They arrived when promised. Foreman and workers very polite; explained what they would be doing and how long it would approximately take to complete. When questions arose or a modification needed to be made due to the lay of the land, the foreman was very prompt in notifying me. Work was completed in less time than estimated; they cleaned up all their equipment and left over supplies. Except for a new fence, you could not tell anyone had been there at all.

I went online to find a builder, contacted this company, and the owner came out and gave us an estimate. He gave us a time frame, and met his obligation. He was flexible with our decision making, and was able to accomodate us in a timely manner. We contacted him today about a gate that was unhinged, and he stated tat he would take care of it promptly.

Called for a quote. Was very prompt and friendly with no pushy sales tactics. I needed the job done by a certain time, and the company was very easy to work with. The workers came out the exact time they said they would, and worked very hard and were not rude or scary to my six kids in any way. The work was done at the time he said it would be, and I am very pleased with the job. Will use this company for all my fencing needs.

After getting quotes from several other companies for a fence for our back garden I decided to go with family fence. The quote was very competitive and mike was very professional and helpful. The guys showed up on time and done a great job - the fence is perfect and I would have no hesitation in recommending this company and would use them again.

They came out and put up the fence the week that they said they would. I love my fence! I love the gates! They are sturdy and work perfectly. They did a really great job. They had to take down the neighbors chain link fence to install my fence and then put the neighbors fence up. The reason I put the fence up was that the neighbors dogs were barking all the time and I was trying to stop the barking. After the fence was installed, I thought needed to come out towards the street about 5 inches because the neighbors' dogs were able to peek around and bark. Family fence came out and added the extra couple boards on. Then about 5 months later one of the latches on one of the gates fell apart. I called Mike from family fence and the came to the house and fixed it. No charge. They were probably the best company I have ever delt with.

The quality of the fence is top notch. Mike was good to work with, although had diminished interest in this small of a job. Nevertheless, the work was done well and they made the HOA approval process a breeze by handling that paperwork.

great. They accidently broke a sprinkler pipe...once I brought it to their attention they had a sprinkler company come out and fix it. The installer were alittle "harsh" when they cut back my plants to install the fence but that's the only issue i had. I would use they again!

He showed us right when he was supposed to, and was also very professional. I was happy with their estimate and plan on using them again soon.

Family Fence was extremely professional and friendly. The owner showed up on time and gave a us the best estimate out of all the estimates we had gotten. The actual fence was installed in one day and looks beautiful. The owner was extremely nice and patient about getting our final payment well after the job was completed. I would not hesitate to recommend Family Fence to anyone and I would certainly use them again.

We had a white vinyl fence installed in the back yard. Mike came out and did the measurements in a timely fashion. He made a couple recommendations based on some large oak trees on the right side of our property line and then we were able to move forward. On the install day, the team arrived about 9:30 and worked almost constantly until the task was completed around 4:00. I requested they leave the left side panel, approx. 6', open so the irrigation and sod teams that were coming the following week would have easy access to the backyard. (The side with the gate has gravel and I determined it would be much easier and there would be no need to rework the gravel side if this was done). Mike said it would be no problem and he would come out when the other teams were done and finish it. I called him the day everything was completed and the next day when I came home for lunch he had finished the job.

Mike worked with my HOA to make sure they had everything they needed to get the approval. And he had someone out within 24 hours of getting that approval to put up the fence. He was professional, courteous and really, really helpful. And the guys he sent to do the actual work were unobtrusive and accomplished their work much quicker than expected.

Family Fence was excellent and prompt from the get go. We submitted a request for a free estimate on their site late on a Friday night and were called promptly on Monday. Mike came out within a day or two and gave us his estimate for both vinyl and wood fencing. Our deposit (half the estimate) was sent via mail and we were called quickly to schedule the install in a day. Normally there's a two week window for fence installation, but they happened to have an opening. They came, they tore down, they put up the wood fence and gates - all in one day. A few of the boards were a little wonky and these were duly marked - workers came out later in the week to replace these. We completely love our fence! It was well worth it and have gotten a few drive-by compliments.

One of the best job experiences we ever had ! Mike came when he said he would, provided samples,& estimate, to which I later added more fence & gate.The price was very reasonable.His crew arrived when he said they would, put in a very long day, & did an amazing job ! They obviously are very skillful & experienced & couldn't have done a better job! Any change or request I had they answered with a no problem attitude. Everyone was very friendly & courteous during the entire process and cleaned up afterwards. I highly recommend this company!

