He provided a portfolio of completed shower projects that illustrated his attention to detail quality of work. He was very professional and courteous. We highly recommend him.
Description of Work: We hired Charles to redo the unsatisfactory shower work left behind by another contractor that was hired to do a bathroom remodel project.

 + -1 moreThey've been continuously working here. They just do everything for me. This is a 1600 square foot house so they did a lot of painting. They painted the base boards also so they had to do a lot of taping. I like their honesty on making the bid for the job and I like the excellent job they do. They make suggestions to improve different things. I've been using them since probably the end of January.
Description of Work: They painted my whole house and then they did the concrete pad.

 + -1 moreGREAT! HE DID A WONDERFUL JOB. HAD TO WORK AROUND OUR 4 DOGS WHICH IS A CHORE AND HE LOVES DOGS. HAD TO MOVE HEAVY FURNITURE AS HE PAINTED TO INCLUDE CURIOS WITH GLASS PIECES INSIDE WAS VERY CAREFUL NOTHING BROKEN. THIS IS THE THIRD TIME WE HAVE CALLED UPON CHARLES TO DO SOME REMODELING IN OUR HOME AND HAS DONE AN EXCELLENT JOB EVERY TIME. AND WE INTEND TO USE HIM AGAIN.

 + 2 moreEVERYTHING WENT BEAUTIFULLY SINK AND FAUCET WAS DONE IN AN HOUR. BACK SPLASH WAS DONE IN TWO DAYS BECAUSE OF DRYING TIME OF ADHESIVE BEFORE GROUT IS APPLIED. THEN ADDITIONAL SHELVING TOOK ABOUT 2 HOURS. CHARLES IS A SPECIALIST IN THE REMODELING AREA,GREAT WORKMANSHIP.
Description of Work: CHARLES DID SEVERAL JOBS FOR US. WE WERE SO PLEASED WITH THE INSTALL OF OUR NEW 9" DBL BOWL SINK AND HIGH FAUCET THAT WE ASKED HIM TO INSTALL A BACK SPLASH THE WHOLE LENGTH OF OUR COUNTER TOP. HE DID A FABULOUS JOB. AND HE EVAN INSTALLED ADDITIONAL WIRE SHELVING IN OUR LAUNDRY ROOM. HE SAID THERE IS NO JOB TOO SMALL FOR HIM. HE WILL BE COMING BACK TO DO SOME MORE JOBS FOR US AFTER THE HOLIDAYS. Description of Work: Charles came to our house the day after I requested a quote. He was on time and very professional. Once we decided to use him for our deck he set up a time to come out to begin the work. He started the job on a Friday, didn't work on the weekend due to rain, and finished the job on the following Friday. He and his crew worked from sun up to sun set on most days. The price was right and the work was outstanding. I will use him for all of my future projects. Very honest and dependable!!!

First class job, great to work with, very creative in finding solutions to problems, cleans up thoroughly, and is very reasonably priced. I now use Charles exclusively for all repair and remodeling work on three rental houses that we own.
Description of Work: Tore out an old ceramic tile tub/shower enclosure and rebuilt it with modern ceramic tile, new plumbing, added an exhaust fan.

 + -1 moreCharles kept in touch with me prior to our appointment. He arrived promptly and did an excellent tile laying the backerboard, ceramic tile and then grouting. He even provided an extra piece of backerboard when we came up short and made a run for additional thin set. He was very pleasant and always professional. He also gave us a miltiary discount which was very much appreciated. We would definitely use him again for any job in and around our home.

They finished the job in a timely manner. The deck is absolutely beautiful and the quote to do it was right on the mark. We plan to use them to install hardwood floors in the house.

Description of Work: We called Charles after getting totally left in the dark by a guy named Maurice that we found on Craigs List that we had hired to install tile in our kitchen, 3 bathrooms and laundry room. Maurice did our kitchen and master bath and then disappeared never to be found again. Charles finished this job in a much more professional and skilled manner. He corrected many of Maurice's mistakes along the way. He was on time all 3 days and his crew was excellent. We will definitely use him again as he provides various services.

 + 2 moreWe are very pleased. Charles did not rush the job, consulted with us every day about all aspects of job, cleaned up after himself every day. Was always very pleasant and very easy to work with. Final product looks great. We love it. (While Charles was here he also replaced our ailing water heater as well). I'm sure the job took longer than he had estimated but he stuck with his quote. Where we added to the job his charges were very reasonable.
Description of Work: remodeled separate shower and bathtub enclosures/areas. Included removal of old ceramic tile, raised ceiling in shower, redid opening, installed fan in shower, replaced exterior window in shower, built up walls with backer board or drywall, primed new drywall, installed new plumbing fixtures, installed and grouted ceramic tile in both areas.

 + 0 moreWe have been quite satisfied with what he has done. He is a good worker and is very capable. He is very trustworthy and is safe to have around our house. We were satisfied with the price. Even our neighbor had a lot of work done by him. My son has also been satisfied with the price he was charged. The quality of his work is very good. He was right here and stayed with the job until he got finished. We had no complaints with him at all. We have been pleased with what we have received. He will be coming back to do some bathroom work.
Description of Work: My son used CJC Remodeling LLC for doing quite a bit of work for him on his property; he lives right on our same property. He built a covered deck out of cypress, reinforced timbers under the house as we have a crawl space under our house, replaced some of the timbers, hung doors and did quite a few things like that. My personal job with him was about six weeks in duration. Some of the work he did for me was to correct work that had been recently done by another person.

 + 4 moreCharlie Chambers, owner, accepted every task we asked him to do-cheerfully. He turned nothing down. Showed that he takes much pride in doing a job well-and he was so capable to do so. Pleasant, honest, trustworthy. We could not be more pleased with every aspect of our transactions. So good to find a willing worker; one who had to correct many things our previous remodeler had done. Just to see how he cared for his tools and his expertise in handling the job was gratifying.
Description of Work: Many services: Redid plumbing in one bathroom, replaced sheetrock (black mold), redid exterior re-do of vinyl siding. Corrected plumbing in 2nd bath. Updated with new columns on front porch, plus caulking and painting whole area. Removed damaged oak hardwood flooring, fixed subfloor, replaced with new (but original-52 yr old ) oak flooring. Replaced roofing on top of bay window-and painted same window trim. Installed cypress paneling in our "side room" (excellent), and installed ceramic tile on floor - and make doorsteps to match with cypress wood. Cleaned exterior of house, did trim painting, also garage painting, made new vents for air flow for crawl space.
