Nice guy but not a good value.

These guys do their best to please. They also do light repairs which my previous pool company did not do. You may still need an automatic pool cleaner if you want your pool to be sparkling clean even though they clean once a week.

This company is awesome! The owner, Dalton, is super responsive and provides the some of the customer service I've had the pleasure of experiencing. He was a huge help to me when i needed guidance in selecting a new filter and pump. The labor only price for the installation was very reasonable. And they keep my pool sparkling clean as well. I highly recommend Dalton and his team!

The owner called me about a week later and said he didn't feel as if he had provided a fair enough service (it was a Groupon) and asked if there was anything else he could do. I thanked him and asked if they would do a weekly pool service call as I wanted to get an idea about what to expect. He agreed and scheduled the visit for the same week. He said that he felt better about "the deal" this way :) A very polite, professional young man arrived as scheduled and checked chemicals, added acid, vacuumed and skimmed the pool. I am likely to hire them when we return up north. Really great experience!

Dalton was extremely friendly when he showed up to look at our spa..I had been doing it myself but couldn't get the chemicals correct. He tested the water and told me what it needed and treated it while he was there. I offered to pay him but he said not to worry about it since it only took a minute. My wife and I will be looking for a home in a few months and we would like to buy one with a pool. Grandslam will absolutely be the company we call first for a price.

Dalton was fantastic, don't let his age fool you he actually has a quality work ethic! While he was there the pool worked fine (of course it did). He sent two of his guys over the next day to clean the pool to see if the problem repeated and they were able to replicate the sudden drop in suction once they started vacuuming. They showed me a new way to vacuum that doesn't cause the problem and were kind enough to tell me what was going on. They said I could get it fixed but since money is tight, they suggested I wait because it isn't severe enough to be a real problem as long as I vacuum using a different connection. They then proceeded to make my pool water a very inviting crystal clear. I had previously presented my concern to a different pool guy who ignored me (after I had spent a lot of money replacing the motor). Dalton was much more interested in helping and giving me quality service than up-selling me and taking my money. He also checked in with me more than once to make sure that everything went well and the pool was working again. Because he was honest and ethical, we are going to use his services every time we need help, we are also planning on having them install a pool heater as soon as we can. These guys were great!

He came on time, went right to work and was very professional. We talked as he worked and I assisted by working the air switch to insure the cycles were working. When I asked him how much I owed him, he said he really didn't do anything (he was here for an hour) and he didn't want to charge me anything. He asked that I simply post on Angie's list what I thought about his service. I wrote him a check for $50 anyway because I want to encourage honest, hard working young folks to stay that way. He called 5 days later to make sure the system was working satisfactorily.

They are excellent! They have been there and they have called us. They told us they tried to fix the light and they need to order the parts. When we called them, the next day they went and took all the calcium deposits out. While we were there in December, they didn't know we were coming and they showed up to clean, and the home watch guy has seen them there. They have been great. He has called here and said they need to do this and they have talked to the home watch guy and he said yes, they need to do that. He has been very good. It's excellent service.

We are so grateful for the exceptional service provided by Dalton and Stephen. We just bought our first home and it was a foreclosure and the pool equipment was missing and the pool had been sitting green for seven months. It was a project we did not feel capable of handling on our own, so we were very pleased to find great reviews for Grandslam on Angie's List. They came out and gave us an estimate for everything, but the $1360 estimate for parts and service was more than we had to budget for the project. Dalton went above and beyond and found us a great deal on some used equipment and got the job done for us at half price! Amazing! We are so grateful for his kindness and help! Highly recommend!

My husband and I were very happy with Steven and his professionalism, he was very knowledgeable and helpful. My husband had a stroke a few years back and he was always the one in charge of the pool. After Steven was finished installing the motor, I had asked him if he would mind cheking out the rest of the pool equipment for me. He did that and we found a couple of other issues that needed to be addressed. Dalton called me after Steven had left to be sure that we were happy with our repair and to let me know that he would have an estimate to me on the other two minor repairs, one was the pump housing and an O-ring for the filter on Monday. He called me on Monday with the estimate and we scheduled the work. Again Staven came out and made the repairs with a smile on his face. We had a couple of questions which he gladly answered for us in regards to the pool and pool service itself. Between the wonderful communication with Dalton and questions answered by Steven we are now using Grandslam Cleaning and Maintenance every week for our pool Service. We have lived in our home for almost 10 years and had always taken care of the pool and chemicals ourself. It is nice not to have to worry about that any more. This will be week 3 with the pool service and so far we are very happy and appreciative that we have found someone that is honest and fair!!! Thank you Dalton and Steven...we really appreciate it!!!

