He is good. He is doing all my stuff in the shower. He also did my kitchen and he'll still be doing a lot more things in my house.

Heritage Plumbing was recommended to us by our tile man. Foolishly, I did not ask him for an estimate before I had him do the work. He charged me $725 for those three things. I provided all the parts except the drain stopper. I feel that was excessive, though I would have accepted it without too much grumbling, if everything worked as it should have. Originally I intended to use him for all the plumbing work associated with my bathroom remodel. This included two sink hookups, a recirculating pump hook up, and a new toilet plus installation. My tile man had a timetable. He was tearing out the old shower and some of the damaged wood around the tub and installing cement board. He needed the plumber to do all the work that required access before the concrete board was installed - the shower valve and the Roman tub valve and faucet. Tommy - the plumber - showed up on time with two assistants to do the work. Even though he had told me he was very busy, he showed up on time. Tommy left, leaving his assistants to do the work. They spent a couple of hours completing the tasks. After they left, we noticed that the diverter lever which sends water to the hand held shower was leaking and the drain and drain stopper were not tightened down. Before leaving, my wife asked if we could use the tub, one of the assistants told us not to. There was something wrong with the drain, but not further details. That was the last time I heard from anyone from Heritage Plumbing for several weeks, despite repeated attempts to contact them. We had no toilet in that bathroom and we were expecting house guests. To be fair, this was during the Holiday season. I allowed for the possibility that they had taken off the week of Christmas. However, when my calls after New Years day went unanswered for many days, I became concerned. We had not toilet in this bathroom for several weeks while I attempted to contact Heritage. Eventually, we asked our tile man, that had recommended them to us to see if he could contact Heritage. Within a couple of hours of that request, I received a call from Tommy saying that there had been a death in his family and that he was out of state dealing with it. Of course, I felt bad for him. I understand that at a time like that business takes a back seat to other matters. In that call, he told me he would be back in town the following week and that in the interrim, he would have one of his assistants come by and take care of us. We heard nothing more from Heritage for another week. On Monday of the week he was to return, I began calling again. No answer. By the middle of that week, we contacted another plumber to install our toilet, and eventually do the other work. After a second call to our tile man and an immediate call from Heritage, they showed up at our door unannounced to complete the work and to repair the leaking Roman tub. After that visit, they left, with the diverter for the Roman tub broken off down inside and insisting that the tub must be pulled out and a new several undred dollar faucet purchase in order to resolve the situation. Ultimately we refused to allow them to pull the tub and contracted with another, more competent, plumber to repair the mess they made of our Roman tub. The new plumber was able to order a $30 part and to repair the damage without pulling the tub in less than 1 hour. Along the way he noted that some of the faucet parts had not been properly lubricated during installation. This was probably the cause of the initial leak, improper installation. Based upon my experience with Heritage Plumbing, I certainly can not recommend them. The are unreliable, do poor quality work and charge too much.
