We went thru sever machinations... owner came out and worked with us to get plans for the yard, Very nice people. ended up with smaller job, but they are very nice, thoughtful, and thorough.

They designed and installed landscape to front of the house. They were able to incorporate plants I was already growing as well as plants that were on my wishlist. Very professional and did a better design and install than I had planned on. Made changes as requested during installation. Very pleased.

The customer service was great but their performance on the lawn was not what we were looking for. They were also a little expensive. We dropped them and moved on. Their customer service side was so strong. I used them for only one month. I wouldn't use them again because of the price.

Pink and green strives for consistent quality and they are very responsive. Owners are very active in the organization as well. Highly recommend them!

They are good, not as cheap as your small single vehicle guy, but worth the consistency and reliability. I will keep using them as long as the service remains good.

Requested quote for timing the trees and bushes around the house including hauling, and the price comes to $622, with $179 rate for labor and $75 for dump truck. Had to commend the scheduler for trying to accommodate my time. The crew of three was on time and worked for a total of 3 hours. The only thing that I felt a bit disappointed was that I had to explain to the crew multiple times that I wanted the trees trimmed so that they do not touch the house's roof or other critical structures, which I assume should be common sense for landscape maintenance. Price of $622 seemed a bit high but I figure it was OK.

Excellent work and went way beyond my expectations. They were professional and my new makeover looks FANTASTIC!!! And I would definitely use them again!!!!

They cut my grass one time and did a poor job, so I told them I don't need their services requesting a refund. They charged me in advance for two more cuts and I have not been able to get my refund. I have called them several times and emailed them being told I would get my refund within seven days. It has been two weeks and I have not gotten a response or refund. After posting the review I did receive a call from the owner, and she expressed changes she had made in her business so this would not happen again. I did receive my money back a couple of days after, so I changed my review.

Communication was with Jennifer for the work to begin the first week of February. The work began per our discussed time frame and Jennifer was very attentive to all my needs and kept me apprised during the entire job. The foreman, Chuck, was absolutely terrific to work with and addressed all the landscaping questions. Everything came out beautifully.

Pink and Green takes care of my lawn and ornamentals. The lawn is mowed on a monthly basis (2 or 3 times per month depending on the season), and ornamentals are trimmed when needed. The service is excellent. The workers are very accommodating, and they follow thru on my requests. One thing that I like very much is the fact that I can contact the company, and the same representative always answers my calls. Brittany is extremely efficient, and again, accommodates my requests. In the instance when I am not home to talk to the workers, Brittany passes the message to them. The first time my lawn was mowed, Brittany came in person to see how the job had been performed. Needless to say, I was extremely impressed.

Pink & green started as a new small lawn care company and about a year ago after many years with lawn companies that I had to keep track of their bookkeeping because they could not even try to Bill me I read reviews about them and decided to give them a try. Charging me the same I paid before they were personable and business oriented. They have grown tremendously because they listen to customers concerns and actually set up automatic payments so I don't have to worry about being billed and sending a check. Everything is done electronically and that works for me. Give them a try and deal with the customer care contact named Brittany she is a problem solver and really knows her business. She is an asset to this growing company.

The customer service was excellent. The initial meeting with the designer was set up very promptly and he arrived as scheduled. The landscaping crew also arrived timely and completed the project ahead of schedule. I had a question after receiving photos of the work (as I was at my office when the project was completed) and the crew was sent back to my home the same evening to answer my question. They were very pleasant to work with and helped me with my questions immediately. The project was resolved that same day. The crew was professional and they left the work area very clean. The coordinator for the project was also very pleasant to work with.

after the design work , they Quoted 2400.00 to Do all the work (new Plants , Sod, and a tree trimming). I agreed to it and they had a opening the next day and they did the whole redo in 1 day . They even check out my sprinkler system (it had not been used for 10 years) and gave me a quote for repairing that as well. Over all I an extremely happy with the outcome.

I had a very tight timeline to improve the look of my landscaping. Scott, the designer worked quickly to propose a suitable, practical refresh which was attractive and met my needs. As requested, the work was performed immediately (entire process took a week). All aspects of the service were handled very professionally and timely.

Got several quotes and pink and green was one of the best on price and availability. one big plus is they were able to do everything without subcontracting. they were on time, estimates were accurate, cleaned up afterwards. Overall a very good experience.

Overall I am very pleased with the service. They have done an excellent job on the lawn. They provide the dates that they anticipate that they will be at the property on the first of the month. They have been very punctual. They do an efficient job and clean up after well. They clear our pool of any debris. I did have some issues setting up the automatic payment to credit card. However, the customer service representative has always been very helpful in trying to resolve any issues. Communication has been excellent, prompt, and courteous. That is all that I can ask for, and the problem was ultimately resolved. We are pleased with the service and plan on continuing with the monthly program.

