In September of 2017 our home was severely damaged by Hurricane Irma. The whole interior and exterior of our home would need to be renovated. As you can imagine after such a catastrophe we were overwhelmed. After extensive review and searching for contractors, I cant tell you how fortunate we were to have hired A+ Construction and Al Nazarko. We had an extensive and complicated claim process to navigate, and Al's years of experience managing insurance claim construction projects was invaluable. From the time of the storm to the settlement of our claim and renovation of our home took almost 9 months, and Al was there every step of the way for us. If I called he answered, If I emailed he replied. The level of attention and detail we received was something I have never experienced in my lifetime, and my wife and I have had 2 rather large homes built over the course of our life together. And this was while he was handling a large volume of post hurricane projects along with his regular workload. I don't know how he does it. Our home was gutted and completely renovated to include: - All new custom tile flooring throughout the home - A brand new custom kitchen with custom cabinetry, quartz counter tops, beautiful tile back splash and all new high end appliances - All new master Bath with Calacatta Marble Tile showers, frame less glass, quartz counters, free standing tub, recessed lighting and custom cabinetry - All rooms painted beautifully - All new custom 5 inch baseboard and new moldings around all doors - All new hurricane windows and sliders, to include all new architectural wood framing and window sills - All new guest bathroom with marble tile, frame less glass and custom cabinetry - All new lighting and fans throughout - All new tile roof replacement - Exterior home repairs and painting, the home looks like new! After all of this work our punch list was minimal and it was taken care of in a day! And our home came out more beautiful than we could have imagined. I cannot say enough good things about this company and Al Nazarko himself....he should add a few more pluses to his company name...my rating is A++++++!

Our experience with A+ Construction was when we sustained damage to our condo from Hurricane Irma. Al worked well with our insurance company and adjusters to help us get payment for all damages. This included meetings on site, phone calls, and emails. He worked with us to remediate water damage to floors, walls, and cabinetry, as well as to update the bathrooms. The workmanship to our condo is excellent. As a general contractor he managed all aspects of the job including plumbing, electrical, tiling, floors, painting, etc. We appreciate that he was very thorough, responsive, and timely with all communications.

Al is a sincere, patient and trustworthy person and his employees are polite and skillful. He has some great ideas and he was also open to mine. EXCELLENT work was done throughout. He was always available and easy to work with. They picked up at the end of each day not leaving a mess. The punch list at the end was taken care of immediately. I would hire Al again for anything that I need done.

Al was a very reliable contractor in a world of unreliable people. He ALWAYS responded to our calls and questions by the end of the day, if not within an hour. We always felt like we were his #1 priority. We worked together to incorporate our ideas with his experience/ideas to get a beautiful final product. His employees and companies he works with did excellent work. I would highly recommend A+ Construction and will certainly use them again in the future.

I had almost given up in despair in my quest to find a contractor to remodel my grungy, outdated master bathroom. I could write volumes on the pathetic excuses for contractors that came to my house and bid on the job. I then turned to Angies List where I should have started to begin with. I called Al and described briefly what I needed. Within an hour he was at my door. We went over my ideas for the project and I could see he had a clear idea of what was needed and how to accomplish it. Within that same day, he furnished a 12 page proposal with renderings and an estimated price and time frame to complete. He was the consummate professional contractor. The resulting bathroom was beyond my expectations. Throughout the project, Al made many suggestions for improvements to my original vision, most of which were incorporated into the final design. More amazing is the level of communication throughout. He is the only contractor I have ever encountered that returns phone calls, texts, and e-mails promptly, usually within minutes. Many mistakes were averted simply by being able to reach him immediately. Most of Al's projects are on a much larger scale. He never made me feel at any time that my little bathroom project was unimportant or any detail too small to bother with. The finished product was over budget but well worth it. I can honestly say no similar home in my area has anything to compare with it in terms of workmanship and design. Calling Al Nazarko was the best call I ever made.

It went extremely well. Was out of area for 7 weeks during that time all the work was completed. Would definitely use and recommend Al in the future.

