Work was performed for incoming homeowner. No complaints received.

No contact over a week. Left two separate voice mails, also had angies list reach out and they received no contact also.

They were prompt and professional and very fast. They pointed out some issues, showing me pictures and explanation, and developed a course of action. Some of the issues I had already anticipated. He explained they were not immediate needs but could be rescheduled in the next 12 months. I would definitely recommend them.

It was a great experience. They cleaned the chimney and also found some issues with the 30 yr old chimney. They scheduled a callback when the parts were avail and then came back and repaired the chimney. We were very satisfied with their service and will have them back every few yrs for followup and cleaning.

The technicians came and insepcted the firebox in my new home. Despite it being the original 1980s box, they were confident that it was in fine condition, that it did not need replacement and told me so. Then they inspected the flue and pipes and found that they were extremely corroded and dangerous, which was also clear to me upon review of the photos they took during the inspection. The firebox, while safe, was so old that new pipes to fit it did not exist, nor could they be fabricated. As a result, the entire unit and pipes had to be replaced. I felt confident with their recommendation because of the initial honest assessment that the firebox was fine while others had said needed replacement. I wanted a very specific new unit. I cannot say how hard Nick then worked to find me the right unit. He did all sorts of research, made a variety of changes and recommendations and ultimately, despite my pickiness, found us a unit and flue that fit our needs. I cannot say enough good things about him, his professionalism and the overall service by all the crew.

We still have some work to do-- when the crew went to replace the fire-stop as planned, they found a more deteriorated condition than expected. They showed me photographs taken that day as well as pointing out some very visible signs right at the perimeter of my fireplace; the work as planned would need some reconsideration and a new estimate. In the interim, the cap and cover replacements have effectively stopped the leakage that is the root cause of the problem. We're scheduled for a tear-down and reconstruction in early June. The Chimney Keeper maintenance and repair crew were very pleasant and professional, with a 'safety-first' approach to their work. They answered all my questions the very best they could on the spot, and their answers have proved out well. My ensuing conversation with Nick, where I got the expert's take on the situation, the new estimate (very rough at this point, as there will be more discovery when he opens up the chimney) and my June scheduling, was very pleasant-- I found him straightforward and friendly, and I'm looking forward to our working with him to finally remedy our chimney issues. I'll be able to finalize this review once the work is complete, but... so far, so good.

Joshua from Chimney Keeper was very professional and arrived on time. He showed me what he was going to do, and after the service was complete he showed me how this cleaning improved the airflow.

They found a problem with the dryer vent on the roof (totally clogged) and wrong vent. They came back the next day and changed out the vent and patched the area (smaller vent). The chimney cleaning was the neatest (cleanest) I have ever had Very nice work and very nice men

Was pleased with their service, on time and no problems with them. Would recommend them to all. Your Angie list does not say about the extra charge for 2 story houses. It says for dryer vent there is a extra charge but does not say for chimney cleaning. Feel you should correct that. We were happy with the service from them and good service was provided to us .

Only negative - they were quoting price for additional recommended services and still haven't gotten back to us with pricing.

This provider never scheduled the appointment and they still have not performed the service I purchased.

We did need a new cap for the chimney which we expected as the other one was 25 years old. Of course there was an additional cost for that. I assume it was reasonable. It we had it to over I would probably get an estimate from someone else to compare cost. There are different sizes and materials that the caps are made from and all that must be taken into consideration. Supposedly we will never have to replace this one. Overall, we're very pleased with the work.

The service went fine and they did a good job. The technician was courteous, did a nice job cleaning up and was efficient. I do not know of any scheduling issues.

No one called to establish appointment ? 3 men showed up unannounced stating they didn't have phone number to call to set up appointment. I am pretty sure I left a contact number. Then after cleaning they fireplace they stated I needed a new fireplace and could no longer use the one I have. However they never showed me the holes they were talking about. My husband is not relying on their advice. He says what the workers said, makes no sense.

The representative did a great job. He called ahead and then showed up on time. He was cordial and helpful.

They came on time, took measurements, made new cover and installed it within two weeks.

Great, they arrived when they said, went right to work, finished in about 30-40 minutes, cleaned up and left. No trouble at all.
