lawn mower repair
+ -1 moreDisappointing experience and apparently I am the exception to the rule, so I hope this is the case for everyone else. Called 3/7 and arranged pick up of ride on mower for the Friday. Nobody came. Called Saturday to find out about pick up, paperwork had been lost, pick up rescheduled for 3/17. Nobody came. Called Saturday and pickup was scheduled for Monday. In the text to schedule from owner was "to make up for lost time I will get it turned around by Friday so we haven't lost any time." Texted and called multiple times to find status of mower with no reply. Today (4/7) got a call with an estimate of the cost and that it would be another week to be repaired. I was told that I should come and see all the mowers that they have on site which would explain why mine was missed. Declined the offer and I'll get the mower repaired elsewhere instead. If I ever get it back - delivery is scheduled for next Friday.

+ 0 moreWayne Helms, the owner of Integral Small Engine Repair was visiting a supply store here in my hometown when he overheard me asking one of the clerks if they knew of anyone that serviced mowers in the area. He introduced himself and said that he would be happy to offer his services since he was a mobile repair service and happened to be in the area. He was very professional and drove to my property where he serviced the large mower that I had not had serviced in years. Not only did he fix everything on it, but he also made sure that it worked properly by mowing quite a bit of my field. He asked me about a power washer that I had sitting in my barn. I told him that I had not been able to get it working in a long time and had been using a water hose to clean things around the farm. He serviced the power washer and got it working for me, free of charge. He may not be in my area ever again, but I would highly recommend his services to anyone in the Northwest Florida area. He was a true professional and showed true kindness to me.
Description of Work: I have a Toro Z-Master mower that had not been serviced since the Summer of 2012, just after my husband died. Wayne changed the oil, air filter, pre-filter, sharpened the blades, checked and changed all the belts, checked the capacity of the battery and changed it out for me. He made sure that all of my tires were in tact. He also serviced a pressure washer that I use for my kennels and farm.

+ -1 moreI was new to the area and found myself in need of a quick repair to get my new yard looking habitable. The owner explained everything, had the correct parts when he came out, and gave me some tips on keeping my equipment in better shape. Very honest people and kind.

Description of Work: Serviced my riding lawnmower. When I called to schedule I gave them the make and model of lawnmower so they could have the correct parts. When they came a week later, they did not have the right cutter blade-- They would call me back. I called them back a few days later and still no blade. It was like they forgot the job was not done. They came out a few days later and finally finished the job. The work done was fine and it was convenient that they came to my house. The service guys were very nice also.
