They were great!! Super polite, quick and courteous. I shopped around for a great value and this was it. The gentleman who came to give me a quote was very friendly and helpful. Once we paid our deposit the fence was up in no time. It’s sturdy and beautiful and we couldn’t be happier. The company has a real family friendly vibe to it. They care more about quality and their reputation than just throwing up fences. We are super happy with our decision and I will be recommending Family Fence to our neighbors, family and friends.

Family Fence is amazing. If you are considering any other company, just quit. We had three companies come out to quote us. Jim came out with Family Fence, was the most professional and straight forward. No nonsense. We only had to fence in half our yard as the neighbors already did theirs (also used Family Fence) and two companies quoted us 44% than Family Fence. The other company’s explanation was “you are requesting less product so the discount will not be as large as if you were fencing in the whole yard”. Family Fence then handled everything from start to finish with our HOA and followed up to ensure the HOA was processing the approval request. Once confirmed by the HOA I called Family Fence expecting to wait 2-4 weeks for someone to install and we had an appointment for 72 hours later – keep in mind 48 hours of it was a Saturday & Sunday. At the end of the day quality and appearance is what you are looking for in a review and we could not be happier. Simply put, just stop looking and call Family Fence!

Fantastic company with super nice employees!

Family Fence has good quality product, great office staff and prompt sales staff but they have a problem with their installation crew. If you've tried to get a quote for a fence lately then you know it's very hard to get someone to even come out to give you a quote within any reasonable timeframe. We contacted three fence companies and Lowes. Family Fence was a breeze to get an appointment with, came to give a proposal within a week and had a professional packet with options. Their office staff (especially Dejuan) is very kind and responsive. A sales person came out and gave me a thorough rundown of options. We placed an order for a 50ft run of 6ft aluminum fencing with gate and a 30ft run of white vinyl with gate and paid a 50% deposit. Old fence was removed and hauled away for $195. The sales person missed including one gate that we discussed. To be fair, it was a very involved, hard to read, hand-written quote and I missed seeing that one gate had been left off the quote. Aluminum fence was a special order and came five weeks later. The installers arrived several hours late for their appointment and barely spoke English which made communicating difficult when I realized the gate hadn't been ordered. I called the office, who advised they install everything on hand, securing my yard and ordered the gate to be installed later. I was charged an additional $250 for the missing gate. Gate came in two weeks later and was scheduled for installation on a Friday afternoon. The installers never came or called. After I called the office for an update, Dejuan replied promptly and rescheduled me for first appt the next day (Saturday morning) between 9:30-10. Installers were again a no-show. I contacted the office, which was closed on Saturday. Installers finally arrived at around 2. Fortunately I was home. When I told them they were late, they reacted with surprise and said no one told them they were supposed to be there first thing. Overall, I'm very happy with the quality of the fencing and the installation was done well. I would reluctantly use Family Fence again since they were the only one out of four companies (including Lowes) to follow through on coming to give quotes and proposals. Pricing was very similar to Lowes.

I would recommend Family Fence for any fencing need. I had @ 70ft of vinyl fencing installed with 2 gates. They did the job and cleaned up afterwards. The price of the job was very reasonable for the job.

Timely, professional, thorough. First crew made a few errors and was quickly corrected by second crew.

Person I called for a quote had a complete lack of interest and seemed irritated that I called for a quote.

We chose this company, despite it’s slightly higher prices, based on the gentleman that did the original estimate. He was very thorough and professional but that’s where those qualities ended. The installation crew arrived approx. 2 hours late but did complete the work quickly, however, there were some issues. The only issue with the fence itself was that the flat caps were not glued on, an annoyance more than anything else. My real problem was with the utter lack of cleanup that was done. The new fence was left in a filthy condition and the amount of debris left behind from my old fence was staggering. No attempt whatsoever to make it appear presentable. I called to complain and another crew was sent out the next day. That crew only partially glued the flat caps and performed absolutely no cleanup. I undertook the cleanup myself because I was already tired of dealing with them. I discovered large amounts of old concrete, wood pieces, concrete bags and other debris buried underneath mounds of dirt along the fence line. Numerous pieces of said concrete were also shoved under my shed in a failed attempt to try and hide it. Did they really think I wouldn’t notice it? And apparently the crew are allowed to smoke while on he job because my yard was littered with cigarette butts. It also took 3 phone calls just to get my receipts emailed to me. I have another 113’ of fence that needs to be installed but I won’t be using Family Fence. Use them at your own risk!

Very pleased overall and although mistake was made due to misunderstanding. I did not read closely the work plan/contract that did not include door. The door was however discussed at time of estimate. The company extended courtesy and after construction returned to install the door without further cost.

The process was seamless from start to finish. The crew that did the install was incredible. They worked without break and almost no chit chat. They just simply got to work and did what needed to be done. They were neat and efficient and made what could have been a stressful experience, a very easy one. Thanks to the three of them.

The workers showed up on the day scheduled. There was three issues I noticed right off the bat that I wasn't very pleased with, one the gap left under the fence, two a whole section of the fence was not nailed in the middle and three one of the boards was split. I called family fence and advised them of my concerns and they said they would send the guys back out to take care of the issues. A couple of days later they came (I was not at home) and only attached boards to the bottom of the fence and did not take care of the other two issues. I called again and when the guys arrived I showed them the other two issues which they promptly took care of.

The whole process was very easy. I really appreciated the fact that they answered all of my questions, managed the approval process through my HOA and had a great crew for the installation.

Second time I have used this company for my fencing needs. The crew showed up on time and were prepared to get to work. The crew chief took the time to discussion the job with me to make sure we were on the same page. He also gave me a rough estimate of how long the job was going to take, and also assured me that the job would be done to my satisfaction, which it was. Outstanding!

Went smoothly. Old fencing was taken away and now it looks much better. Family Fencing was responsive to quote, responsive in communicating when they would be here and showed up as scheduled. I would use this company again.

In short horrible nightmare to an extent I am wounding if I am really dealing with same people. There were goof ups since the time appointment scheduling but I still gave them benefit of doubt. At the time quotation was given I was told they will do everything from HOA approval to fence I installation. Feeling happy I went ahead and paid 50% advance and that’s when my nightmare started. First since then no body contacted I had to follow up multiple times. Again that was enough, emails and documents I sent were lost or not found and were requested to send documents again and again. After all this guys missed submitting complete documents on time to HOA which means delay in installation by 2 months. So I have requested my advance back, but so far there is no response. Now I am just hoping folks will refund my money promptly so I can get out of this nightmare.

The workers did an outstanding job! They arrived on time and kept at the job, even working through their lunch hour. They removed the old fence, cleaned up after themselves, installed the new fence perfectly straight, and went above and beyond by removing some tree branches that were in the way. I would certainly recommend this company.

When I called about having it done whoever answered was short and to the point. We don’t do that once were done with the job. It is too costly to send a crew out just for that. I hadn’ t even discussed a price yet and it would have been a quick in and out job to hinge it to one post and install a latch on the building 48 inches away. I was amazed at the lack of willingness to come back and make my wife happy. I was actually told to call another company (Fence Depot) that they would probably do it.

Left a voicemail requesting to schedule an estimate for fence repair resulting from the hurricane. Five days later, someone returned my call and we scheduled an estimate for a week later. On the day of the appointment, nobody showed up. I called an hour an a half after the appointment time and had to leave another voicemail stating nobody had shown up and asked if anybody was going to showing up. Nobody called me that day or since. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!!
