I was very happy

They did a great job. I liked their general attitude. They were very nice. I was very impressed. They cut down seven or eight trees in our neighbor's house. I went over there and they came back with me and said that they would get to it later or if not the next day and they got to it later that afternoon. Their machine broke down. They are supposed to come back and grind up the stump. They burnt up the grinder. The price was excellent. In fact, they were around $600 cheaper than the last person I had used. One of the workers actually climbed up my roof and cleaned up the gutters. The quality of their work, their responsiveness, punctuality and professionalism were excellent.

The experience was very good, they knew what they were doing. I have more trees to be removed so I plan to use them again.

They were on time. They removed the trees and branches from the back yard. They then started on the magnolia tree. It was very large. The only trimming it had since the 1950's was near the power lines on the street. They had to take the tree down slowly so as not to touch any power, cable, telephone lines. They were completely successful in doing this. I would use them again. They were courteous and hard working. Very professional.

I joined Angie's List because we have some repair work to do around the house and being in Florida, I had immediate need to have some trees trimmed before hurricane season arrives. Angie’s List is said to be a great place to find good people, so I was completely confident when I hired Mac’s Tree Service, they had really good comments. Maybe they have multiple crews but not all went well. Felling limbs in the front yard was 90 % roped down, as it all should have been. They roped most of the limbs from two trees in the back yard – but – some of the limb cuts were allowed to fall and they impacted large holes in the ground, falling on the plants below. They destroyed completely a small 5 foot and a small 6 foot decorative tree that was growing nicely by dropping limbs on it. They drove the bucket truck onto my front yard in order to reach the limbs of one tree – it compacted my lawn soil a lot, but the worst part was the clean up, they used a bobcat front loader to hall debris from the back yard to the loading truck parked on the street in front of the house. They drove the bobcat onto the lawn to pickup the small piles of debris, in doing so they ripped up and scraped up much of the grass in the debris field. Then in haling to the front street the bobcat operator tore some of the best grass right out of the ground where the operator turned the bobcat. We now have bare spots where once there was grass. Although they did cut the limbs I hired them to cut, I cannot recommend their service because of the damage.

I thought they did a good job and they were conscientious. They were friendly and all, but I thought they were pricey for what you get. That may be true with all tree trimmers, but I had no means of comparison.

They took down a very large diseased oak and then the next week after Fay, returned the next day to cut up a fallen tree. We were the first in the neighborhood to get tree damage cleaned up.

I wanted somebody who was fully insured and licensed, this is why I hired Macs Tree Service. They showed-up without the papers and started to work. I stopped them, until I received proof of the above. The woman on the phone was very unfriendly about the situation.
