Great experience with Water Works. Their price was lower than the competition, so I was afraid I might not get top quality, but that wasn't the case at all. From the design to the installation, the team was professional and top notch. I've been very pleased with the system and it was money well spent. I'd highly recommend Water Works.

I called and they came out promptly and gave me an estimate. They were very professional and nice. We made arrangement for them to come out and they arrived on the date and time agreed on. They installed the sprinkler system we had discussed and I liked what they did so the job was expanded to included additional parts of the yard. After the yard was graded and sodded I call them and they came back out and readjusted the sprinkler heads to match the changes in the grading.

I had to reschedule my first appointment with Water Works due to a scheduling conflict and they were very flexible. They called before coming out and they were on time. They knew right away what was wrong with my sprinkler system and repaired the solenoid valve. They charge by the hour so instead of leaving early they stayed and cleaned/replaced the sprinkler heads. They could of left after the job was done but didn't. The price was reasonable and service excellent! This is the first time I have used a contractor from Angie's List and so glad I joined and found Water Works!

They were very prompt and courteous. They said they would be here by 7:00 am and were here at 6:45 and worked all day until 5:00 when it started getting dark. They said they would be back the next morning to finish. They were here next day and finished up in about an hour. They cleaned up the yard and returned later to bring an insulated bag to protect from freezing. The county just came and inspected the system this past week. By the way it was 25 degrees when they started work the first day but worked without complaint. The man gave us a thorough explanation of how to operate the system and how to change times of operation. It was more expensive than I had expected but saw that the amount of work and how many workers it took to do the job that it was probably a fair price for services. We were pleased with this company.

Very professional. He fixed the faucets right away and contacted me via phone to let me know the exact repair details and the cost. He was very professional and honest- I certainly appreciate the prompt response and honest details since I am not in the profession. Will recommend to anyone. I initially asked another company nearby my house and without looking into the well, the individual told me it would cost me $800-$1,000 to replace the well. I needed a second opinion before deciding of spending that much money.. I am glad I did call for a second opinion after looking into Angie's listing..

From the beginning Water Works was very fast to give a fast and fairly priced quote. The installation crew arrived on time and were very professional. The crew was very thorough and made sure my installation needs were met. At completion of the job, the crew fully cleaned up any dirt and debris that was left over from the install. Before they left, I was given a full tutorial on how to run my new sprinkler system. I will definitely be using them to finish my landscaping project in my back yard.

My lawn sprinkler system was not managing the zones correctly and the pressure coming out the sprinklers was very low. At first I thought it was the pump so I had them replace it - pretty expensive pump - and the system still had the same problem. I wanted this done no matter what so no foul on their part for this. After that, the two workers spent over an hour using the sprinkler controller to change the zones and watch the water trickle out of each one while one zone stayed on all the time. I figured it out in 10 minutes and yet it took them over an hour before they started digging up the dirt around the valves for each zone and replacing them. I had to show them where the valves were even though there is a big green rectangular cover within two feet of the pump. This should have been my cue to stop them there and do this myself. I let them proceed and several hundred dollars later, more than the pump replacement, and three valves replaced through trial and error, the system was working. This lasted about a week. Now I am trying to get them to come back as the system is having the exact same problem and it will be almost a week before they can respond. I caution anyone thinking about getting work done by this company to compare others first and get a written estimate of all work up front. If you do hire them and you get this sinking feeling inside that the workers do not know what they are doing, I recommend you follow that instinct and dismiss them immediately. I did not follow my instincts and it cost me time, money and frustration.
Description of Work: Replace the lawn sprinkler pump, diagnose and repair the problem with water flow and zone control, replace stuck valve(s), adjust sprinkler heads for proper flow and direction.

