They were fine. They were good. They showed up when they said they would. They were on time. They did the job. They didn't try to upsell anything. They solved it if there was any problem. It was all good.

The tech was able to fix some of the sprinklers and teach me how to adjust them in the future. Looking forward to quote on a timer system.

All work was completed but it was a bit of a struggle as salesperson bit off a bigger project than the installers could easily provide. The slope of the area caused the installers quite a challenge and delayed the installation until a smaller main tree could be found and equipment rented to assist in placing the tree. Credit is given to company though in that they were fair about the underestimated costs which they mostly absorbed.

Didn't do any tune up. Just replaced to heads.

This was a $50 big deal purchase. He did look at my sprinkler system but I did not get what I really wanted. I wanted somebody to come out and give me a tune up. He just told me which sprinklers were bad. I thought the tune up would include setting the timer and all that kind of stuff. If I remember correctly I pretty much had everything the same way as it was when he got here. In my book the $50 that way, I was not happy with the deal. They came on time, he was here, but he did not do anything. He said if I wanted him to come out and put new sprinklers in he was going to charge me $150 an hour. I was like, forget that sh*t. I'll dig it up and do it myself. I did not get what I thought I was paying for. They should have been honest about what they were doing and given me an estimate about what it would cost to do my sprinkler system. Basically I paid $50 for somebody to come out and tell me I needed sprinkler work done. I did not need that, I needed somebody to do it. I guess you could say he was on time.

I’m very happy with them. They were very personable. They left the area very clean. I would say it’s worthwhile to use them. They are coming back to change out the control unit.

This is the second time I have used Active, and have been completely impressed both times now! They are VERY thorough and professional in their approach to the work, and also take the time to give the homeowner a good understandable explanation of what all they've done and how much any recommended improvements would cost. I have used probably five or six different irrigation companies over the last ten years, but will not waste my time with any of the others anymore. If you have sprinkler system issues, would strongly recommend giving this company a call!

Very happy with outcome. Technician called ahead of his arrival, proceeded to evaluate my system and performed minor alterations (realigning of irrigation heads, reprogram of control box, etc.). Technician also replaced to irrigation heads that were the wrong type for their location and spray patterns.

Excellent. Gentleman reset some heads and replaced two sprinkler heads. He was very knowledgeable about lawn types, how much water needed during the extreme heat, and other relevant information about my grass. Would use them again without question!

Went well. The service person Robert Coleman was very professional, showed up on time and did a good job. His price was reasonable. He did the job correctly the first time. Yes, I will recommend Richard to my friends and family.

This was a big deal purchase. To tell you the truth this was a little bit disappointing. The gentleman came and he was very nice. He talked to me for a long time about this and that. But I felt like the only thing he did was look around my property, tell me that they could come in and do some adjustments and it was $75 an hour so I wondered what I paid $50 for. I probably could have called around and found out that they are $50 an hour to tweak a system. He did not do anything and just give me their hourly rate. He did email me later saying some of my sprinkler heads could be lifted up and all kinds of adjustments could be made. The professionalism and punctuality was all good. He was on time and came when he said he would. He looked nice and smelled good. I mean, he was a sales guy. He did slip through the zone but he did not do anything. He looked and said some of the heads could be turned and some of the heads could be lifted out of the ground so we paid $50 for an estimate.

They're pretty decent. They were really good. The only problem I had with them was that I made the appointment for one day, they didn't write it down and they didn't record that it should be that day. I had to call them back the following day. They did correct the problem. They made sure to come out the following day very early. They were very punctual.

GREAT!!!! On the day Richard was to arrive, he called us about 40 minutes (7:20 AM) before he was scheduled to arrive. Because of the heat wave we were having, Richard asked if it was OK if he could arrive early at our home to start the work. We said it was fine for him to arrive early and in 15-20 minutes Richard arrive to begin the work. Now that's service!!! With the latest heatwave, we were happy that he came early. Richard reviewed and tested our entire Sprinkler System and went over our Sprinkler System Controller with us. Also, he showed us things that we didn't know about the Controller and made some suggestions. Richard was very thorough, professional, and easy to talk with. After his review, he told us what needed to be done and then he told us exactly how much it would cost. Because the work required extra time to complete, we scheduled another day for the completion of the work. Again, on the scheduled date for the work to be completed, about 30 minutes before he was scheduled to start the work and 20 minutes later Richard arrived at our home to complete the work. Again, that's EXCELLENT service!!! Richard completed everything. When Richard was done, he went over everything with my wife and she was pleased with the work. Richard was GREAT!!! We are very happy with the work that was completed and with the professionalism that Richard displayed throughout the entire process. When we first called Active Lawn Care & Landscaping, Inc. we spoke with Shari who scheduled the first visit. During our conversation she explained some of the things the tech would check. Shari was GREAT!!! In addition, Shari was SUPER when she explained the details about our bill. Shari was easy to talk with and she was very courteous. Richard and Shari were very professional and knowledgeable. Because of the GREAT service and PROFESSIONALISM we received, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Active Lawn Care & Landscaping, Inc. They were EXCELLENT!!!

