Description of Work: Waited for first appointment of the day, because we all work outside the home. First appointment arrived at 7:15 and work was complete by 8am

Description of Work: Polite, punctual and affable. Though if I recall correctly I found out the $35 was for an inspection only. I have eight zones and about 65 sprinkler heads which I check myself regularly, but they did that and also helped me locate a bothersome leak. They suggested some corrections (using some flex-tubing that I couldn't find) and I was very pleased with the diagnosis and repair. It's been awhile but I remember a guy need Victor and a tech named Rick both of whom did good work. Fixing sprinkler heads isn't too hard, but having a Pro detecting leaks and improving distribution is always good. Almost 2 years later, and their repair is still intact.

They came out, worked about an hour, trouble shooted some things, and explained of any additional repairs that may be needed. I was pretty happy with their service.

Description of Work: Justin came out and did a thorough systems check. He also adjusted and/or replaced sprinkler heads and repositioned those that were hitting the house. He was also very helpful in making suggestions for better maintenance/monitoring our sustem. The price was reasonable based on all the work he did. We would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone. They did a great job and we are pleased with the results.

Description of Work: Active did what they were hired to do; and that was to check the whole system; from start to finish. They also reset for the season. Two sprinkler heads had to be changed, due to damage done by lawn guy who cuts my grass; which is understandable. and unavoidable at times. Active's people are very polite, knowledgeable and affordable. I would never hesitate in hiring them for the job I hired them for. I never had a problem with the many service people I hire through Angie's list in several years. Yet still checking them out, whoever you hire, is pinnacle.

Description of Work: I needed an irrigation tune up because I found out I had more property on the side of my house and would need to water more area. I had used Active last May and even though there had been a few issues, they took care of them quickly. This time I discovered that the way they did the tune up left areas either flooded or not watering properly. I called and the owner Victor accused me of having them out 7 times before and went on a tirade. After many minutes of this argument he discovers they made an error and my phone number was put on another persons acct. I barely received an apology for this. He then sent someone out to do a full inspection again. When Justin came I explained, as I had to Dan the first time, that we keep the Rainbird box locked and all stations OFF. I also noted that Dan had left zone 2 for 20 minutes and it should have been zone 5 as we had always had it. He proceeded to correct the areas including finding a broken head. We had not been in the yard since they were out there last. I replaced 2 heads paid him and I thought everything was set OK. On Sunday I heard the system turn on. Thought it was my neighbor and didn't notice it was us until it had almost finished with zone 2. It was dark and my daughter ran out with the key only to find out the door wasn't locked, the brain section when she touched it fell in her hand and she had to re connect it. She then tried to lock the unit and she was unable to lock it. The system was left on and zone 2 was still left at 20 min. After leaving a detailed message Dan called and came. out. Without touching the box he stated the lock was damaged by a screw driver and they had keys and could not have done this. We had not touched the unit! That Justin just forgot to set the timer. After he left I got my key and the lock mechanism worked like butter. There was a plastic side piece that was broken. I could not seem to lock the unit. I left a very angry message. I went out again and finally after carefully placing the door on the box, was able to lock the box. I called back and left a message. What incompetence! Always blame the customer. Never contacted me again. There still the issue of the broken piece and whether this unit will lock again after we open it. Our Rainbird is only 1 year old.
