Great! John was punctual, professional and proficient. He kept me informed of what was needed and gave me options -- without "purchase now" pressure -- along the way. His inspection was thorough and he was more than willing to show me what he was doing and why. The consultation after the work was completed provided me with important maintenance information, as well as financial and contract information, that I surely will use in the near future. Last service call, they charged $75 per lbs of R410a. Other companies we work with - charge $30-35. Cost is around $10 ($226 per 25 lbs on Ebay). So a 650% markup. Pretty steep. So don't let you fool for reasonable labor costs, their material markup is substantial.

They come out every few months as far as our service contract goes. With this service contract it is just doing the air handler and the stuff on the outside, whatever. But they have done my air ducts, that was another service I had them do. They did a good job. Their service is fantastic. They are great people and are a great company. They are one of the more ethical companies when it comes to air conditioning. My husband is law enforcement and as a detective specializes in unlicensed contracting, which is a problem here in Sarasota. Air conditioning is a real issue because there is a lot of unlicensed contracting, there is a lot of fraud. This particular company is very good at what they do. They are fully licensed, insured and bonded and they are real good about letting us know when they discover people who are doing A/C work and are not properly licensed. So they are very good, very ethical and they are great. They don't try to pressure somebody into anything. Our system is older, but my husband thinks we will just let it limp along until it dies They know it and there is not even a question. They do a great job of maintaining it, that's why we still have it. We have a lot of seniors in this area who easily taken advantage of. If it were my mother, mother-in-law or grandmother that I needed I would recommend this company to take care of them.

Wonderful. We are new to the area and to be honest, I was overwhelmed by the number of HVAC companies in the area (we had for fewer options before). I was also concerned as it is much easier for rogue companies to get away with things in FL than MD. I know for example that companies in FL with bad reviews can just simply change their names to avoid their histories. In any case, by luck I found 7th Generation and am very happy. Jon was very professional and honest. He did not upsell me, told me what I would I could expect down the road (as my unit is old), gave me a nice discount, and did not charge anymore than my quote on either visit. Overall, I am very satisfied and would recommend them.

It was prompt. They did a good job. The only beef I have is he hung some tools on the side of my house. There is a dent in the fan. It's not a big deal I just think contractors should avoid doing damage while they are here. I would probably not use them again because there are so many air conditioner providers around here that I can try another one.

We came to discover that because the air conditioning was on during our renovation that our ducts were chock full of construction debris. After sanitizing we made an appointment for all our air conditioning vents to be cleaned.