I spoke to one of their personnel, Mr. Eric Diamond. He told me and gave me a card saying that he was the owner, but actually he was not. He came over the next day, and I told him that I was going away for ten days to go to a hospital in Ohio. When I had talked to him on the phone initially, I had asked him if he used Rain Bird products because that's what I wanted, and he told he did and said as a matter of fact, he was the Rain Bird select contractor, and that was one of the proposal/contract thing that I signed with him that he is a select Rain Bird contractor, but he was not which I found out later. When he came over, he looked around the yard and so forth. I already knew about irrigation system and what it requires as far as the coverage. We walked around my yard, I showed him the yard and told him I needed coverage because I had nobody to water as my sister was dying and her daughter would come and do it before that. He left me a Rain Bird select contractor pamphlet showing the products and giving their code of honor and code of ethics and all that stuff and because, he was a select contractor what were the things he would do. I asked him if he could get it done within three weeks, and he said he had a crew of twelve and they would come here and get it done in one day. I said I wanted to have a schematic plan to know where the pipes are because I have an island in the front which has big palm trees and then the back I have a large rose garden which requires special irrigation because I can't sprinkle water on roses, so he saw my whole yard and said he would be out to give me the plan, and then he would have his people come and do the work before I went away, but I never heard from him after that. Before he came over, I had called the county and looked them up in the Better Business Bureau, and it said they had an A+ ratings and that he had no complaints, but he was not a member but a lot of people don’t have to be a member, but he had good ratings and no complaints, so I called the county and asked them about him, and they told me they didn’t know but he was getting a lot of permits so he must be okay, and when I actually looked on the computer, he had pulled about thirty permits for the upcoming month. They came out early morning the next day when I was supposed to leave but I hadn’t as I didn’t get the go. There was a young kid about 20 to 21 years of age, and he was supervising. Mr. Diamond wasn’t there; in fact he had never called me back. They came out and just pulled out the pipes and started trenching. My yard in the front and back looked like some little grids, and they were just putting these pipes everywhere. I couldn’t tell what they were doing, so I came out on the back porch and I was talking to one of the young man who was working with them, and I didn’t know what they were doing as he hadn’t given me a plan, and he told me they thought I was gone. They trenched all over the yard, and I hadn’t had anything wrong with my yard, and I just had a couple of spots I was concerned about that would get a lot of heat when the sun heated, and I had some new plants and shrubs planted which I wanted to be kept watered when I was gone, so I was a little concerned, so I decided to have an irrigation system because I was not able to get out and do this work and I had to have my yard work done as I have a heart condition and a neurological problem together. The young man also told me that he didn’t really do this work and he was a concrete guy, and I thought may be something was strange. At about 1 o'clock, the young man got everybody up and told them to go back to the truck and they had put the sand in the yard and there were clumps allover my yard. He said he would be back to finish up, and I didn’t know what was going on. I didn’t even know how to run it or anything else, and the guy didn’t come back and he came back at 6 o'clock with a girl in the evening, and by then it was getting dark. He came walking around the back of the house and started going around adjusting the sprinkler heads. I have a soaker hose in my garage, and this what they had put in my rose garden was like a little piece of brown stuff and they didn’t even cover half of the rose garden. I told him plainly that I had to leave next morning and I had a plane to catch and also that it was dark and he cannot see what he is doing. The next morning before I left for ten days, I called his company and talked to the receptionist and told her that the young man who had come back here after dark didn’t show me how to use it and that he had adjusted things after dark which he couldn’t possibly have seen anything and that I didn’t know what they had done at that point. I came back after ten days and there were areas allover my yard where there was too much water splattered and there were a lots of areas that were totally dead because of no water as it hadn’t rained for about two months. They had put twelve sprayers and my rose garden dripper on one zone and were connected to the city water. They had put one of the sprayer right on the edge of my patio and I was planning to expand my patio. My front yard was right in down the road, and they had put four rotors on the sides with the fences. My average water bills comes around $40 maximum, but my water bill that month was $246, and the water had rotted the grass and the whole top of the yard had died out because it had no water, and my island was rotten and it was a big mess. I called them and asked them why couldn’t they fix it, and he told he was going to have it fixed, but they never did anything. They came out about six times, but they couldn’t do anything. In the front, they had put five sprayers on one side of the driveway. Some of the sprayers were not spraying that much on the shrubs. I went out for two months and when I came back the whole yard had to be replaced because all the grass and shrubs were dead. I called Rain Bird Products and they said he was not a select contractor and his company wasn’t either. His company actually was just a service company, and they just go out and replace sprinkler heads or sell them in the store. When I called the county, they said they didn’t regulate pipes and I said they were not pipes and it was my yard and it was an irrigation system that they had put in. I had to pay around $1300 to get someone to come in to clear up and my ex-husband came down from Georgia and raked all the dead grass, about 15 to 20 bags. I had to pay $4000 to have someone come and fix my yard. I am sure most people know about him by now that he is lying to everybody. Mr. Diamond came here one more time, and I showed him what happened. His technicians were good, and he had two nice technicians, but they just fix things in the ground. They had set the timer for rotors to go off at 5:30 in the morning, but three of the rotors started going off in the mid day and I couldn’t cut them off and they just kept running over and over. I read the book and did everything to troubleshoot, and since it was a Saturday they weren’t there till Monday, and by then, my lawn would have been flooded with this water. In the back of the book, it said if there was a problem with the power, then I needed to pull out the first panel off and put it back and reset it and it might go off, and that's what I did to finally get it cut off. I called Mr. Eric Diamond and asked him if I could speak to Ms. Cynthia Diamond who is listed as the president and he was listed as the manager, and he asked why I needed to speak to her, and I said that he wouldn’t talk to me and he was hateful with me. He told she hasn’t anything to do with this business, and I said she does as she was the president. He is not qualified to be a contractor, and he got an irrigation contract recently; however, irrigation contractor can only connect pipes, and they cannot do anything else. He had also put permits under plumbing when he is not a plumber. Their company was horrible, but their technicians were very prompt and very nice. I would not use them again in the future.

