Everything turned out really well. Their bid was the most competitive of those we received. The crew that came out was quick and efficient, and completed all of the work in one day.

It went great. The garage door was the first item delivered and installed. No problems everything went great and I really like the garage door. The windows were the next big item and they got here on time and everything went really smooth with the install. The doors were done last and they look fabulous. What an improvement. The installers were professional. On time and really new their stuff. The clean up was immaculate. No dirt or dust.

They came at 7:30, on time. They were ready to work, were professional, and will be back in October to put the rest of the windows in!

Process was pleasant from start to finish Work was completed in a very professional manner with no hidden extra charges and on time, as estimated.

They did a good job. They came in and installed it and took it off and showed us how it all went. They did good job.

They were excellent. They came in and put it up. They didn't make a mess. There was no damage. They were polite an respectful. They followed up. Everything was good.

The work was great. Everything was on time. The product was good. They were willing to explain and talk through things. That helped a lot.

I was more than satisfied. They were 110%. They kept all their appointments. They were friendly. They told me what they were doing. When they were done they did what they said they were going to do. The person who came over to do the free estimate did a fine job on that as well.

Mr Majors came out to my home. We talked over the ideas I had and He agreed. We signed the contract.Work was on time and well done.I liked the way they did every thing they said they would do.I have a lovely room I enjoy year round.

Mike, from Majors, came for the estimates for hurricane shutters, deck enclosure & for the addition of gutters. He was extremely friend & punctual. He told me exactly what was going to happen with an approximate time-line & it followed as he spelled out. All workers were extremely friendly & they did a great job of cleaning up after themselves. While I think their price is a bit high, you certainly get your money's worth.

Overall, the project went really well. We gathered quotes from 4 companies total. The salesman from Majors Home Improvement gave a detailed presentation and answered our questions to our satisfaction. This may seem simple, however, our previous quotes didn't go as well (one contractor was late while we had to ask another pushy salesman to leave). After signing the contract, someone came out again to remeasure the project. There was some confusion about one of the measurements, but it appeared that the second outing averted a potential problem. We were told to expect about 6 weeks until construction, and that actual build time would be a few days. Work began in the 6th week. The installers were fantastic. They were very polite and professional, and appeared to be quite organized. They worked diligently, but, thanks to bad weather, the project ran one day longer - not a big deal. The room really did turn out better than we had hoped. All in all, we felt our money was well spent. Afterward, a manager called inquiring of our overall satisfaction. We did have some minor issues that needed to be addressed (door adjustment & loose screen), and we were told that a tech would come out and fix them. True to their word, all items were corrected that same week. In the end, we could have spent less on our sunroom. However, we feel that the money was well worth the hassle-free experience. We would use them again without hesitation.

Signed Contract 6/24/08 - 4-6 weeks for windows. In between windows were measured. Scheduled work 7/28/08 between 8 and 9am. 7/28/08 - workers did not show and no call, 9:15am - I called for the status, then they called and said they were delayed with another job and apologized and said they would be there in an hour -showed up at 10:30am. Workers were professional and courteous. When work was complete (same day) they cleaned up OK however, left nails here and there outside and other debris in storm gutters in back and on upper deck. Clean-up could have been better and it overall was good. They got everything installed in one day!! I liked that. They also took the time to show me the shutter installation process. Once the work is completed the remaining money is supposed to be paid in full. However, keep in mind that work is not completed until the final inspection. The workers are not the ones to take this issue with. Let the folks in charge know this when you make the contract agreement - that you will not pay in full until County Inspection is Finalized!! 7/31/08 - Oakaloosa Co. Inspector did not show as scheduled and I waited all day because if you are not there and they have to reschedule then you pay a $50 fee for it. I called Majors at 4:30pm that day and talked with Daren to let him know. Guess what?? The County folks showed up on 8/4/08 without scheduling it and I was not available. So I called Majors (Tanya) and she was very helpful and rescheduled (8/11/08) for me and no fee would be charged. Obviously the County folks have done this before! On 8/11/08 the County showed and did the final inspection.

Workmanship was outstanding, WHEN IT FINALLY HAPPENED. We paid half up front in November. No communications from the company to let us know that parts had been delayed, no communications to let us know when the new installation would be scheduled for, Leon refused to return our calls, finally had to get the owner involved after four months (why wouldn't he get involved after the first few phone calls asking for status or schedule??). Installation finally happened in February. Workmanship, courtesy, craftsmanship, and attitude of the installers was wonderful. A couple of outstanding professionals. They were missing springs for three of the windows. We paid the rest of the money based on their promise that someone would come back out as soon as the springs came in. Two weeks later, no one had come to install the missing springs. We called Majors again...they had our money and had given our problem to the window company to treat as a warranty repair. A representative of the window company finally came out, but Majors had not told him what the missing parts were. We complained again to Majors. A week later, the window company repairman came back and fixed the problem. Our mistake was paying the second half of the money to Majors...once they had it we were no longer their problem. Majors pulled the building permit for the work, but never followed up with us or the county to have the work inspected. We finally had to call and get them to complete the task. Overall, this has been a hugely difficult experience. This company did not care at all about us as customers. We use local businesses because we want to support hometown merchants. In this case, we should have used a national chain--at least they have a quality assurance process that rewards outstanding service and vice versa.
