+ -1 moreTermites were not mitigated and the damage that was caused by termites while company had bond on house was not fixed by service provider. Make sure you select your termite company if you are buying a home and walk away if the seller will not work with you if they had reported termite damage.

They do not compromise or give false hopes or suggest expensive unnecessary treatments that really do not work and only cause you to spend more money. Very impressed with their knowledge and integrity. They have been around for many years in Tallahassee and their reputation appears to be their most valuable asset. They are not cheap, but it is worth the extra money.

+ -1 moreI did some research and checked them all up based on price and services and I used them, they did the job and we haven't had any termites since then. The sales person that came by was very polite, knowledgeable, did the survey of the property to make sure what the condition of the property was, and gave us an estimate. They set up a date and did the treatments. The technician that did the application was prompt. It was reasonable, based on competition. If we referred other people, they give us a discount. They came when they said they would come.

Although all the quotes were virtually within $10 of each other, Paul's was extraordinary in their customer service and offered a very high level of customer education. For me, that was the difference that made me choose Paul's.

+ -1 moreThey perform a monthly service. The technicians are professional and if you have a problem will suggest solutions for you. I had a mealy bug infestation in my pantry, no chemical can eliminate them but the technician suggest several things to do to wipe them out.
Description of Work: Clean off spider webs and spray for bugs around the perimeter of my home. They also baited for several ant mounds around my front door.

+ -1 moreWe had a tick problem at our home and we had our regular pest control company come out to give us an estimate - they quoted us an outrageous price of $2300.00, of course we were completely freaked out and could not pay that. We looked on Angie's list and found Paul's Pest Control and they quoted me about 1/3 of the price and came out right away and every week for a month. They showed up when they said they would and were very easy to work with. I would highly recommend them and I am going to switch all of my services to Paul's.

+ -1 moreWe are in regular contract with them through our home owner's association. It has been a good experience with them. They do a good job. We don't have any trouble with bugs. When we first moved in, 5 years ago, we called them because we did have roaches in and they came in and cleared them out. We never had a problem after that.

+ -1 moreSuper. I again thought I had termites and the company came the next day. Charles, the technician, was on time and very polite. What I thought was a termite problem wasn't. Charles suggested I might want to get a preventive policy, but didn't hard sell me when I said I'd have to think about it. These people are really honest and if I did have termites or any other pest problem, that's who I would use.
Description of Work: I had three companies come out to evaluate the termite swarm that had landed on my living room floor. One, a national firm whose name you equate with termites, gave me an estimate for $1500 to dig a trench around my house and spray poison into it. Paul's service manager came out, immediately identified the type of termite, did a thorough check of my house, and though he started the inspection thinking I might have an infestation, he ended it by saying he was pretty positive the swarm had come in from outdoors and was not burrowed into my home. HE WAS HONEST! I got an estimate for preventive work, which involved baiting, something I've read is more effective than the poison, and it was less than the national name brand guy and did not involve a trench..though the baiting would have been more work and return trips. Next time I need service I will call this company...he looked at the moth problem i had, told me exactly what to get and how to kill them...and again, though he offered services, he also didn't push anything on me. These people are GREAT!

+ -1 more.They did the last service on Thursday the 12th and we spent approximately $50.00. It is a bi-monthly service for pest control. Our experience has been positive. They show up on time, do their job and if anything looks like a mess they clean it up and leave. Best service I has ever had. They are very professional by calling ahead of time to make sure the appointment range is acceptable, and they are willing to adjust their schedule.

+ -1 moreWe discovered termites in the bathroom wall. Called Paul's and a service tech responded that same day. He was extremely informative. He examine under and around the house. He recommended the process to use, and explained in detail why it was the best choice. The next day another tech responded and installed the termite bait traps. And another tech came out to to treat the inside of the house. He explained the process to us again and explained how termites work. It was very educational and informative. I was very happy with their response and information through out this whole process.

The woman on the phone that took my call seemed unsure about what would be required to get this taken care of - she said she would have to send two men and make sure they had a ladder, etc. I explained to her that the windows were on the ground floor of a one story house and that a ladder wouldn't be required. The guy should just be able to drive over there and put some poison in the entrances in the windows to make sure the wasps would stop coming in. The exterminator showed up. sprayed some powder in the front windows and charged me $75. The wasps were eliminated, but I felt like the price was too high for the services rendered and I felt like they were trying to make it seem (initially at least), that the job was going to be more complicated than necessary (i.e. more expensive).
