completed to our satisfaction. The communication was seamless. Both Rick and Steve listened to our requests and followed through with exceptional attention to detail. WE ARE THRILLED AND LOVE OUR NEW HOME.

They had great sub contractors who met both commitments for timing and price. Were present at every step so we did not need to oversee anything, said what they would do and did what they said with high quality. I will have other project needs and they will be my choice to work with again.

I can not say enough about Rick Guthrie's professionalism, punctuality, and work ethic. He did an amazing QUALITY job turning my two bathrooms , kitchen , and living room from a 1985 outdated home into beautiful ,updated more modern living spaces. I highly recommend Rick and absolutely will be calling him in the future for more projects. He had fantastic ideas of how to get rid of the drop ceilings and make them look updated and gorgeous. The house looks like a totally different home. Great quality for reasonable prices and all from a guy who you can really trust. (Thanks Rick :} )

I have a small, older home in Naples Florida. My kitchen and bathroom badly needed updating, and the laundry room looked pretty tired too. By asking a neighbor and some friends for referrals, I did get two previous bids for the work I wanted done. The bids seemed high, and the bidders didn't seem especially to care if they got the job. I was a bit discouraged. It seems there are many contractors wanting to work on mini-mansions with maxi-budgets, but I didn't fill that criteria. One day I discovered I needed some plumbing work done pretty quickly. I asked a group of friends if anyone knew of a plumber, I was given a number. The plumber took care of my problem, and when I asked him if he could recommend a General Contractor, told me about Ironwood Development. That plumber said he would have Steve from Ironwood Development call me. Steve called the very next day. From the very first contact, co-owners Steve and Rick, were prompt and responsive. They listened to what I had in mind, and advised me on many details. I am glad that I trusted in their suggestions, but they were flexible in resolving the few minor issues that came up. The beginning of this type of work can seem slow because of the permitting process here in the Naples area, but Steve kept in touch with me to advise me of the progress. The overall time estimate was conservative-- meaning Ironwood did not promise a and quot;quickand quot; job, but instead a realistic prediction of the time it would take. Steve outlined the what the major milestones would be during the project. Ironwood wasted no time once the permits were issued; they got to work immediately. Once the work started, it was very steady for almost exactly two months. Most days (Mondays through Fridays) someone was in my house working. On the few rare days when nothing was going on, I had been advised not to expect anyone. In fact, Steve kept me very informed of what each next step was going to be and when. The progress of the work seemed very smooth, without various sub-contractors having to work around each other in what is a pretty small area. Concerning cost, the estimate I was given must have been well thought out because I didn't have to deal with a lot of inadequate allowances, which can be frustrating. I credit the accuracy of the bid, and final settlement to their experience and fairness. I wanted to work with a company whose owners are involved in the process, and that is what I got. Of course, licensed sub-contractors were used for drywall, tile, plumbing, electrical and cabinets. But Steve and Rick closely monitored the work the subs did, and made sure I was happy with the guys going in and out of my home. Not only was I happy with the work, I was pleased with the men doing the work. And ,Steve and Rick did a LOT of the work themselves, especially as were prepared for the job, and finished up the job. They were in there working. At the end of each workday, the site was clean and tidy. I felt and still feel that Rick and Steve were personally invested in having a good outcome to this job. I never felt that it was simply a and quot;joband quot;, or a source of income to them. The job has been finished for a week or so now. I have not discovered any problems, which seems amazing to me. But, I know if I did find a problem, it would be resolved promptly and with a smile. I am so pleased with the result of the work Ironwood Development did for me. I plan on contacting them anytime I need work done on my house.

Steve Jacobs and Rick Guthrie of Ironwood Development work together smoothly as a team. First, I have contracted with well over 100 residential and commercial contractors over a period of years. These men are easily in the top tier of my list! They are know how to tackle a variety of construction / remodeling. They'll let you know if they can or cannot take on a task unlike to many contractors They are personable -fun to have working while moving quickly to get the work done - correctly. Later, we needed several pictures and art hung on our walls. We immediately thought of them, and called for this small project. They worked efficiently, and charged a bargain price. Rick Guthric, the principle carpenter was on time, courteous, honest, and explained the procedure and cleaned up after his work by vacuuming sawdust, wood chips, and wiping up dust particles. He is a keeper.

It was an extensive job, beginning with removal of wood flooring, demo of kitchen and baths. Messy and dirty but necessary to make the improvements. The carpentry trim, the tile work and decorative touches in the kitchen and baths, the suggestions of how to remove a wall and place the island, all turned out perfect. They were on the job every day if not "hands on" working, then checking on their subs and supervising. This project increased the value of the home easily X 2. We will do this same thing again in a year or so. Entire remodel took approximately 6 weeks. This house looks brand new inside and outside. Could not be happier.
