Very professional and good service. Quality of the fence seems well done. There was a delay in the shipment of the fence, but we were given a discount for the delay. Once the fence arrived, it was put in that day. We highly recommend this company.

After getting estimates from a few other companies, Family Fence Co. (FFC) came in with the best bid. During my research for fencing, i found out that FFC does a lot for the comunity which also helped my decide on them. Mike and his team showed nothing but the upmost professionalism and courtesy when working at my home. The fencing needed to match an existing PVC fence running along the rear of our property and FFC matched it exactly and the install went so smooth (in and out in one day). I am extermely happy with the results and would definitely use them again and feel confident in referring them to friends, family and other angie's list people living in Hillsborough county.

Family fence is an excellent company. Mike and his crew arrived promptly and ready to work. They had our old rotted out wood fence removed and our new PVC fence put up in one day. They kept the work clean and neat and were courteous and kind. The cost of the fence was very reasonable and included labor. All in all I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a new fence.

I don't know why anyone would hire a company that doesn't even bother to show up to an appointment and showed no remorse in not making the appointment. The owner didn't care whether he got my business or not. So if you want a company who doesn't show up for appointments and makes no attempt to rectify their mistake than this is the company for you.

Very professional service. Family Fencing told us it would be about two weeks from the time we ordered to the time they would install and they were right on target. They completed the entire job in one day! Very satisfied.

I called Michael Kennedy at Family Fence and he was out within two days to meet me after work and provide a proposal for the work. At that time, he told me that it would be about two weeks before installation could begin. Then he was able to have his team out there the very next week to commence installation. The workmen were punctual, courteous and immediately went about their work. They were able to complete the work in less than four hours and did a great job. After a couple days, we noticed the gate latch wasn't responding properly. I called Michael, and the very next day he had a man out, Greg, and promptly made the adjustments. It was a great experience, and I will call on Family Fence again for any future fencing needs.

We just bought a house and we needed a fence installed on both sides. It was a small job so I was worried about "interest". Quote was easy to get and the PM did a good job communicating and dealing with weather issues. The installers did a great job arriving on time (late afternoon). We identified that our buried cable was close on one side, and they took proper care in making sure they didn't cut the line.

Michael Kennedy from Family Fence scheduled an estimate visit a few days after my initial call. He was polite, well mannered and informative. His estimate for my job was $50 more than the low bid; however, his estimate for my neighbor's job (which was tough due to a large hedge immediately in front of the fence) was substantially lower than the competition. We both scheduled our fences to be done on the same day; the "wait" time for installation was about 2 weeks. They require 50% down. Jesse and his crew showed up precisely at 8:00 am. They removed both fences in about 2 hours and 30 minutes and finished the entire job (230 feet of fence) by 3:30 pm the same day. The quality of installation was excellent.

Overall, we are very happy with the work that Family Fence did for us. I found the company on Angie's list. Mike was able to come out to provide a quote very quickly, was on time, professional, knowledgeable. Compared to other quotes we received, Mike's was very competitive. He quickly completed the paperwork necessary for our HOA approval and scheduled the installation shortly upon approval from our HOA. The installation was conducted by a crew of 2 men. They checked with us to confirm where and how we wanted the gates to be installed and worked very hard to complete the work within one day, as promised. Once completed, the fence itself looked great, however, they left a lot of soil all along the fence line instead of cleaning it up. After they left, we noticed that one of the fence panels appeared a bit crooked, and some of the picket tips were not glued on. I let Mike know about the minor issues and he promised to send someone out to address our concerns. A few days later, another very professional gentleman came out and corrected the pickets and cleaned up all the excess soil. All in all, we are very pleased with the end result and would definitely use Mike's company again as well as recommend it to others.

Mike from Family Fence came out to give us a quote. He was prompt and thorough with the quote. He responded to all of our questions and his crew did an excellent job with the installation.

Mr. Kennedy's crew was ontime and worked diligently to complete my fence. They were able to complete my fence under the timeframe that I was originally told about which was GREAT!. Everything exceeded our expectations. We were remodeling our entire house and all the workers at the house couldn't believe how quickly they fenced in our very large backyard. It took less than a day. They even built the wood fence from scratch! No pre-fab. I would highly recomment Mike at Family fence and his team to anyone. They even came back out after installing the fence to make sure everything went well and brought us an additional lock for one of our gates at no charge. We couldn't be happier! Thanks Mike!

I found the company on Angie's list. I did not meet in person due to work conflicts. He came out and measured and gave me a quote immediately. i paid half upfront and half when they were done. The work was great, the fence looks great and was installed perfectly. The only slight issue, and the reason I gave them a B for professionalism, was the lack of advance notice of the install date. I was told they would install in a few weeks and I would receive a call with an exact date. I had planned to let my neighbors know in advance so they could move any plants or personal items on their side of the fence. However, they ended up installing within a week of the bid and I didn't receive a call telling me they were moving up the installation until a few minutes before they arrived. I was at work and I was called that they were on their way to install the fence. I was in a meeting and could not call my neighbors, as i had not even let them know I was getting a new fence. One set of neighbors was a little miffed about it, the other was fine. So, I had to apologize to my neighbors for not informing them in advance. Like I said, not a real big deal...but I would have preferred advance notice for the install date. Otherwise, the company was very professional, great quality of work, cleaned up well and the fence is perfect!!

