We've wanted to fire them for a while, but we don't even own a lawn mower and they are our 3rd lawn service. I don't think I ask too much, I simply expect what was promised, nothing more. When I hired them I had to pay a $250 yard clean up fee, which we weren't happy about considering we'd had lawn service for the previous 18 months (hence why we were looking for new lawn service), but that was not their fault. So, we paid it. To date, they still have not completed our initial lawn clean up. I have an arbor in the back with a privacy fence that is about 8ft long. I asked them to make sure that they cleaned it up. They did exactly half of the fence and stopped. They told me they would do it next time they came. That was months ago. The bushes in the front of the house were supposed to be cut off of the walk way and away from the house. Nope. Still have to walk off of the front walkway to get into my house. There is a palm tree that was over grown right next to the house (a very little one about 3 ft), still over grown. My husband had to cut it last weekend. There was a shrub on the side of my house that was touching the awning of the house, I asked them 4 times to cut its down. We did that last week too.
They wouldn't edge on the outside of our property even though when we hired them they said they would. When my husband called to have them come back and do it, the manager gave him a hard time about it and my husband said come back and do it or don't come back at all. They came back. 
My flowering shrubs on the other side of my house are dying because they have not been pruned properly. I have asked and asked, still not done. These are all things I asked to be done as part of our monthly service, meaning include it in your price. We were told no problem. So when they told us $150/mo we said well, at least we don't have to do any yard work. 
Oh and did I mention that in the last couple of months, they've skipped a week each month. I'm paying $150/mo, my yard should not be the embarrassment on the block! 
I even made it clear that the reason that I need full service lawn maintenance is due to my inability to physically do it. I was told, "No problem." I even told them that we were having a hard time with lawn services keeping up with their initial quality, which is why we were looking for new service. " You wont have that problem with us." Yeah your right, I didn't have that problem, because you didn't even start with quality service. Out of the three that we've had you have been the worst. At least the other two started out strong. 
Again, all I ask for is what I was told I would be getting. I don't ask for extras for free.

I have been using them for three or four years. They're reasonably priced. They do a fairly good job. It takes them 10 minutes to do the lawn. They have one guy cutting, one guy trimming, one guy edging, one guy blowing and they're in and out very quickly.