I called to get estimate for job and first avail appt was a few weeks out. I told the lady I would not be able to take off work for a half day to be there and she said I didn't have to be there then she tried to end the call without even knowing what I wanted done (I'm guessing she was presuming that I was starting from scratch on a lawn irrigation system?). I explained it to her and gave her contact information for neighbor who would be there during estimate to clarify work requested. He arrived on date scheduled. My neighbor said that he was told I would be sent and estimate (and didn't give him any information). After a few weeks I called them because I didn't receive anything. She gave me a price verbally and I told her I'd like to discuss setting up a time. She said she would have to discuss the schedule with owner and get back to me. I waited....and waited... started seeing utility flag markers around my yard and it took me a while to figure out what that was about... I was guessing they were moving forward with the project without discussing dates etc with me and I was right. I was ready to start over with another company .... over a month out from last conversation with them, when I received a voice mail telling me that they would be there the following Tuesday (it was Friday afternoon and I was gone for the weekend) to do the job. The crew came on stated date and time and I discussed project with owner. He was very nice and explained how he recommended laying things out. He left and crew started the work. It took them maybe 3 hrs. to complete. Some ditch digger machine was used across grass to place lines and when job was completed I had three large elevated lines of dirt over 12 inches wide left across my grass.. didn't even try to get the push the dirt down. I was told it wasn't a big deal and grass would grow right over it quickly ... over 2 months now... still looks all torn up. I paid the supervisor with a check and was told I would be sent a receipt. A week or so later I noticed that there didn't seem to be enough pressure to raise a few of the mister and oscillators on previously existing lines were no longer moving. They did come back out and change size of heads and honestly that may have been a pressure problem from the well which they explained and I was satisfied with that interaction. A week later, less than a month after instillation, there was a water leak on a coupling they placed near the main tie in (where they worked on main line from water company). I called on a Thursday and the lady said they may not be able to get out there the same day because they were working on a big project in Pensacola. The leak was pinhole and I checked meter determining I was losing about a gallon an hour. I told her it would be OK if they got there the next day, but it needed to be addressed because the only way to isolate was to cut off water to my entire house..... They never showed or called. I ended up having it repaired myself over the weekend. They did call on Monday about it, like no bid deal... he we're going to come check out your problem today... too late. Summary: Shame on me for continuing to do business with this company when I had reservations at several different times in my dealings with them. I had no written estimate, never received a receipt and communication was poor throughout. Nice person trying to survive in private business who has NO business organization. I appreciate the struggles of small businesses and always try to send my work their way. I am sorry to say that I cannot recommend this company.

