I had exceptional service. They remedy with the situation that was installed by another company. The staff was courteous, on time, perform excellent work and marvelous job.

Very good, they are professional everything was clean now. They know their job, the price is the best, it was a great company. They are very respectful, they came on time. I hired Florida Solar & Air back in October 2017 with the promise that by Thanksgiving 2017 the windows and doors would be installed. Today is August 27 and the project has not been finalized. The only thing that went smoothly in this process was the signing of the contract. Since then, the company has not only shown a level of unprofessionalism that I can only label as criminal, but also has completely neglected and abandoned me. Put some popcorn on your microwave because this has been a complete telenovela. Let's just start with the fun fact that It took them 4 months to get the permits approved by the Biscayne Park Village City Council. First they simply did not show up and then they did not present the appropriate paperwork. They were clearly unprepared and are not capable of executing the most normalized part of the process. I received excuses in line of "person x went into labor just before attending the City meeting", "person y had a panic attack" or "person z is no longer working in the company". My project manager in the company is practically a ghost. I've seen and heard from the Phantom of the Opera more than from a representative of the Florida Solar & Air. I've been handed over like a hot potato between what seems to be a revolving door of personnel. Don't even think that you will receive estimated dates/times. When the first stage of the process was finalized, the master window was cracked and the frame had a very clear dent. We practically had to perform a modern version of a via crucis to get the window changed and the door reframed. The working crew acted like a stampede. Have you seen the scene of the Lion King where Mufasa is killed? This crew acted with the same level of violence. The impact door was misplaced and had to be redone, along with the master window. Oh! I almost forgot to mention the fun fact that they insisted on opening the backyard's fence door in the wrong direction and completely broke it! Of course, this added 3 months to the project. Let's not mention the amount of dust and mess that the working crew left around. You will hear from the sales person the systems that they have to isolate the working area. Well, bring your gas masks and get ready for a Burning Man kind of sand storm to avoid dying in the process. For the second phase of the project the paper work took an extra 2 months. Once they came home to install the windows they DID NOT MATCH the previously installed ones. Of course, they blamed it on the client. If you do sign a contract with them please expect to have a license for window and door installation as they will expect you to decipher all of the technical terminology (basically hieroglyphs) in the contract. Unfortunately I ended up with mismatching windows and they have trying to correct it for the past 2 months. Just to add an unexpected twist to the plot, I recently had to reallocate due to my work and I now can not sell the house because the permit is still open. Of course, I have now have legal representation as they are not only affecting my family's economy but have deteriorated my mental and emotional health. The worst part of it is that THEY NEVER PROACTIVELY REACH OUT FOR UPDATES. I've had to chase them down like the FBI Most Wanted to get a simply update. It took them on average 3 weeks to come back with an answer. Of course, don't brace yourself for a victory dance. You ALWAYS end up crying after talking with Florida Solar & Air. I am thinking of training messenger doves or send them smoke signs to see if that works. More than happy to share my grief if this will avoid a decent and hard working family like ourselves the pain that we are going through. My email is lninokehoe@gmail.com. I really wish I had read these yelp reviews before we chose this company to do our windows and doors. After the hurricane last year we decided that we wanted to install hurricane windows and doors in our home. We got 3 quotes and Solar Florida & Air were the highest by almost $15,000. My husband liked that they carried high liability insurance and that is the reason why we chose them. Alvaro was our sales rep and he promised to be with us every step of the way. After we gave him the deposit we never heard from him again. We ordered the windows the same day he came to give us the quote and the following day we ordered the door. I can't complain about the installation and quality of the windows. That was actually done in a timely manner including the inspections. The problem was with the door. We ordered everything at the end of September 2017. The windows were installed in December. The problems started when the door was not ordered at all and they had to put a "rush" on the door. Then a woman named Terri emailed me to ask what kind of door handles I wanted for the door. She then sent me a photo of some examples for the handles and it wasn't even the door I had ordered in the photo. So they came to install the door and panels were all wrong. We wanted frosted panels and half of the panels were frosted and half were clear. After a lot of back and forth they tried to remove the clear panels and replace them with frosted panels. When that didn't work then they said they would reorder the door. This door nightmare began in December and they finally fixed it at the end of July. So we had to live with paper over our door so people couldn't look in our home for close to 10 months. When I tried to negotiate a lower price for the door for our troubles they flat out LIED and said we were quoted the wrong price for the door initially and that the price was higher. I know this is a lie because I was quoted by another company the same exact price for the door. They threatened to put a lien on our house if we didn't pay. If you are looking for windows do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.