My family is very pleased with Al Nazarko?s work. We recommend him very highly. We initially contacted A+ Construction Group to replace the shower in my father?s condo when the downstairs neighbor complained of leakage. My father is in his nineties and still living on his own, here in Florida. The insurance company initially turned down my father?s claim, insisting that the cause of the leak was not the failure of the shower pan covered by the policy. We hired Al Nazarko from a distance to give us an estimate for replacement of the shower. After inspecting the bathroom, he informed us that the problem was indeed the failure of the shower pan. He presented convincing evidence to the insurance company of the cause of the leakage and of water damage in my father's bathroom beneath the tiles. Long story short: Al got the insurance company to pay not only to replace the shower, but the entire bathroom. Al and those working under him for A+ Construction Group did excellent work. The bathroom looks very good, and everything seems solidly built and installed. What?s more, Al was especially accommodating of my father?s schedule, which I greatly appreciate. Al Nazarko was a great advocate for us, and he did excellent work.

Al has a great eye for detail and design. He made some suggestions to use stone on our kitchen island and family room wall which really added to the overall design appeal. The entire project took about 3 1/2 months after the design work for the kitchen and bathrooms was complete. This was very reasonable given the amount of work done. The workers were very neat and they kept the job site as clean as possible during the whole process. We were glad we chose not to move in until completion of the job. It was hard to stick to a budget given the scope of the project and the cost of the fixtures, cabinets and materials we chose. We might have controlled costs better if we priced everything out before we began the project and didn't make any change orders. Overall we are very satisfied with the job done by A Plus Construction.

A+ construction came in and did an amazing job. The craftsmanship, the work, the timing was worth every penny we paid; they're very articulate about their work and one can say they're perfectionist. They done all of our baseboards, crown molding, ceiling work, interior painting, arches, columns, wood work decor on a 24 foot wall and around the house, wood stair case and steps. framed windows and doors, sealed the pavers and more. Our guests and neighbors are very impressed with the work performed, their first thought is we spent more than double the actual cost; The work performed added so much more value to the house. We highly recommend their work and would refer all my family and close friends to them

We moved to Florida and didn't really know of any contractors to take care of our issues. we asked around and no one was able to recommend anyone to us. We decided to try Angie's List, luckily we hit the mother lode. We could not be happier with our choice and honestly, coming from New York, we were very skeptical of any tradesman. (It unfortunately is the NY way at times). We inquired with an number of contractors thru the LIST an Al Nazarko responded within the hour. He was able to come see the damage that evening and assess the job. We had a full plan and proposal within the week. Although other contractors did come see the job, they unfortunately were very late to the party, taking as much as 2-3 weeks to get a proposal to us. We were very anxious to get this underway as it was an insurance situation and needed lots of documentation. Al, in his vast level of knowledge was not only an expert in home construction but also with insurance claims. He worked hand in hand with me to facilitate the claim as well as giving us great information regarding claims that we were not aware of. Al has been a godsend and we are so grateful for high level of professionalism, knowledge of all crafts, and exceptional customer service. Having been in the service business myself my expectations are very high and very few ever measure up. But thrilled to say Al exceeded expectations. His attention to detail and style is unbelievable. He is always available and also offered to help us in a non related situation where he picked up a large delivery for us with his truck. We had a contractor on Long Island that we viewed like family and I am so happy to say we have found the same in Al Nazarko. Always available, always helpful & most importantly always patient with his clients. We were so satisfied with him that he is now working another large project in our new home. We reached out to Al after reading his great reviews on Angie's list. We had already gotten a few fair estimates on our home remodel project, so we expected a fair price in the range of $20k to $40k. Al arrived 45 mins late, and then did not really hear us out when he quoted us $85k for a job that we just completed at $30k. Al also informed us that our project needed us to be completely redone- after he returned from his 2 week overseas vacation.

It was clear from the start that Al and company knew exactly what to do. They not only provided the remodeling, but made numerous recommendations that dramatically improved the outcome. If your looking for quality work hire A+. In the end you get what you pay for.

They were very responsive, called back immediately, emailed, texted. They were very honest and pleasant to work with. They told me there things in my scope of work that did not need addressing/fixing. I highly recommend them.
