Description of Work: They installed a 22Kw back-up generator for my home. The work was done very professionally and it passed the city inspection with no problems.

Description of Work: I had an emergency with smoke coming out of my light fixture. Another vendor that I use sometimes said they could fix it in a couple of days just keep the breaker off. Dan's philosophy was, when there is smoke it could be an emergency, and we will respond now. They came in short order, diagnosed the problem, fixed it and a fire was evaded. They were professional, cordial, and calming. They will be my permanent go to electrician from now on.

Description of Work: we were having problems strarting our portable generator, which had sat idle for a year, plus the starter rope had just broken. Phone estimate of $125 service call ( included 1st hour) seemed steep, but we needed it fixed. Dale came promptly as scheduled, repaired rope, checked carburetor and other things I don't understand, taking a little over an hour. Showed us how easy it was to start, and left. When my husband couldn't start it the next day, he called Dale, who came back very promptly at no charge, fixed a tiny thing he had neglected, and we have been able to start it with no difficulty every other day since.I would recommend Dan House Electric.

Description of Work: One of the spots in the kitchen would not work. Mike came out within two days and showed me my error. If I had inspected inside the socket, hard to do as I am standing on a ladder), I would have seen that a bulb had pressed a metal bit into the socket. When this piece was lifted, the bulb worked. Now I know what to do to save a service call. Dan House is still my favorite electrician.