They began on May 1st and just finished August 20th. Lack of communications within that company is what causes all the dysfunction. I can only praise Jay who sold the project and was very professional. Jasmine that tried to organize the workers to the house. Jonathan that did the last repairs and had pride in his work. Also I never complained or hassled them with phone calls and as soon as the job was done the finance dept. started harassing me with calls to sign documents and making statements of leans against my home. Wasn't even a 3 days and these comments were in every call, text and email. Not a company I would refer.

I contracted and gave a deposit for three (3) storm windows on ar about August 2017. As of this date, this company has not delivered and installed my windows. When I call them, all I get is a runaround. About 6 months ago, they told me the windows were ready to be installed. The morning of the installation, then called and said that the windows were the wrong color and would have to be remanufactured. Since then I get nothing but the runaround.

Very happy with Fl Solar and Air! Tom, the salesman, was very thorough in explaining the different options and the process. The Installers I had were great. Billy Dimas was extremely thorough, clean, punctual, helpful, and professional. They covered everything and cleaned up right after each window was complete and put everything back where it was. Billy is a very hard worker with a great work ethic. I highly recommend this company and Billy!

Great! Fast and totally efficient. Project Mgr Brian was swell, installers Carlos Herrera and Alejandro were polite and fast, worked thru lunch. Very please with overall experience, staff at the office were as well informed and helpful... See you next year for patio!!

The purchase and installation of impact windows is a major investment--an investment I fully entrusted the folks at Florida Solar and Air with. In the end, I chose this company over a couple of very highly rated and reputable window companies for a few reasons: 1. The knowledge of the salesman Jay was evident in his presentation. Jay was able to provide us with a thorough presentation on impact windows that allowed us to make an educated decision relating to our window purchase. He did not try to oversell us to make a quick buck. He sold us windows that would best meet our needs. 2. With a newborn baby at home, we wanted to select a company that we felt comfortable would leave our home tidy and relatively dust free. The workers took every precaution to minimize dust debris and made sure to clean up after their mess on a daily basis. 3. The quality of their CGI windows were superior the other companies we viewed. 4. Florida Solar and Air does not use any subcontractors. Not only did they install our windows and doors in an expeditious and orderly fashion, but they did so at a high quality. The excellent craftsmanship of David, Yoell, Edwin, Enmanul, Lewis, Joacius, and Wilner was evident in their work. Our project manager Brian was also pleasant to deal with. He oversaw all work and saw to it personally that the finished product was done at a high quality. In the end, Florida Solar and Air was not the cheapest, but their prices were competitive. The old adage you get what you pay for is very true and in the end, FSA provided us with the piece of mind that this major investment was going to be completed correctly.

He was high on the price. He was OK with responsiveness, But I called them and said for someone to come check the braker, and I had to tell him to go check my air conditioner so he went to check my air conditioner, But I had to tell him what to do. I would no use again because of the higher price. He was very professional. I would not use again because he would not give me the 10% discount on Angie's List and I told him I was on the list.

My overall experience with this company was very satisfying. Alvaro and the office personnel kept me informed on the processes with my HOA approval, city permits processes & the installation schedule. My installers David & Joe'l They did a great job installing 1 sliding glass door and 5 windows. The entire job took only 2 days. I am very pleased that I selected this company to install my hurricane impact CGI with Low -E tint windows & sliding glass door.

I already signed a contract with them and put down a deposit.They put the time into educating me about the product I was buying. A lot of the other vendors who came in, they just kind of took measurements and said," OK. I'll send you an email tonight." and they didn't say anything to me about what the options were or what considerations needed to factor in to it.

I just had my storm windows installed. One of the best experiences, from the sales process, all the way up to the installation, follow up, job coordination. The crew kept me in the loop and up to speed every step of the way. The Sales Rep not only did a great presentation.. I actually learned a lot of the technology behind this. And the installers, David Otano and Tomas, were amazing. They were fast, clean, precise... and very commited: it was a very rainy week, and still they commited to finish the job on time and with perfect result. 150% recommended. - Thank you!

