Description of Work: He installed new outdoor electrical fixtures and reinstalled my lattices outside. He also fixed many other things, including a slow drain.

+ 0 moreI like that fact that if it's outside work Handyman 4 U just get it done and put a bill in the door. If it's scheduled work they don't return phone calls as well as I'd like them to. Their price is reasonable and they are local.
Description of Work: I used Handyman 4 U for roofing and inside home stuff too including an attic fan.

+ -1 moreAfter calling a number of Angie's List referrals and receiving very expensive estimates to repair my mother's porch railings, I hired Handyman 4 U and Bob Muldoon to do the job. Bob thought the railings could be repaired for a lot less money than replacing them. While Bob needed a couple weeks to obtain the necessary parts, he and his assistant efficiently and professionally repaired both outdoor railings to my mother's porch. Bob saved me hundreds of dollars over the cost of replacing the railings. Bob is friendly and tried to find the most efficient, effective, and inexpensive solution to my problem. I will surely hire Handyman 4 U, again!
Description of Work: The railings to my Mom's front porch were rusting and becoming unstable. My mother is 93 and needed the railing stabilized, and repaired or replaced.

+ 0 moreI was selling my house in Olney, MD and the buyer's inspector revealed various items that required repair or replacement. My real estate agent, Mark Day in Rockville, MD highly recommended Bob Muldoon. Bob listened to my concerns and made useful suggestions which I had not thought of to improve the various work he completed. I took him up on most of his suggestions. Bob, and at times his son, performed all the work required in a timely, punctual and professional manner at a fair price. I was very pleased with all aspects of Bob's work and recommend him without reservation.
Description of Work: Bob and his son replaced front and side gutters, sofit on both front and side,(including painting) and a small portion of the roof tile and flashing. The gutter replacement was completed in very cold weather with snow on the ground. Roofing work and painting was completed in warmer temperatures without snow. This work cost $700 including buying and picking up all parts and labor. Bob also completed numerous other repairs/replacements on the inside of my house, i.e. repairs on two toilets, bannister fix, custom framing on two 4' X 6' bathroom mirrors, fix sliding glass door, minor electrical work etc. Cost of these projects was separate from the $700 quoted above.

Description of Work: After some plumbing repairs we needed holes in our ceiling and walls dry-walled and painted, and even some wallpaper put on. Bob and his son did the work well and were very professional and showed up on time for the appointments. They put the kilz on as well and the repairs look great.

+ 0 moreOur soap dish had been pulled from the wall by accident. Despite covering with plastic wrap, water had already saturated the wallboard and insulation behind it (in garage attic). Bob was a referral from a family member. Bob did an excellent job in fixing the problem and in finding tiles that matched the bathroom. They found the problem and spent the time to see that the original wallboard had not prevented moisture from building up and soaking the insulation behind it. They salvaged the original soap dish and found matching tiles. Everything was completed within a week and looked great. Price was as quoted.
Description of Work: Removal of tile wall in tub/shower (about 5' by 5') along with green wall and insulation. Install new insulation, backerboard, and tile to match the existing and reinstall the existing soap dish. The soap dish had been pulled off wall,

+ 3 moreThey are very prompt, courteous, and friendly. I got this all done for an upcoming home inspection as I am going to be selling my house in the near future. They have done a great job and I am very pleased. I reccomend them highly.
Description of Work: They fixed all my toilets, fixed a window, minor electrical work, fixed two heat registers, some other pluming work regarding the shut off valves, and various other things that need replaced and/or tightened up, as well as some gutter work and fixing the roof on the porch.