This was a big deal purchase. Initially I was satisfied and the person was very nice. After a week went by I noticed that my irrigation doesn't cover everything but that is what I asked him to come out for. It was not satisfactory. The sprinkler head he replaced was fine but now another one is not working. I think at the time it did work, I don't really know. He did check the area but he did not tell me I had two problems. The job did not get done. I did not call them back. I doubt that I will call them back. The special price was great. The next time I would call them back they would probably charge double. The price of the deal was fair. I guess their punctuality was okay. Their professionalism was fine.

I think they have several offices. They come out weekly. I am not sure if I will use them again. I just feel like I have to be watching and asking them to do things, which I don't feel like I have to do. I have to go back sometimes and weed some things because they did not do it enough. I actually don't know if I am going to use them after my contract is up. They do a decent job when they do the work. I wanted to go with a company that I thought knew something and wasn't just a guy with a lawn mower. I think they are more knowledgeable than if I just got anybody. The job they are doing is decent, it is just that I wish I did not have to ask them to do some things, that's all. It is $99 a month for lawn care. I know I could get it done cheaper. They just come out when they are supposed to and I never know when they are coming. They usually come the same day and I know they are coming every week. I am using them because I am under a contract with them. I can stop the contract, but I have to send certified letter. It is not just a phone call, they are making it hard. That is another thing I don't like about them because this whole cancelation thing has to be by certified mail.

The owner came out as scheduled and did a "Full Sprinkler Tune-Up" per the promo. My husband was impressed with his skill and said he knows what he's doing.

I contacted Active due to the high ratings they had received on Angie's list. The entire process was very professional starting with my initial contact with Active to arrange an appointment. The technician (Richard) arrived on time, quickly ascertained the problem and explained what he was going to do to fix the system. All work was completed in less than an hour and I was charged the price of a tune-up plus the cost of a sprinkler head that was replaced. Was very pleased with the service provided by Active and would highly recommend them.

They were on-time, very professional and friendly. I would definitely recommend them to other people and, actually, already have. Great work!

This was our second time working with them, The first job was 2/16/16 $1157.50 and included the install of three fence panels (all materials provided by owner) and the removal of many large shrubs - I recommended them to others - was very impressed. Our second interaction was not as smooth, perhaps because it was in April and the season is very busy in Florida. I would not work with them again. The original request in writing by e-mail and in a sketch of the yard requested "tipping" of the trees (trimming of the smaller branches) before they leafed out. When the price quote was delayed and the work date was rescheduled by the company, a further delay, I should have cancelled. Lesson learned. The result was a misunderstanding between us both that was uncomfortable for us both. By the time the crew of two men arrived the trees had leafed out. When the crew showed up they did not have a ladder (and used mine, not a problem). The crew was super professional and experienced when we talked about plants. They suggested that the trees not be "tipped" because the trees had leafed out (sensible) and that is where my experience took a right turn; they did shape the trees using a trimmer on an extension pole. I called the owner as this change was being made - to let him know (from my perspective the scope of work was reduced and the bid would be adjusted). The owner sounded annoyed and finally said if the crew left early we could talk again. The crew left without saying good bye (I was home) and I did not get to tip them. We did talk again and I asked about the invoice in an e-mail and then talked again with the owner. I did not understand why the invoice remained the same, given the change in the scope of work. I also did not know why the charge was $50 per 19 hours for a day's work. Then the owner let me know that the hours were "man hours not crew hours." This was not in the quote and I did not know to ask in advance; the owner let me know - very kindly - that he would specify in the future So the dissatisfaction came from the interactions and the lack of explanation when the work changed. Who shows up to a trees tipping or even trimming - job without a ladder? Then the tipping was not done given that the trees had leafed out. I would chalk this up to misunderstandings - I do believe the rest of the job was well-done. Both of us, I believe, had uncomfortable interactions.

Purchased Irrigation tune up through Angie's List. Technician came and spent 10 minutes in yard. Came back and told me what I had told him when he arrived. Stated would email estimate. Never received estimate. The ad states $50 for an irrigation tune up, not $50 for an estimate. Their website states free estimates. So what was my $50 for?? Received nothing for My $50. Not a tune up or estimate.

The technician went over the entire system, adjusted, replaced and repaired. I felt it was a fair price for the expertise alone, then add to that all that had to be done and the fact that we don't have to struggle with it ourselves. Love it.

Missed broken sprinkler heads. Kept configuring the automatic timer to the wrong day of the week. They came out several times after I noticed the sprinkler started on the wrong day. I fixed it myself.
