My first bad review on Angie's List.Went for the $60 Angie's List deal,.Ken was a nice enough guy.He put in 2 slider door locks Charging $45.00 each I asked him if I could buy them anywhere before he started and he stated no,yet I see them online at Home Depot for $29.99.this morning.Be prepared to be charged for not only the $60 for them coming,but also for $80.00 labor and a big mark up on the parts.Called the company this morning to dispute and got no where.The woman insisted they had every right to charge for the service call deal and the labor.That is the first for me here on Angie's List every other company did not do that.Will go elsewhere in the future.Thank You!

Being new to the area and not knowing any locksmiths, I randomly chose a nearby provider and after one phone conversation and two follow up messages, he never showed up. Resuming my search, I Googled locksmiths and began reviewing websites and other info. A Locksmith's website invited reviews on Angieslist, and I took this to mean they care about their reputation and level of service they provide and I gave them a call. They responded immediately, made an appointment for a few days later which was exactly what I wanted. Ken showed up on time, was professional and wasted no time attending to the task of re-keying the locks on all the doors of the house we had just bought. The front door locks had previously been installed incorrectly so it was a challenge to work with them but he was able to make them right. Another door had no key and it was one we wanted the option of locking on occasion, so he made a key for that. I requested numerous copies of each key which he readily provided. I would recommend A Locksmith without hesitation and will certainly call them again if I need further locksmith services.

I called for an estimate to purchase and install a home safe. We used this company when we purchased our house in Jan of '13 to change the locks. We had the same safe purchased and installed in Louisvillle for $1200; here the cost was quoted as $1700. We shopped around and used another Angie's list company and had the safe installed for $1400.
