Description of Work: Our air conditioning unit stopped working late one evening three weeks ago.I called Best and they had a tech out within 2 hours. After diagnosing the problem and giving me a quote my wife and I decided to replace our 13 year old unit with a new one. installation was scheduled for the next morning. By noon time we were up and running. Best was on time, efficient and the price was within what I had anticipated. Thank you Best home services.

Description of Work: They removed old air conditioner & water heater and installed new HVAC system and water heater. Very pleased with the overall service of these folks.

Description of Work: Repaired heat pump. Work was done promptly and was explained to my satisfaction.

Description of Work: Installed a new AC system and ductwork, quickly, efficiently, and at a fair price. When a circuit breaker blew, which was not a part of the install, they repaired it immediately at N/C. They later came out and instructed us on use of the new thermostat and have dne three checkups on the system of which 2 were free.

Description of Work: They changed the shower connection in the bathroom...the technician really didn't explain what was wrong and exactly what needed to be done untill he had done it, and didn't say how much this would cost....I thought the cost was high,probably because I didn't know how much had to be done....not sure if I would use them again...the tech seemed to be in a hurry,even though he did replace what was needed and it corrected the problem.....but TLC was missing.....guess I expect too much....

Description of Work: They replaced a water heater in a difficult location and routed coax cable within walls to a remote, problematic location. They did the water heater over the Christmas holidays. Very expensive, but since we are out of state, it went very smoothly and was probably worth it. Hard sell on some things though was most irritating.

Description of Work: Six-month a/c check up. Service men are trained to be hard-sell salesmen. I strongly suggest a second opinion before giving in to their "recommendations" as well as paying them money to be on their "preferred customer list". I learned the hard way.

Description of Work: I used this group several times for AC and some minor electrical. They have good people at dispatch and likable folks on their service trucks. This is all positive and overshadowed by the fact that they did a poor job on my AC maintenance, allowed mold and mildew to get into the cabinet and then tried to sell me $1800 worth of UV lights to control it. Every visit they attempt scare tacticts by telling you you electrical system is not properly surge protected, or that you need some expensive add on for your AC. I believe that their technicians are on comission so the more they push on you the more they make. The end of the story is I brought in Sun Coast Air Conditioning in Lehigh Acres, they did an amazing job, fixed everything that Best had unfixed and now keep my AC unit running smoothly.