Waterworks is the real deal...reallyreally ;) Had 2 other irrigation companies on my project....one installed the existing system. Two zones had weeper hoses which clogged incessantly (garden beds). The install company came out once to fix....and shortly after it was "fixed", the same problem reoccured. They never returned after a number of call backs. Having said that, I love their landscaping....not their irrigation system. I love those guys at that Nursury as well. Called another irrigation company in Milton, Fl. got the "HeeBeeGeeBees" from that guy....wanted to fix my system by doing the same thing the original contractor did.....not impressed.....wanted him off my property in a big way..... Enter.....waterworks......NICE! Very professional and thoughtful. Polite....good listener.......GREAT! solutions to my problems......and boy did they do a great job for me....BTW....Eric the owner....coaches his sons Baseball team.... You will not find a better lawn irrigation company than waterworks....Got call backs to see if we were doing OK and that we were happy with his work....does not get any better than that Please support him....he does great work.......Good people :) I trust them....nice in todays world. best wishes M

We had kind of a bad experience, mostly regarding the scheduling of the appointment. My wife was given a 6-hour sit-around-the-house-and-stare-at-the-walls window of time, and was promised a 15-minute heads-up phone call. The courtesy call didn't happen, so my wife missed the technicians and an entire afternoon was wasted. When we finally did meet, the technicians were very courteous, and did a fairly quick assessment of my system. They provided a couple of inputs and suggestions...and then charged me $75! I was pretty shocked. For that money, I would have expected a MUCH more comprehensive and scientific analysis (tuna cans, etc.). Frankly, I was not expecting to be charged at all, considering the inconvenience of the previous appointment. In summary, I don't believe I got $75 worth of service from this company, and my wife was greatly inconvenienced by the lack of communication from the staff.

I was very pleased from the start to the end. It was better than advertised. The price was below everyone else and quality was superb. My new sod is flurishing and the sprinkler system works great! They took the time to make sure I was happy. Returned several times because I could not figure a few things out and did not complain. Anyone needing new sod or sprinkler system needs to hire these guys. I had three other folks I called, one took 20 bucks of my money for a soil sample and I have never heard from him. The other two were not even close regarding their estimate. And yes it was for the same work, exactly the same work. Thank you Water Works for a job well done!

This company is wonderful to deal with. They respond quickly, come when they say they will and fix the problem. During the course of the day, it became apparent that the first control panel installed was not working properly, so I called the office. Within a couple of hours the crew was back with a new control panel, installed it and it works perfectly. The whole staff is friendly and polite. I'm a very well satisfied customer.

This was one of the best experiences, I've ever had in hiring someone to perform services at my home. First and foremost, he responded immediately; and made an appointment to start installation on Monday at 7AM, at 7:05, I looked out my front window to find several work men already well into digging trenches. He was complete with the entire job just after 1pm. His work men were professional and thorough. The gentleman, that walked through the installation; and how to work the system was kind and patient. He ensured, I understood everything; and encouraged me to ask any questions I needed to. They left my yard and property just as neat as they found it. I would highly recommend this company to others.

Very professional and showed up on time. Our sprinkler system has been losing water pressure for years, we have had multiple sprinkler contractors look at it. They did everything from replacing the pump to redoing all the pipes, but were unable to fix it. We've been living with a low pressure system for years. After showing up, he diagnosed the problem (Iron/sediment buildup) on screen, cut the pipe open, added some liquid plumber and returned the next day to reconnect. Finally working again like it's supposed to. After having so many other sprinkler companies misdiagnose it, not show up on time, not call back when it wasn't working again, it was a great experience. I highly recommend this company.

Description of Work: They came out and replaced my sprinkler pump, adjusted and checked all the sprinkler heads, and replace a number of nozzles and filters that were clogged or otherwise defective.

The entire experience was outstanding. My wife and I were on the road and the pump went out on a residence my parents live at. We were able to complete everything over the phone. The work was done on time, the technician showed up on time (not common in this area) and best of all, didn't impose on my elderly parents. I will use this company from now on for all my lawn irrigation needs.
Description of Work: They replaced a lawn sprinkler pump and checked the sprinklers for proper operation.
