Actually was going to use another company, but they never got back to me about a date, so I said I'd get a few more estimates. Matt came out and gave me an estimate that was on par with everyone else's and said he had an opening 2 days later. Sold! The guys arrived on schedule, worked throughout the day (thank goodness for no rain), and were finished by end of day. New 5ft gate with reinforcement is great. My backyard looks new. Great job. Good followup, good results.

Family Fence Company was extremely professional from the free estimate to the fence completion. They arrived on schedule, reviewed my survey as well as the property and discussed any potential issues I might have or would require my input. It was a 5-man crew, worked through the day efficiently, and were done by end of day. I can't ask for better service. Great job.

The three gentleman who performed the job showed up timely, and were very professional and friendly. They did an excellent job with the fence! It's beautiful and we thought they were very good at their job.

The appointment was setup, and I asked them to call before coming. I was 10 mins away when they called from my house. He seemed irritated that I was no there. I asked him to just start taking measurements and I would be right there. After I arrived, I showed him exactly what I wanted & he came back with something different. I went with another company that was patient to listen to what I was requesting.

We had 4 neighbors involved and Mike was able to satisfy the needs of us all. I had some sprinkler issues once the job was done, I had my sprinkler guy come over and Family Fence took care of the $200 that it cost for repairs. They were great to work with and was quick to return any calls. Thank you to Mike and all the hard working employees that installed the fence.

A friend recommended Family Fencing Company to me so I called them up to get a free estimate. I was hesitant to use this company because when I got the free estimate Greg measured my yard; he gave me two estimates as I requested - one for the entire yard and one for just one side of the fence that was falling down. When he was through writing up the estimate he handed the paper to me with both estimate options. He didn't give me a chance to look it over or even ask questions. He just said if I had any questions to call the number on the form. He seemed like he was in a hurry to leave. The reason I went ahead and went with this company is because my friend said she was happy with her fence and she had to call them out a couple times and they fixed her issues without any problems. Another reason why I chose them was because they have an "A" rating with the BBB and was also rated "A" on Angie's List. As well as, having really good reviews. I was happy how soon they were able to schedule me an appointment. I was not given an approx. time when they would be there to install the fence, I was told they would call before arriving, but I never received a call. Surprisingly, two men arrived about 8:45 AM to install the fence. They were very friendly. They were very professional and answered the questions we had. I was amazed how quickly and efficient they put up the fence. It looks great! I am very pleased and satisfied with the work they did and would definitely hire them again. 11/12/2014 I was walking in the back yard and noticed a small hole at the bottom of the vinyl fence. I contacted Family Fence Company to see if they could replace and fix the panel. They came out 11/14/2014 and fixed the fence without any problems or hassel free of charge. I was happy with their quick response to replace the cracked vinyl panel. I am very pleased I chose this company and would definitely recommend them, as well as, use them again.

Overall the process went very well. The quote happened very quickly (I believe it was the same day I called) and we agreed to move forward with Family Fence Company shortly after the initial quote. The first day they were scheduled to do the work, the installation crew realized that the person that had been out for the quote didn't provide all the necessary details to make sure they knew exactly what the crew was getting into with our HOA requirements for the fence design. We agreed that we needed to check with our HOA and they would come back another time to make sure that the HOA was ok with our proposal which was slightly different than the original. The second occasion they were scheduled to complete the work the weather did not cooperate. Finally, the third time was the charm and the crew had our old fence out before I could blink! The new fence started going up and the carpenter asked questions and made sure they knew what we wanted and we made sure to keep an eye on things. Everything went fairly well considering this was the first time they'd completed a fence like ours and they were done before the end of the day. After a week or so we noticed that there was a bit of a gap in one spot in each fence panel so we called back and asked if they'd be willing to fill in the gap to make sure that spot didn't warp on each panel. After some scheduling and weather difficulty everything worked out and the crew was back out and filled in the gaps without any issue. They also straightened one fence post that was a tad bit crooked. All in all, this was a good experience and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to people looking to get work done. I would just recommend to maintain regular communication, ask lots of questions and do all the things people should do to be good customers.

Salesman was scheduled to come out by 9 am. I was called and informed he would be late due to traffic. Great communication there. He arrived and went over everything with me. Answered all my questions and gave me a good price. The only reason I did not use them was because the other company had done work for a neighbor and I was able to see the work that would be done.

They were great. They were right here when they said they would. They did what they said they are going to. They did give us our coupon. They were workaholic. In one day, all the property was fenced. The way they did their measurement was unbelievable. They took a survey map.

Fence looks great. However, we are in an attached villa and the end post was put against the neighbors part of the villa. Our call to Family Fence went well. They are going to try to schedule Thursday to come fix the problem. More info on how it went later.

The crew arrived on time however with the wrong fence type (galvanized). Good thing I took the day off or they would have installed the wrong fence. Three men arrived but only one spoke English. I called the office and was told they would have to come back on Tuesday! Not acceptable. Two men stayed on site to remove the wood fencing while the third man travelled all the way back to the office (over an hour away) to get the correct fencing. While he was gone, the other men surveyed the property, found the correct location for the fence and dug the post holes. After a few rain delays (ugh!) the fencing arrived and was installed. One gate was not available and they will return this week to install it. I called the office and will get $300 office the total price. Update: When they returned to install the missing gate they didn't have the correct size gate. I also asked them to flip the gates around so they opened the other direction. In making this correction the fence was damaged in that some of the vinyl was scratched off. They sent out ANOTHER CREW the next day to install the gate and replace the damaged areas. When they called to collect the final payment they initially overcharged my credit card (even after I verified the price) but then credited the overage back. I have mixed feelings about Family Fence. Ultimately the work was completed to my satisfaction but the journey to get there was unreasonable and challenging. This included multiple phone calls and took about 2 weeks from start to finish. I spoke with Mike (owner) and Greg (manager?) several times in order to get problems resolved, but this did not always fix the issues as Mike tends to talk over you.

