+ -1 morePoorly. Had short window to close on home before leaving town and Survey delay ruined plans.
Description of Work: Time was of the essence in getting our survey done, and Allstate promised they could do it in 3 days. They actually ended up taking 8 days. Their reason for not getting it done on time? They sent me an email requesting advance payment prior to completing the survey. They sent the email at 4:42 pm. I didn't get payment completed in :18 minutes, so the scheduling of the survey was not done until the next day and they scheduled it for 3 business days later. The attitude from Mike when I called to ask why it wasn't done was that it was all MY fault for being so slow in payment! Btw, it was a simple survey of a 1/4 acre lot in a gated community.

+ -1 moreAbsolutely no communication - fill out the online form and someone secretly looks at your property and an magic elf e-mails the results to that there is no human interaction at all.
Description of Work: Missed the survey height by 2 feet! Caused my flood insurance to skyrocket. Tried calling 3 times!!! Easy to request service online, but IMPOSSIBLE to get someone to answer a phone call. Very frustrating - I think a simple mistake happened, but I'll be damned if anyone knows how to used a phone there.