The man we talked to was nice, friendly, and seemed very knowledgeable about fencing. The estimated price seemed fair, and they offered to do the fencing in a very prompt time, but in the end we decided to go with another company. We would certainly recommend Family Fence Company to others. The materials and technique the company we went with were more in keeping with what we wanted than any other company we talked to. Otherwise I think Family Fence would be an excellent company to hire. I wouldn't have answered the questions if we would hire again or if they performed the services if it wasn't required. We wouldn't hire again because we didn't hire them and they didn't perform the work because of that. They did give us an estimate and were prompt and professional. I think that they would be a good and reliable company to work with.

What a great company to do business with! From the estimate to completion it couldn't have been better. Mike was wonderful and the 2 men that did the fence were great! In hindsight I'm ashamed to say I don't recall their names. I am thankful to have found them on Angie's List after signing up admittedly to check out a couple other companies I had estimates from. Do yourself a favor and give Family Fence a call before signing with anyone else. They offered suggestions that not only improved on the original plans from another company but will make this fence layout much more usable and enjoyable for years to come. Awesome job! We had Mike install a black aluminum fence for us, and it looks great! We had contracted with Mike a few years ago at our previous home, and knew that we would definitely have Mike do the install for this fence at our new home. Mike's crew goes above and beyond and were very professional. Mike was very fair on the price of the install. In fact, because of an HOA restriction on the length of the fence, Mike's crew had to shorten the length of the fence by a couple feet. After the job was done, we were ready to pay the agreed upon price, but Mike called me to let me know that since the fence had to be shortened, he was deducting $75 off the bill for us. I thought this was very professional on his part because most companies probably wouldn't have offered the deduction unless the customer brought it up first. Mike and his crew are first class all the way!

Representative came to my home on a Friday, measured the existing fence and gave me a quote for replacing approximately 100 feet of fence. He called back later in the day to say they had a cancellation and could do the work on Monday at 9:00 AM. On Monday, the workmen arrived around 8:30 AM and completed the project in about two hours. They were very efficient and cleaned up the yard afterward. I contacted the representative and paid with a credit card. All in all, a quick and pleasant experience.

We made arrangements, with half down (something I typically do not do, but I trusted Mike) to have the work done in a couple of days. Mike called me the night before to confirm and his team showed up 15 minutes early the next morning, they were friendly and I could tell they wanted to get to work. While I was showing one of the guys exactly what I wanted, the other guy was already carrying the concrete bags out to the project area!! I had an existing fence that when removed, I asked the guys to please stack it in the driveway, as I had sold it on Craigslist. I was expecting the old fence to have huge concrete blocks attached, but when I got home, every bit of that fence was neatly stacked up againist a tree, screws and bolts all bagged, with all the concrete removed from the posts!!!!! I was shocked that these guys took the time. When I checked out thier work it was amazing, I could not believe that they had installed 140' of fence, removed and stacked the old fence and cleaned everything up in only 6 hours!!! Then I checked out thier handy work, truely top notch! The fence is beautiful, well made and will last for years. I will let anyone I know, know about the quality of work, decent price and the professional results I got from Family Fence. Thanks Mike

From the start to the finish, the job was perfect. All time commitments were kept from the bid through the installation. Fence and gates are solid and very well built. Crew did a great job. I am very pleased with the entire transaction.

Overall they did the job very well. They did a very good job more than we had anticipated. In fact we realized that there was an issue with one of the gates and they sent somebody out the very next day and they resolved it. They were punctual and the price was right there at the ball park because we had some other estimates. So we were pleased. We will absolutely use their services again in the future.

They came out quickly for an estimate, which was the best I received. I was told they guaranteed the work would be done within 2 weeks, but they would try to schedule me earlier if I had to have it before then. I didn't, since they were replacing an existing fence. But they had a cancellation, so my fence was up within two days of receiving the estimate. One week from initial phone call to completed job. Since I work an hour plus away from home, all my dealings were with the owner over the phone and I wasn't home when the work was done. However, the owner, Michael Kennedy, was very pleasant and accomodating, the fence looks great. I'm very pleased with the end result and their service was excellent.

Not only were they the best price but the product and installation is great! When the others stated that it would cost more or no change in price for what I wanted, Mike gave me the best price. I had a lot of questions and Mike answered them all quickly and efficiently. The crew came on time, were professional and polite. They got to work and did not stop until it was done to my satisfaction. I am hoping my neighbor goes with Family Fence also. I haven't had the fence in for 24 hours yet and am getting lots compliments. Look great.

Very pleased with the gate. They did a professional job and clean up. I would recommend Family Fence to anyone. My gate had a gap and I called Mike and they came out and fixed it.

Spoke with owner and relayed that I was interested in getting an estimate on fence repair. Fence had been put in about ten years ago with green posts and they are now bowing – causing problems with panels in between. He was extremely courteous and let me know that for the economic cost, I would be much better off using another service he works closely with rather than his service since they (Family Fence) primarily install new fences. He conveyed that he would be happy to come out and give me an estimate, but for the cost effectiveness of the situation – I would be better off with the other service. They would give me an honest opinion whether just repairs were required or the entire fence needs to be redone. Really liked the integrity he offered over the phone.