I was disappointed that they sent an inexperienced employee to provide a quote. Ultimately, they company was unable to perform the service that the sales person said that they could, and even provided a written quote for.

Could not be more pleased. Mike, owner, had to fight with City of Winter Haven FL. WH is very hard to deal with and since we were the first job they had ever done here they ran him through the gauntlet. He offered to refund and add additional monies back to us for the delay. I convinced him that I was confident that he would get through the city mess. He did satisfy all of city requirements and as a thank you to us provided upgraded material and quantity as a gesture of his gratitude for hanging in in with him Again, could not be more pleased. Fast, efficient, friendly and perfect workmanship is what we experienced. Would highly recommend Family Fence as a company that has high values and over-the-top customer service. Do not hesitate to contact them if you are considering products and work of this type.

Quote was done by Family Fence rep Jim Wilson. He was prompt and professional in the quoting process showing up on time. Fence crew arrived as planned, on time, and with all necessary equipment. Job was completed in one day but they had to return a couple of times to redo the tension wire at the bottom of the new fence. Mike at Family Fence had the problem corrected and knocked off $100 from the bid price due to the issue with the tension wire. All in all a nice job done by an honest company.

We had a rough experience of having no permit pulled by the company for our fence and the fence was not installed to city code. We brought this to Mike's attention and he immediately scheduled workmen to flip all of the fence boards. This is a 170' fence, so was not an easy fix, but the guys finished it very nicely. We need to get the permit inspected and finalized, but they did the right thing by us. This is a good bunch of people who admitted a mistake and fixed it.

I first want to say that I really did some homework on buying a vinyl fence. I shopped around and got 5 different estimates. I received a lot of information about vinyl fencing. Mike from Family Fence answered all my questions. Family Fence's quote was the lowest. The next closest quote was $750 more for the same product on up to $2,000 more for a quote from Lowes (although they did install my granite counter tops at a reasonable price). I didn't choose Family Fence because they were the cheapest. It made sense, as they offered what everyone else was offering at the same price. Also, they had excellent reviews here on Angies List. The fence that was installed is good quality. I have a section in the back that is 120 feet long and is straight as an arrow. All of the fence is level. They concrete each post and screw the rails in so they don't slide out. I can say that I have no issues with the product at all. After the install was done, I realized that I needed a small section for my trash can. I called Mike and he said he would send a crew out within a week. They came out about a week later and the 4 foot tall section looks great. I received a voice mail a few days later stating that I didn't owe him for the small section. He said since it took a little longer than he initially said, that it was free. I was genuinely surprised. This usually doesn't happen in the real world. Overall, I am more than happy with my purchase. I feel that I received a quality product with good service at a reasonable price.

It was NOT a good experience. Greg came out to provide an estimate and had a negative attitude from the start because he felt the job was small and not worth the time. I explained that I wanted an estimate for a double 6ft aluminum gate across the driveway with remote control. He asked if I wanted two remotes and told me that it would be ready to go but I would need to hire an electrician to hook it up to power. He gave me the estimate and again I asked if it included the gate being remote and once again he told me yes. When I got an estimate from another company I noticed that this other company wrote out everything and the estimate Greg gave me had only the price. I contacted the office and asked for verification on the estimate and was told that the remote would be $5,800 more. I couldn't believe it..I was very clear about what I wanted and Greg repeated it back to me and told me it would be ready to go except for the electrician. The only reason I didn't rate this company/experience as an F as perhaps with a different salesperson the experience would be different. If you contact this company for an estimate, double check and do get other estimates as I found another company on Angies list that was a lot more reasonable.

On time, quick install, professionally managed. Could not have been more pleased.

We purchased a house with two different kinds of old fencing around two sides of the backyard and no fencing on the third side. Family Fence removed the old fence from one side of the yard and installed the new fencing down both sides to completely fence in the back yard. They were prompt and got the job done in less than half a day. They were very happy to do a smaller job and did all the paperwork to submit to our HOA. Once it was approved, they scheduled us the same week for installation. The fence looks wonderful and we would highly recommend this company.

Overall, this was a good job. We had just a few issues (for transparency purposes, we did not relay these to the company...we just let it go). For the price and the small overall size of the area we fenced, I expected higher quality wood. I noticed imperfections. Now, I'm not a wood expert, so maybe this is normal. Also, the handle/lock on the gate is a little cumbersome. I expected to be able to lock the gate somehow, but it turns out I hod to go out and purchase a padlock to do so. Last issue is the installation. The gentleman who came over to the house to scope the project created a drawing of how we wanted the fence installed. Luckily, I decided to come home early the day of the installation because the fence installation was not following what we wanted. However, once I told the gentleman in charge of the install what we wanted, they fixed the issue.

Punctual, courteous, excellent price, excellent knowledge of codes and their product line. Installed the fence on time despite plenty of root systems, and with zero complaint. Able to handle specialty items like sliding gates with vinyl. If Angies list had an A+ rating, they would receive it from me.

All went well. The work was completed to our satisfaction, in fact, better than that because the service person took the initiative to replace all of the screws at no cost to us.

They did a fabulous job from start to finish! The owner Mike was available every single time I called him. I couldn't be happier!

These guys are awesome!! They did way better then i expected. Looks great... finished fast..right price. I highly recommend!

I am extremely pleased with the way the fence turned out. The crew was very fast and thorough.