After reading the positive Angie?s List reviews for Family Fence, I decided to request an estimate to remove an existing fence and install a new PVC fence. Mike Kennedy arrived as scheduled to provide the estimate, explain installation procedures, and presented samples of the vinyl fence. Mike was very professional and I felt very comfortable dealing with him. The installed price of the new fence was about what I expected and we scheduled an installation date. The crew (two men) arrived on time to install the new fence. Mike also stopped by to ensure everything was going smoothly. The crew quickly ? and I mean quickly ? removed the old wooden and chain link fences and installed the new PVC fence. Total time to remove and install the new fence was about seven hours. The workers were very polite and extremely efficient. They did a great job installing the new fence and removed all debris from my yard when the installation was complete Mike phoned the next morning to ensure all went well and that I was completely satisfied with the new fence. I could not happier with the new fence and I have absolutely no reservations about recommending Family Fence.

Job went great. They showed up on time. Staked out the new fence area, went over in detail with me, cleared away the old fence, dropped in all the posts and finally, put on all the boards. Good crew and fast service--9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and they were done. Awesome job of very high quality. Top notch work. Only glitch was that because of neighbors fences, we went "pretty" side facing in thinking it was our option. WRONG. Beware in the city of Tampa that it must be pretty side out. If needed, Family Fence is willing to fix the situation by adding boards to the other side. Mike has been great to work with and even took the lead on some important calls. Family Fence has been a great company to do business with, we're very happy.

The overall experience went well. Mike efficiently provided an estimate and scheuduled the work. He provided meaningful information and advice regarding the gate size, quality of materials, and other fence matters. His crew built the fence, as opposed to premanufacutured panels. The fence is solid and for the most part level. The gate, however, is slightly unlevel, leaving an uneven gap when closed. Mike was understandable about this concern and sent his crew to rectify the problem. They added a vertical board to the gate post, which helped. I would have prefered the gate was level, but cannot complain since I understand the difficulty of constructing things perfectly and considering everything else went as expected.

The installers thought they were doing board on board instead of shadowbox but we discussed the plan before the work was begun so no harm done. They built the fence on site, tossed any bad boards so none were installed, used concrete on the posts. The workers were efficient, polite, and cleaned up well. The fence is even, secure, and no damaged wood was found. I am very pleased with Family Fence.

Even though we experienced some delay due to obtaining HOA approval, Michael was very patient and worked well with us during this time. Once approval was given, Michael quickly ordered all material and immediately upon its receipt Adam and Jesse arrived as scheduled to do the installation. They were very thorough and worked quickly and accurately to instal the fence. The did a good job and cleaned up the area fully once they were completed.

Everything was wonderful. The owner, Mike, came himself and showed that he really cares about his business and he cares about his customers. He is prompt and professional, and oversaw the job himself as well. The quality of the work was excellent. My fence is the envy of the neighborhood--with the exception of my neighbor, who contracted with Family Fence as well. The wood they use is high quality, and they are a very honest company. He does not try to up-sell you, and I appreciate his honest about what exactly I needed. After going through the list and finding several companies who offered what we wanted, we found him to be very forthcoming, and I am not surprised that he is so highly rated and well thought of. Where other companies only offer a limited warranty, he automatically offers a substantial warranty, which to me is an important selling point. His prices are also very fair, and you get more than you pay for. They pull all necessary permits for you, where other companies will make you get it yourself, and they really went above and beyond. It is a family owned and operated company, which I appreciate, and I have been extremely happy with them.

Fully understood the specifications for what we wanted. He listed all of our requirements on the contract and met each one. Worked with us well. Answered all of our questions. He understood full well that we were coming off of a very bad bait-and-switch experience with Tampa Fence and so he sympathized with our situation and gave us no problems at all delivering exactly what he promised. His installers had an excellent attitude. You hardly see this anymore with labor quality. But his installers didn't blink and eye or make a frown or anything at all like that. They worked with us to install the fence beautifully as if it was their own home. If you want honesty and no attitude go with Family Fence.

They always responded very quickly. They weren't the cheapest, but they were the most reasonable price, as far as still getting good quality. They did everything in one day and worked around my schedule easily. When they dug to put the post in, they didn't fill the holes fully. Other than that, it was well done.

Easy from start to finish. Initiated company through Angies list and email. Mike replied promptly and we set up a date to meet at the house and discuss options. He was professional and helpful. Gave ideas, measured and reviewed my village regulations. I called him when I got approval and as he said originally, it was approx 2 weeks. Overall we were very pleased with the job. The workers arrived right on time and had our existing fence removed in no time. Additionally, the installation of the PVC fence went smoothly and the workmanship was very professional. I would highly recommend this company.

I did a lot of checking around on the internet for prices and references. Overall Family fence was the cheapest and had excellent references on Angies list so I decided to use them. I was glad I did. The fence came out beautiful. My little dog has fiquered out how to get under the first day though, so I would not recomend vinyl for familys with a small dog. We are going to have to add concrete all beneath 100 ft of fencing! The installers did a very good job with making the fence look level even though the yard is very uneven. Mike was always available to answer any questions I had either via phone or emails. All and all a very pleasant experience.