I called Grandslam Cleaning & Maintenance on a Friday afternoon. Dalton answered and was extremely friendly and professional. He sent a technician out to inspect our pool pump the next morning (on a Saturday!). As I suspected, it needed to be replaced. They had a used pump in stock and installed it for us on Monday at a greatly reduced price and with the same warranty. (The pump was only used for a week before the previous owner decided to trade it in for an upgraded pump.) The technician was very helpful and answered all of our questions. I feel that we got superior service at a superior price. I would definitely use them again in the future and recommend them to anyone needing pool repairs or maintenance.

Steve was our service guy and he was very knowledgeable and professional, and he gave us his opinion that all was working as it should and that, for a 7-year-old pool, everything was in very decent shape.

They called me immediately to set up service and told me that they could not do the repair part of the job to our hot tub that had not been maintained properly by our tenant for 3 years. They told me that they could do cleaning at a later date (but, did not mention a refund as they did not know this was available from Angie's List within 30 days as long as the job was not started). We needed the repair done first and ended up doing the clean up ourselves so that the repair guys could access the unit and detect any leaks. Angie's list would not honor a refund of our payment because 37 days had passed (which is how both of us learned about the 30 day refund policy). Upon learning about the policy, vendor provided a refund by PayPal. Good guys!

They were able to out within a week after purchasing the deal. There were no additional costs beyond the price. On the day of the scheduled appointment, they needed to push the time back and we agreed. However, they didn’t come until around 7pm and it was later than we expected. They did apologize about it and the owner even called the next day to follow up with an apology. The service they did was good and everything else worked out fine.

I am very happy with the service provided. He came to our house at 7 pm because it was the best time for us, even tho it was late he agreed with no hesitation. Explained to us what exactly he would do every month. When he left the pool was crystal clean. He even gave us the first time for free, just to show us the kind of service he will be providing. You can't beat the price. . He will continue to do our pool on a monthly basis. Thank you for everything

We used them because of Angie's List. I've been very happy with it. The pool looks better then it has been in a long time. They came when they said they were going to. They did what they said they were going to do, He seems very dependable and reliable,. The pool looks better then it has in a long time. We decided to go with his advise. We are very pleased with our decision He has sent us 3 sets of pics over the past week as we live on the East coast of Florida. The pool is coming out great!! He has gone above and beyond with not only taking care of the pool in a cost effective manor but he has also helped us find someone to pressure wash the house and maintain the lawn. We are hiring him to maintain the pool for us on a monthly basis as well.

A few days before we contacted Dalton we noticed that our pool was somehow sucking air and not allowing our pump to run correctly. First we bought a new filter cartridge and tried making some adjustments to fix it or figure out why or where the leak was. There was no fixing it. We needed to call a professional:( I called a few of the known companies (Pinch a Penny, Keller, Leslie's) to see their prices and see how fast they could get out. They were all around $80-95 and that was just to get them there. They also charged hourly + labor after their initial price. After all of the pricing, they couldn't get out to the house for at least 3 days. I then remembered that I was a member of Angie's list and that I should check their list of providers. They had a lot, but I ended up choosing Grandslam for 2 reasons. Fist off, they had a big deal ad. That wasn't enough to convince me though, because anyone can offer a good deal, but their service stink! When I was reading about the company and their values, that is where I found reason 2. I loved reading that they are founded upon Biblical Principals and honesty. That was the main reason for calling them. After calling them to see if I could use the big deal on our pool problem, I purchased the big deal. I paid $44 for Grandslam to come out to our house and fix the problem. Not only was the price fantastic, I only had to wait a day for them to come out. They were EXTREMELY friendly and explanatory. My husband and I stood there and watched and asked questions the whole time for our own information. Dalton, the owner, did not become impatient with us for asking so many questions. He finally found and fixed the problem. Worked out great for us!! We definitely recommend using Grandslam for your pool needs. They also offer pool servicing which we decided to use!

The owner of Grandslam Cleaning & Maintenance came a week later to check the bigger pool problem (w/o charging) and suggested me to call somebody else, who would be able to check underground possible crack in PVC pipes. My 4 pool's jets pushing lot of air into my pool and there is NO ANY suction to clean pool. My pool water turned dark green. The problem still NOT resolved.

They do a great job and would recommend them. All the team is very professional and helpful.

After purchsaing a big deal with Grandslam Cleaning & Maintenance, I have hired them to service my home once a week . They are very professional and the responsiveness is great. Their quality of work is wonderful. I would recommend this company to anyone.

They completed everything that was included in the Big Deal. They cleaned the filter and that alone was worth the cost of the service. I had a few questions for the young man that came to my home and he was not able to answer them so he said he would follow up. I received a call from the owner and he called and offered a free service call and he was willing to answer any questions. They are very dedicated to customer service and I would recommend them to anyone that asked.

The service is excellent. They come every week and do an excellent job, the water is sparkling and clean. The cost is very reasonable. When I first signed up for the service they gave me 2 weeks free to see if I liked their work. That alone was incredible as no pool company had ever done that before. I am very happy with their work.