Despite of the large work to be done and the surprises found behind our walls, these guys put up to the job and did an outstanding work. Worked diligently on the details and accomplished what was promised.

i was totally amaze by the professionalism of the sales person(JAY CRUZ) who did a good job in his explanation of the advantages of the windows to choose.then the installation by (JOEL &DAVID) was so professional i could not ask for anything better i will surely recommend them.

The work is still in progress. Unfortunately, two of the windows were manufactured with the wrong measure/design, so we have to wait for them to be redone and the job completed. They also need to come back to finish compound work around the windows and cleaning up. The price is very high but at least they do the cement and compound around the window, which many other companies don't do. Also, the supervisor checks to make sure every window is installed and finished correctly. In my house, they need to go back over about half of them for the finish and detailing work.

Immediately I didn't think much of it, just another salesman. My mind was on another company but I had made the appt and I believe in keeping my word. He gave a time and he was on time, I don't come across that too much. That always get points with me (ex-military -Army). The salesperson Ian McGinley was very impressive, knowledgeable, polite, and the cost was average but about $700 or $800 less than everybody. I asked about the A/C, and he explained but with that I give him a B+ but very well versed. He was able to come within $500 of another quote but able to give a bigger discount on the windows...Excellent! Due to holiday it took a while to get the crew out but the time frame was going to take 4-5days, the office persons said Monday but the crew had a free day and was able to start Saturday with a 9-11am window, crew arrived 8:52am because they had to load the truck that's late for them. I was told 2 guys would come and they were very polite and all about getting the job done. Very professional. 4 more showed so they can complete the job quickly...they blew through the work and completed in 2 days the longest part was waiting for the inspector...I absolutely recommend this company, David and Yoel - EXCELLENT TECHS, polite, courteous, professional,

The sales man wasn't up front and didn't reveal all the particulars of the sale. In retrospect, I think this company is a bit pricey. He sold me doors guaranteeing that screens came with them when the doors had no matching screens and they had to find screens that fit to install. When the doors were installed they came without the screens and the screen installation was initially poor and took close to a month to properly install. The company failed to schedule interim inspections. The initial inspection was failed for this reason however, changed to "an in-progress" after being contacted by FSA project manager. I do describe the office as responsive but several return visits occurred due to poor service delivery (screen installation). the best way to describe my FSA experience overall is "frustrating".

They changed 4 windows which the end finish looked great.

They are not cheap, but were professional during the meet. The one thing that impressed us during the meet was their explanation of their streamlined process and ability to get permits and work done efficiently. That is not what occurred. First, they took forever. Richard, their installer, is the nicest man and very hard working. However, the company did not give a good estimate as to when the product would actually be available and installed. Second, they did not go through the permit process correctly, which created a DISASTER. Miami Beach requires inspection during the project, not at completion. They called the inspectors AFTER everything was put in, and the inspector would not sign off on the project. The inspector explained to me that this company does this every time. It was a royal pain, as they had to come back to our house, take out the doors/windows (mind you, this is during June - when mosquitos swarm your home when doors are off) and I was 7 months pregnant. Third, they did not offer any discount for this huge inconvenience. Given that they are so expensive, they could have at least offered a % discount. I was so annoyed at the end, and wanted them out of my house, that I just paid the bill and told them to go their merry way. It was $10K in the end.

I cannot say enough good things about Richard, the installer that did the work on my lanai. He was professional, patience and kind. He didn't complain and believe me, it was hot. More importantly, his wok ethic was impeccable. He did a wonderful job on the installation and the cleanup. When he left each day, you would never know he was there!!! I LOVE MY WINDOWS and HIGHLY recommend Richard.

they broke my windows all the windows were not measure properly and when they arrived they were not the same size as my older windows they are not profesionals at all if you want to not have a really big headache save yourself the time and look for another company that would do the right job this people should not even be in bussiness terrible terrible starting with the costumer service the installers the manager everybody they send you a nice salesperson to trick you and then comes all the lies the first thing they lie about is that they dont say how long it takes for the windows to arrive they take like 1 and a half month concluding know you are warned about this s***** company DO NOT DO BUSSINESS WITH THIS LIARS save yourself from getting ripped off.