This was a debacle from the beginning. We found Pink and Green from a Big Deal on Angie's List. The deal was $1300 for new plants and installation. We had just bought our home, and the yard was a complete mess. The gentleman who came out to look at our property assured us he did things like this all the time, and it would be an easy afternoon. However, he told us that the deal we bought, really wouldn't be enough for us, and we would need to spend more to fill up the yard like he envisioned ($3000 more). We also wanted to get new sod put in, and to have the weeds that were currently filling it eradicated. They said no problem, we've got this. The came back a week or so later, and did the installation. Now, we research quite a bit online, and in our searching found that if you do not kill the weeds before you lay down sod, the weeds will come right back and take over, killing the sod. I brought up my concerns to the crew while they were here, and they told us the technique they used of "burning the yard" (chopping it up with a weed wacker) took care of it. I took them for their word, and let them continue. (Mistake number 1) They laid down the new sod on top of the chopped up weeds, and called it a day. The plants they put in, while what we agreed upon, we not installed in the way we had discussed, and at the end, it all looked really plain and boring, not at all what was described. They also had sold us on a "weed paper" installation as well, but they had not done it at the end. When I asked them about it, they said "Oh, we save that for last". And then commenced to scrape handfuls of mulch out of the way in between plants, to put in strips of plastic. At this I told them to stop, that's not how it's supposed to work (that's not how any of this works!) and to take that off the bill, which they did. We were left with a lumpy, uneven, terrible looking sod installation, and boring landscaping that we felt we overpaid for. We then complained to the company, and were told they guy who worked with us was "new and inexperienced", and should not have done what he did. So they sent out another guy, Scott, who did know much more than the first. He told us that he wanted to pull out all the old plantings, and redo everything, on them, to fix the bad job of the first guy. But to really do it right, we would need to spend an additional $3000. We were not pressured into doing this, and felt that since they were fixing the first guy's mess-up for free, we could trust them. He came back a couple of days later, and redid all the plantings, which when they were done, really was great. It looked like we had envisioned, and suddenly we had a nice yard. HOWEVER - with the sod, we had by this time started to see all the weeds coming back up through the sod. The yard remained lumpy and uneven, to the point of almost twisting an ankle if you walked across the yard. We complained to the company about this as well, and when the guy was out redoing the planting, he promised to take care of it. They went through and pulled the visible weeds, and said that they would do a fertilizer / weed killer treatment, and that in two months everything would be great. For the uneven thing, he said it will relax over the next few days, and if not, they would put sand down to fix it. They also said they adjusted / moved sprinkler heads to cover the new plantings. So they ran their fertilizer around the yard, and left. The next day, we had brown runway strips in the yard, from where they had pushed their machine, killing the grass. They apparently over-fertilized, and killed the lawn. I called the company, and they said that happens a lot, and just hose it down, and it will be fine. The sprinklers, which we had hired another company to fix the system after Pink and Green dropped the ball on, we now not covering the yard anymore, nor the plants, even after they adjusted everything. So I had to call out the sprinkler company again to fix the issues. Over the next few weeks, the runway strips stayed dead, but the other grass was coming in to fill in the burnt part. And so were the weeds. In the front and back, the weeds are coming back with a vengeance. We never did hear anything again from them about the yard, and we finally gave up on them, having reached the point of being fed up. Their commitment to "give us two months, and we'll fix everything", never came to be. To sum up, to anyone that plans on using them, I would say in no uncertain terms, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR LAYING SOD! In particular, do not have them lay sod over a weed filled yard. If you have brand new dirt, maybe. But for us, it is not a constant and continuous couple of hours a week pulling weeds trying to keep them from taking over, and I'm still losing the battle. I'm now searching for a company to do treatments (like Scott's Tru-Green, etc) to try and get ahead of this a little. The company did return emails when we sent them, and they were never rude. Scott (the second guy who actually knew what he was doing) definitely knows plants, and did a great job designing something that looks very nice. But the sod/weed issue just kills the whole thing for us, and the A of the landscaping (and of Scott on his own) gets offset by the F for the sod. #########################UPDATE BELOW############################# The company responded to be directly, basically saying the same as below. First, let me say that I now do have one of the best looking lawns on the block. And I heartily want to thank the makers of Scott brand Fertilizer and Weed Killer for this. Pink and Green had said they would come out and take care of the weed problem, and they would be "on top of it". They never showed up again. We were told, give us 60 days, and we will take care of everything. They never returned. And rather than chase them down, I took care of it myself. I dug up and re-leveled areas that needed it, replaced sections of sod where places had died, and hired a sprinkler company to fix the sprinklers AFTER Pink and Green had said they fixed it all as well. They paid me half of that bill because they knew they had dropped the ball, and they got busted. Before they had responded to my review, and ultimately sent out a guy to look at the yard, I laid down the third in a series of weed killer / fertilizer since they had been there last. And now, I have a beautiful, weed free lawn. And, I've hired a company to come out to maintain the lawn as well, as I won't have the time to do it myself. I've been contacted a couple of times by Pink and Green, asking me to change this review. In the last email, I was asked if I would be gracious enough to increase their grade, since there is no longer an issue. Then I got a phone call asking the same thing. I told them that I would update the review as is appropriate. And here I have. So, in summary, Pink and Green gave us some lovely plants, with some nice landscaping, but it took a great deal of doing to get us to that point, let alone all the money we spent. They were never rude, and the office lady Jennifer always did respond to emails when we sent them. The same can't be said for the original guy we were dealing with, who often would say he would come at a certain time and then never show. Sometimes people drop the ball, I think this is one of those times. I don't think it was malicious, I think it was just a new guy who didn't know what he was doing, and made a big mess of things. They tried and succeeded in fixing the landscaping. The sod, however, I am taking the credit for salvaging the poor job that was done with that. There they had a swing and a miss. And yes, if you want to see some photos, I'll happily share! It looks pretty darn good, if I do say so myself. =)
