I sent Alan a deposit and before he even did any work he requested an additional $500 for "measurements". Really, I thought thats what I hired him for. I declined the additional $500 fee and said reduce the scope of work- he refused and then refused to refund my deposit. Then he offered to refund it less 3 hours of work @$95 and demanded I withdraw my claim from PayPal. Life is too short to deal with people like this. Remodels and construction are stressful, don't make it more stressful by hiring g this guy. I will now be taking him to small claims court to get my money back.

Alan was very easy to work with. He is very responsive to emails and phone calls and his work is very professional. I would highly recommend Alan again.
